The Novelist is mostly a missed opportunity. It combines stealth and adventure in the midst of adult dilemma's, but never do its fresh ideas turn The Novelist into an exciting or emotional whole.- Gamer.nl

The first big DLC for Far Cry 4 is a let-down. There is not any real new content and it offers a lot of repetition. Why buy this for the full price? But, not all is negative, it still feels great to shoot everything to pieces with an interesting range of weapons.- Gamer.nl

Mayday! Deep Space is an unique way of telling a science-fiction mystery. The combination of excellent voice-acting and the controls work good together, but it also results in a game feeling limited: the gameplay is minimal and the game is too short.- Gamer.nl

Naruto: Clash of a Ninja Revolution is a very entertaining fighting game. The combat system works just fine and the storyline is pretty compelling. Too bad that the game doesn't have a lot of improvements over the last Naruto, making it a game that does little to renew the series.- Gamer.nl

With a beautiful, dream-like style Lucidity grabs you almost instantly. But while playing it slowly loses its grip. The concept knows too many flaws and irritations to keep you fascinated and the story is too minimal to provide a counterbalance.- Gamer.nl

Wheelman is best described as a B-movie. Bad production values and a lousy script. However, the funny one-liners, bad dialog and over-the-top action make up for lost ground. Wheelman is by far a good game, but still a very enjoyable one.- Gamer.nl

Deponia has a brilliant setting for a funny adventure and has a nice story to tell. Unfortunately it's held down by an uncharming main character and especially annoying mini-game puzzles. It also ends in an Empire Strikes Back-ish manner, which makes the wait for the next episode quite depressing.- Gamer.nl

Stronghold Crusader 2 is not what we’ve hoped: right now the game doesn’t come close to its great predecessor. Still, there are some original ideas to be found here, but thanks to all the bugs it feels like this game has been released too soon.- Gamer.nl

Enslaved takes players 150 years into the future, in a world where both creation and destruction flourish. Its overwhelming beauty of nature entangled with machinery requires a moment to digest. Sadly, the game rarely allows for such sightseeing. Instead players are forcibly dragged through every scene of the game, which then comes to an abrupt close. Ultimately they are left with a very convincing movie, without the gameplay to back it up.- Gamer.nl

TopSpin 2K25 is a striking return of a decades-old series. The tennis action is exciting and balanced, but all the peripheral issues ruin a significant part of the gaming experience.- Gamer.nl

Rain World will beat you up. The progression system is extremely frustrating, which is a pity as this game had the potential of becoming one of the most intriguing survival games of the year.- Gamer.nl

Brink feels like a breath of fresh air in the shooter genre, but turns out the victim of its own ambitions. That's mainly due to the large amount of potential that Brink holds, which is why it fails at other essential shooter-elements. Nothing's wrong with the way it plays and the class-system, but the lack of a decent amount of game-modes and maps, the below-average artificial intelligence and the constant network-delays, make it so that the qualities of Brink only show themselves very sporadically.- Gamer.nl

The Aftermath is the game-version of all those movies that are brought out straight on DVD: simple entertainment to kill time with, but never anything special. Apart from the fantastic soundtrack, the game never manages to surprise.- Gamer.nl

At first glance, Alpha Protocol has a lot of faults, like goofy animations and dated graphics. Have patience and you'll find some rewards, such as the well developed characters and the ability to really alter your own character. Still, there's too many negatives here to really enjoy yourself.- Gamer.nl

The swordfights and expansive customisation options are interesting, but the repetitive gameplay and superficial conversations and choices make Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword only convince partially. The world does invite you to finish your journey from being a local hero to an international army-leader, but it doesn't turn out to be especially good or special.- Gamer.nl

This is not a videogame; there is nothing challenging about it, no puzzle element and no way of doing things wrong. As a creative toy it is okay, as there is a big load of furniture to choose from, but in the long run, Happy Home Designer is simply not going to suffice as a proper Animal Crossing-game.- Gamer.nl

It's a cliché, but this is a game for the fans. Not because we're scared and we can't take the horror. It's because fans are the only ones that can overlook the faults. The controls and the camera are terrible to work with. The typical Silent Hill-vibe makes up for it.- Gamer.nl

At its best, Patapon 3 can be addicting and make you feel invincible. At its worst, it's frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. Whether this third instalment should be a part of your collection depends solely on your need for another shot of Patapon, because for newcomers, previous iterations are a more suitable choice.- Gamer.nl

Contrast is given shape by promising and atmospheric game concepts, but comes up short in its execution. Although switching from light (3D) to shadow (2D) could potentially create unique and challenging situations, the simple puzzles and bad controls only guarantees a minimal experience. If the possibilities were more though out and everything would work just a bit better, this indie game could've been much more interesting.- Gamer.nl

Unsolved Crimes is a game that makes a brave attempt to give the gamer the feeling that he's actually a detective that's investigating a homicide. The first couple of levels are nice, but after a while the game keeps repeating itself. Maybe if you're a gamer with great stamina or a secret desire for repetitive games you will have some fun playing this game.- Gamer.nl

The Saboteur had a lot of potential thanks to the unique setting, but this hasn’t resulted in a good game. The story never gets really interesting and the gameplay is too bare-bones to really make an impression. Not a great farewell for Pandemic Studios.- Gamer.nl

Secret Angent Clank is a game with two personalities. It has the sneak missions with Ratchet, with an irritating camera, and the action missions with Captain Qwark, which are very entertaining. If you can handle some frustration, this game might be a nice snack for in between.- Gamer.nl

The new and improved puzzle-styled Tenchu: Shadow Assassins is a step in the right direction for the series. Nevertheless the game has little to do with the original Tenchu, making it a strange experience for the Tenchu veteran. But if you're open to it, Tenchu: Shadow Assassins will offer a very entertaining fifteen hours of ninja-power.- Gamer.nl

Fat Princess looks delicious and, in theory, provides enough depth with her action-, RTS- and RPG-elements. But the game centers around cooperative team-play, and that doesn't happen too often when you play with other people. Most matches end up in a free-for-all where tactics aren’t anywhere to be found. On top of that your AI-teammates are dumb, the game suffers from bugs and lag and the Mage-class is far too powerful. Fat Princess just didn't become the game we wanted it to be.- Gamer.nl

SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 offers easy fun in a short single player campaign. However, the clunky controls and the overpowered A.I.-driven teammates do hamper the experience. The multiplayer mode is solid and extensive.- Gamer.nl

Unfortunately, London 2012 is nothing more than the Olympics for button bashers. The mix of quick-time events makes it somewhat less painful, but that doesn't change the fact that it's an unpolished game. There are decent aspects to it, but there's more to gain from the world's largest sporting event.- Gamer.nl
