Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered is a very interesting history lesson, but not in the way you might expect it to be. This is one of the most talked about games ever, and it still shows how Ubisoft overestimated itself.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate looks good and plays well. However, there isn't much that makes the game special. The tutorial teaches you some pretty amazing stuff but in the end you will hardly use any of those abilities. Besides that, there is no multiplayer mode present, making the game nothing more than average. And that's a shame knowing that the game could have been much more.

Blues and Bullets is ambitious, but messy. The design is interesting and the setting promising, but the story is based on too many cliches and unimpressive dialogues. A Crowd of Monsters have shown what it is capable of, without really persuading gamers into loving Blues and Bullets.

With an old-fashioned point-and-click adventure filled to the brim with references to beloved classics, Deck13 manages to appeal to the nostalgic gamer. Unfortunately the quality is second to the source material.

Rainbow Six Extraction combines good ideas with bad ideas. The action is very entertaining and the jars are manageable. On the other hand, the design of the game is very erratic and everything starts very slowly in the first hours. If you're looking for a fun co-op shooter there are better alternatives.

The Pathless is not the most original game and actually has too little to do. Despite its charms, the game is very often repeated in the six-hour story. The Pathless should therefore not really be mentioned in the same breath as its obvious source of inspiration. Fortunately, the beautiful presentation and soundtrack still manage to save the game.

Pro Cycling Manager 2009 is the most expansive cycling simulator ever made, but it's almost identical to last year's edition. The game might be interesting to newcomers, if they don't mind wading through the many options, facts and figures.

The second episode of this detective game does not keep up the suspense and level of the first episode. The plot does not really unfold and just when it becomes interesting, the episode comes to an end. There is a lot of potential here, but From The Ashes does not add to the story at all.

Ninja Blade offers a mix between God of War and Ninja Gaiden and is, in more than one way, pretty action packed. Perhaps too action packed. In between the cut scenes and the end bosses there is little room for 'normal' gameplay, making it hard to really enjoy the game for the hack and slash fans. Ninjas with an appetite for destruction and giant monsters will be more than satisfied while playing Ninja Blade.

Rebellion is unable to recreate the glory days of the first game. In trying, they have been way too conservative. The result is a game that looks and feels a lot like the original, which doesn’t hold up that much in this day and age. The multiplayer compensates for the single player, but not enough.

Superstars V8 Racing isn't a game for veteran race fans but it drives well enough to please casual gamers. The game is however light on modes and the intelligence of your opponents is poor.

    Saw
While Saw becomes a bit repetitive towards the end of the game, it has surprised us in a positive way. The game has a good story, oozes with the typical horror-flick vibe and a lot of the characters and bizarre contraptions of the movies have made their way in the game. The gameplay itself however is pretty frustrating. But if you love the movies and want more, this might begin to fill your thirst for blood.

This game is a challenging metroidvania. You play in a gorgeous surrounding with an intriguing backstory, which is divided by challenging boss fights. However, the more time you spend, the more boring this game becomes. It is predictable and it lacks having real interesting developments throughout.

Beyond: Two Souls takes the time to build up towards a few memorable climaxes. Unfortunately the story takes a few sloppy and sudden turns, that miss the point completely. It also doesn’t take long for the game mechanic to be nothing more than boring, mindless quick time events. Players and viewers aren’t being taken seriously enough by Beyond.

What is there to tell about Imperium Romanum, which isn't already been said about "Glory of the Roman Empire"? The game brings absolutely nothing new and feels like some tied together missions. Imperium Romanum is on the other hand a nice builder to play. The game is mainly a good title for newcomers in the genre.

The 3rd Birthday tries to ride the success of the Parasite Eve franchise, but doesn't manage to impress despite its stunning visuals. The clunky camera, over-average story and sloppy controls really undermine what would otherwise be a surprising, challenging and varied game.

Quantum of Solace isn't a bad game, but certainly not a great one either. It doesn't really feel like a Bond-game either, but in the end the movies don't either. It's a fun game but there are certainly better shooters on the market right now.

SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny is dated, but that's no surprise. What does surprise is the complete lack of imagination and at the same time a unique and seamless transition between RTS and hack and slash. What it does well, is offer a fun time for those with somewhat lower standards.

Remember Me, ironically enough, is never really memorable. The fights have a few fun twists but never really get interesting and the platforming feels very linear. The dystopian fiction that ties everything together is riddled with holes and explained pretty badly in parts. Remember Me isn’t a bad game, it just isn’t enervating.

Like every previous Slender-game, this one succeeds in frightening you and making you very paranoid with intense scares. The atmospheric, detailed environments set the tone very well. Unfortunately, repetitive gameplay and frustrating artificial intelligence keep Slender: The Arrival from being anything above average.

The quirky weapons of Fuse are the main subject of the game and make for a nice dynamic. It never really transcends that initial moment of charm though, due to a lack of ambition. You’ll probably forget Fuse before even finishing it. Who would have expected that from a game by Insomiac?

The Amazing Spider-Man doesn't make any mistakes, but also doesn't surprise in any way. It fits perfectly along the lines of other movie-based Spidey-games. That formula offers the necessary entertainment, but is a stale one at that. That's something a fresh storyline and a graphical update really can't change.

    Wet
Wet is off to a great start. The Grind house-movie-flavor works and the music is upbeat. The first four hours fly by thanks to the gameplay and a very nice looking Ruby. But after that, it gets repetitive. There's a lack of variation and challenge. When you die, you don't get the feeling it's your fault. And at the end, you get into a boss fight that's a real disappointment. Wet is a game that really entertains for a while and after that doesn't offer enough. This makes the game ideal to pick up when the price drops, to complete it on a rainy Sunday.

That Inversion has been released without publisher Namco Bandai even making a sound about it, says it all. Inversion doesn't do anything particularly well and mostly just copies other games. But the shooting is descent enough and keeps you busy for about six hours at a high pace. It's mediocrity in its purest form.

Windward puts the controls over the fun with the player, as it is more a framework than a complete video game. Only the multiplayer mode gets Windward going, which means it is not the action-filled multiplayer sandbox game that was promised.
