At first you think Shadow Planet is all about the original looks, but the more you play, the more you realise this game gives your brain enough complex situations to keep you occupied for hours on end.- Gamer.nl

Pure strategy, complex but solid controls and an irresistible multiplayer make Frozen Synapse a surprise hit. It's not a beautiful looking game, but ignore the basic presentation, because this is a game everyone should try at least once.- Gamer.nl

Don't let the playful title fool you. Toy Soldiers Cold War can stand its ground between the big wargames. You'll find plenty of action, a challenge and basically a game that will appeal to a lot of gamers.- Gamer.nl

If you are looking for a serious fitnessgame to really train your condition, UFC comes close. If you have the proper motivation that is, because the game itself sure isn't going to motivate you.- Gamer.nl

Driver: San Francisco is not like the previous Driver games. A lot has changed since the beginning of the series, and not all for the better. We take for granted that the premise of the story is ludicrous, but we can't escape the feeling that the racing itself is also being pushed to the background.- Gamer.nl

This game is all about the looks: the imagery on offer here is simply spectacular. But what is the message? We have no clue. The gameplay is lacking and overly simplistic. If you're looking for the next "art-game", look no further, but don't expect to play something that's truly fun.- Gamer.nl

Do you love zombies? Then you can live out your fantasy on this tropical island, bashing their faces in and cutting their bodies with baseball bats, knives and guns. But that's all there is to do in Dead Island. The different genres that are combined here don't gel together so well and the game has no story whatsoever. Dead Island doesn't deliver on its premise, but hey, it does have thousands of zombies, and that makes it somewhat fun.- Gamer.nl

Human Revolution might not be as revolutionary as the original was back when it came out, but the main elements of this series is still as exciting and downright unique as it was ten years ago. This is how a game that wants to tell a story should be: interactive and focussed. On top of that, Human Revolution takes place in one of the best virtual worlds ever. Some technical hiccups don't get in the way of this impressive experience.- Gamer.nl

Fair is fair, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a game of below average quality. But because it doesn't pretend to be anything more than that, we'll let that slide. But even for a game in which simplism is the main attraction, it still does too many things wrong. That makes EDF: Insect Armageddon entertaining for an hour or two (possibly longer in coöp), but the lack of any variation makes you want to put it down rather sooner than later.- Gamer.nl

Dream Trigger 3D tries to offer its player an original mix of shooting and puzzling, that's supposed to please the hardcore gamer on the 3DS with abstract worlds and a high difficulty. Unfortunately the game is unclear, unfair and simply unplayable, which's why it's actually interesting for no one.- Gamer.nl

Offers little variation and hardly requires strategic input, which leaves a mindless third-person shooter. The well-executed story and great looking characters make it a tad more interesting, but these elements can't hide the fact that the four-eyed magician often turns to his wands for simple and selfish needs.- Gamer.nl

Call of Juarez: The Cartel moves into dangerous territory by dropping the Western-setting. It loses that special something and what's left is nothing more than a unimpressive modern shooting gallery. The story mode, however, though filled with clichés, is high on content and has some great ideas. Unfortunately, it won't pull you through its rough bits.- Gamer.nl

From Dust shows that playing god is never a dull task. Trying to tame the forces of nature proves a challenge and provides a different experience every time you play. The sometimes troublesome pathfinding and suicidal tendencies of the villagers make up the only small gripe we have with this otherwise fantastic game.- Gamer.nl

Cars 2 is more than the usual movie-game, still it offers little more than the simplest form of entertainment. The adorable cars do provide some variation and the different race modes are well designed. But after a few nights of fun, fate strikes when the game starts to get overly difficult.- Gamer.nl

Captain America: Super Soldier delivers solid entertainment, be it short. The original story lacks a proper introduction and the smooth combat-system feels somewhat borrowed, but that doesn't spoil the fun. The flat AI and graphical issues do, unfortunately.- Gamer.nl

Revenge of the Titans bring something new to the table, which can be dubbed as an achievement in and of itself, considering the slowly flooding tower defense-genre. It defines itself with challenging gameplay, an amazing visual style, which results into a fast, intense and refreshing game.- Gamer.nl

Galaga Legions DX is what Galaga Legions should've been. DX reignites the old arcadegame in this modern era. It can be played indefinitely to improve your scores and to head off your friends on the leaderboards. It's not hard, maybe even a tad too easy, but most definitely addicting. And that without having to insert countless amounts of quarters.- Gamer.nl

The first impression that Terraria might give could come off as a bit stale due to its flat 2D-look, but that look just conceals the immense depth it contains. Real adventurers will be entertained for hours on end by exploring the different environments, fighting countless different monsters and by creating new equipment. The best thing: its low price.- Gamer.nl

A plot becomes a story, only when the details have been worked out. Bastion shines through the subtle way context has been given to the game world, which is filled to the brim with places of interest and action-packed hotspots. The all-knowing narrator and gorgeous environments duke it out for who has the most to tell. As the player you'll fill the shoes of the laughing bystander who makes off with this very unique game.- Gamer.nl

You can easily notice that everything about Transformers: Dark of the Moon, is made for a bigger audience. The game has become more simple and accessible, but doesn't lose that special 'Transformers-feeling'. It's a fun game, that doesn't do anything more than it's supposed to, which is also why it degrades into mediocrity.- Gamer.nl

Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era can be compared to a piece of chicken, without the tasty skin and having just too little meat on its bone. The New Era offers decent action, but lacks on other fronts. Meanwhile, the presentation tries its very best to undermine the potential the license holds.- Gamer.nl

Actual fear and horror step aside for an especially serviceable focus on action. This isn't solely the case for the lonely players though. Cooperatively there's more than enough quality to extract from F.E.A.R. 3, which makes this part the real successor to the original. The game stays on its feet, even though the story is poorly told and lacks impact, which is more than mentionable nowadays.- Gamer.nl
