Games are often more than the sum of their parts. The reverse is the case with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The positives are overshadowed by the negative elements, and the result is as messy as it is boring.

With a smoother fighting system and plenty of secrets to discover, this second part does that a little bit better. Yet The Surge 2 lacks an innovative approach. The end result is therefore entertaining, but also predictable.

If you are stripped far enough, you will eventually be in your shirt. Assassin's Creed Mirage also experiences this. Everything that does not have to do with assassinations is omitted, but nothing new is added either. The result is at times nostalgic and entertaining, but ultimately as fleeting as a mirage.

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is as strange as you'd expect it to be from reading the title. Although is offers decent platforming action, it effectively tries to prevent you from having fun with it in every way. Monotonous, illogical design choices and other annoying aspects make this rabbit jump to mediocre heights.

Cities in Motion 2 is a true paradise for those who love to plan everything into the smallest details. Other than that it offers too little variation to stay interesting for long, with boring graphics, drab environments and slow gameplay. Cities in Motion 2 is better than its predecessor, but no classic in the sim-genre.

SolSeraph combines city-building with platforming in the same way as ActRaiser did years ago. Unfortunately this game is a bit rough around the edges, which makes it a bit old-fashioned.

Collisions! Drama! Firework! And in between also some races in which your car rarely steers really well. That summary does indicate that Grid Legends is not for real motorsport enthusiasts, but can be fun for the more casual racing fan.

Gods Will Be Watching could’ve been one of the best indie games of 2014. A challenging adventure about making deadly choices. A game we would’ve loved to mention in a single breath together with The Banner Saga, Papers Please and The Walking Dead. Unfortunately, the developers focused too much on a risk management game mechanic, which is more irritating than emotionally moving.

There is a lot to explore in this game, but unfortunately putting LEGO and Marvel together simply does not mix too well. A few small errors make keep this game from feeling truly epic, but there is still enough to get out of it if you are a fan of Lego or Marvel.

Unravel is a beautiful puzzle platform game that quite vividly speaks to your emotions. The downside however, is that the game itself is simply not a lot of fun to play.

Tharsis offers a lots of frustration and excitement, but when it comes to explaining things Tharsis seems to be lacking. The gameplay is a tad repetitive and therefore gets boring swiftly. That is a pity, cause the playing the dice and the good buildup makes Tharsis an interesting game.

The capabilities of next-generation gaming and Ignite Engine can't be seen in EA Sports UFC. This has not only to do with poor qualities, but also with the lack of options and modes. This painful conclusion is only more painful because of the fact that the game is therefore a much lesser game than the nearly three-year-old UFC Undisputed 3.

Mario Tennis Open adds a few nice feautures, like a Super Mario Bros-minigame and online multiplayer, but in its core it doesn't utilize the chances it has. The game shines when playing with others though, because the artificial intelligence is too smart (or too stupid) to use the special strikes-system.

A Virus Named Tom is a nice puzzle game as a snack. It's structure is simple and it never gets very complicated. Still, there's enough challenge in this relatively short game and the multiplayer lifts it to greater heights. Unfortunately the versus and coop modes are only playable locally, and for a PC-game, that's a giant waste.

Underneath all the visual fireworks and impressive design Quantum Break is just a pretty good shooter with super powers. Some fights are great, but many enemies are plain dumb.

Forspoken would like to share the personal story of a woman who was abandoned as a baby and how it shaped her as an adult. Unfortunately, that only half works. The other half tells a worn-out fantasy story in a (cliché) moderate way. Although there is more than enough to do and experience in Forspoken, the actual fun is sometimes hard to find.

Twelve Minutes is an indie game that has been eagerly anticipated for years, mainly due to its unique concept. A man is stuck in a twelve-minute time loop and it's up to you to adjust little things and steer events in a different direction. In practice, that idea appears to lend itself less well to a game than hoped.

The concept behind Mario Sports Superstars seems solid, but none of the sports offers the depth we would expect from playing the bigger separate sports games. Mario Sports Superstars does many things, but does not really shine at anything.

The studio put a lot of love and care into this game, but there is more to a good JRPG than just an extended fighting system and passion. The storyline is not interesting and for characters like this, we would not bother saving the world.

This game tries to unite two very different genres and succeeds a little bit by imitating Super Metroid. However, many elements feel very repetitive because you keep on seeing the same spaces and items.

Prototype 2 is mindless fun, but lacking any glimpse of intelligence. Every element of the story is undermined by simplicity and shallowness. The game excels in creating a brutal interactive playground in which you roam around as a half-god. It's just a shame that this deity doesn't get a moment to shine.

Burnout Crash! has some bizarre crashes, but other than that it has little to do with the franchise. It's more of a puzzle game now with a cartoon-like look, with the fun gameplay modes locked until further in the game. The birdseye view actually limits the variation in the gameplay.

Ys VI: Ark of Napisthim was a great game, in 2003 when it released in japan. Now, especially since Origin and Oath in Felghana, it feels limited and obsolete. Adol has had so many better adventures in a later stage.

In Deadlight you play as an ordinary man instead of an indestructible hero, who just wants to survive in a rotten world. It's one of the graphically prettiest games on Xbox Live Arcade to date, but the gameplay unfortunately doesn't reach the same heights and the length of the game is disappointingly short.

Apotheon has a surprisingly strong style and the levels are interesting. It is such a pity this game is sickened by loads of bugs. Plus, the controls feel a bit too loose, which keeps the fights from getting any depth.
