Assault Horizon offers an exciting cocktail of action, nice graphics and intense dogfights. But its far from perfect and not all Ace Combat-players will enjoy the new tweaks.- Gamer.nl

PES 2012 gives you spectacular football if you practice enough. But some faults make this a step in the right direction, not the ultimate football game.- Gamer.nl

Forza 4 bursts with little improvements that work together to lift the racing in this game to the next level. The game offers a more rounded experience with the additions of Autovista and Rivals. The best racing game for Xbox 360.- Gamer.nl

We can accept that X-Men: Destiny doesn't look the part, but the gameplay isn't anything to write home about either. The only thing it has going for it is the ability to combine mutant power.- Gamer.nl

NBA 2K remains the best basketball series ever thanks to a couple of smart adjustments and an unprecedented presentation of the NBA. If you're willing to practice a lot, you'll probably won't play anything else.- Gamer.nl

Arkham City is better than its predecessor in every way. The gameworld, the move set and the story have all grown. The numerous subplots and villains that take the stage make this game almost too much of a good thing.- Gamer.nl

It's not easy to make a good dance game, apparently. Everything is compared to the brilliant Dance Central and with good reason. Some dancing games have some good moves to offer, but We Dance is just too much of a bad thing. Avoid at all costs.- Gamer.nl

Both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus look so much sharper and more colorful thanks to this HD-remake, but we can't ignore the cracks ICO starts to show. Shadows of the Colossus is still relevant and awesome today, but has some problems with loading textures.- Gamer.nl

F1 2011 is better than F1 2010 on all fronts. A great combination of challenging gameplay and the right race feeling makes this a must-have for all racing simulation fans.- Gamer.nl

Take Clint Eastwood and Rango and put them in a blender and you get close to the shooter The Gunstringer. The game is a funny take on the Western-genre, with not only the graphics enjoyable but also solid gameplay. A Kinect-game that actually feels like a worthy addition to your collection.- Gamer.nl

This second collection of ports is an ode to the growth of developer Ready at Dawn. Chains of Olympus feels like good practise, but Ghost of Sparta can stand tall next to the console God of War-games. Together they form a lovely, if not always consistent collection of adventures for Kratos to fight through.- Gamer.nl

Burnout Crash! has some bizarre crashes, but other than that it has little to do with the franchise. It's more of a puzzle game now with a cartoon-like look, with the fun gameplay modes locked until further in the game. The birdseye view actually limits the variation in the gameplay.- Gamer.nl

If you're looking for the most complete football game ever, stop looking. FIFA 12 has it all. And with the tweaks in gameplay it even offers a more challenging experience that will appeal to most football fanatics. What are you waiting for? Go get it!- Gamer.nl

Dark Souls is Demon's Souls times two. A bigger world with more torture for your bucks, but also an increase in errors. The result is fantastic though: a huge game filled with secrets and a learning curve for only the most dedicated gamers.- Gamer.nl

Technically, Rage excels. The shooter mechanics are fantastic and the enemies vary in their tactics. However, the game starts to drag towards the (sudden) end, and the save system irritates.- Gamer.nl

The use of Kinect in Rise of Nightmares is both its strongpoint as its weakness. It immerses you in a great survival-horror experience that has enough twists and turns to keep you entertained. But at the same time, the controls deliver so many frustrating moments that we can't really recommend it.- Gamer.nl

You should ask yourself if you are satisfied with more of the same. Were the two adventures of DeathSpank enough for you? The small changes can't cover up the signs of weariness that's creeping in this series.- Gamer.nl

Despite the lack of online multiplayer, Star Fox 64 3D is almost as captivating as the original fourteen years back. The short lifespan of the game is somewhat compensated by the local multiplayer.- Gamer.nl

Tropico 4 is hardly a new game at all. It feels and looks like the third game in the series and improves on only a few levels. At the same time, Tropico 4 is one of the better tycoon games in the past years. People who've missed the third game or fans that want more can rest easy and plan a vacation to this tropical paradise.- Gamer.nl

It does not happen very often that there's nothing positive to mention about a game, but Bodycount manages. The controls aren't adequate, the destruction and AI are largely missing and the scoring-system is misplaced. For a game that's supposed to be inspired by Black it's a slap in the face of gamers.- Gamer.nl

If Resistance 3 turns out to be the last game in the series, Insomniac can look back without any shame. The series hasn't gone out like a candle, but like fireworks. Sometimes the game is a little rough around the edges, but at the end of the ride you have enjoyed yourself, screamed and laughed. That's more than we expected from a developer who had little experience in the genre at the start of this trilogy.- Gamer.nl

A Japanese RPG that is challenging and refreshing enough for players that have seen all the other examples in the genre, while being easy on newcomers. The fantastic, enormous gameworld makes this an absolute classic on Wii and one of the best RPG's of the last ten years.- Gamer.nl

Gears of War 3 isn't filled with surprises, but thanks to a perfect pace and constant new set pieces, the game remains in your disc drive to the end. Thanks to the multiplayer – which is easy on newcomers – the durability of the game is also an impressive feature. Epic has listened to the community, used the feedback and created a fantastic closing chapter in this trilogy.- Gamer.nl
