Thanks to the new Focus-mode and some other new features Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 delivers once again as a great golfsim.

BattleTech brings to life the boardgame, including the mercenary fantasies of MechWarrior. There are a few technical difficulties, but other than that this is a great game.

Olija's main mechanism works great, but then fails in performance. Levels rarely excite the player with interesting variations and complex level design, which makes the game disappointing as a platformer.

Don't be fooled by the imaginative jacket: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is simply more Borderlands. There is nothing wrong with that in itself, but we had hoped for a little more surprise. The game is hilarious at times, but repetitive battles sometimes ruin the fun.

Detroit: Become Human is an impressive game. The production value is huge, the characters are very realistic and the game offers amazing scenes. However, it does not all add up to one complete experience, as the story seems too big to be told in just this game.

A nicely polished version of the legendary role-playing game and remains close to the original. The graphics might turn younger gamers off, but it captures Baldur's Gate's magic and allows the new generation to experience it too.

Not everyone will take the time and trouble to get the maximum out of what Yakuza 4 has to offer. Whoever does will be amazed by its marvellous story, bizarre amount of content and the deep and intrinsic characters. The lack of challenge and the notion that many of its aspects already existed in the third part, aren't relevant enough to detract from the total package Yakuza 4 has to offer.

At last: a console version of The Sims without a crappy control scheme. The Sims 3 may be not as extensive and flawless as the PC version, but is still a nice translation of the original concept that made The Sims great in the first place.

Way Out is a great mixture of a movie and a game. The performance of the actors is fairly poor at times and the gameplay somewhat simple, but the creativity and co-op experience are excellent.

Lost Odyssey might not have the same quality or finishing touch as the Final Fantasy-games, and also don't play the game for renewal of the genre. This doesn't take away the fact that the game is extremely enjoyable with a beautiful result of the somewhat unoriginal story. It has its limits, but Lost Odyssey is absolutely worth the trouble. A nice start for a beautiful series with potential.

For the best platform games you still need to go to Nintendo. Yoshi's Woolly World might not be of the same high grade as Super Mario World, but it still is a strong run and jump adventure with an extraordinary cute look and a great co-op mode.

Stellaris has a lot of depth: any aspect of your civilization is fully customizable. The game is at it best when everything comes together perfectly, but that does not quite happen in the middle of the game. But, the more time you invest, the more dynamic the in-game action gets.

The House of the Dead offers a great package of humour and style. The game has turned a boring genre into a wonderful spoof with a little help of some zombies and two cheeky cops. However, keep in mind that railshooters are pretty limited in terms of gameplay and length and aiming at a sensor on top of the tv is far from ideal. Nevertheless, we still want to congratulate Sega for a job well done, in turning House of the Dead into a very funny game.

When a game can give you that unpleasant and creepy feeling you'll know that it's a decent horror title. And Siren: Blood Curse is just that. A very convincing Japanese horror game with a throat-grabbing atmosphere and the undead popping up more often than an economic crisis getting the front page of a newspaper.

Atmospheric environments, blissful combat and a compelling story: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity actually does everything right, except for a number of technical drawbacks. Random frame drops and clumsy camerawork keep the spin-off from perfection.

PES is slowly creeping back up and it might have a chance to fight back FIFA if it keeps up this way. The return of some serious simulation ensures this is one of the better editions of the past years.

Keep in mind that Prototype is foremost a hack-&-slash-game and not, as some might expect, a free-roamer. Making it a game with not a lot of variation, even though you can unleash a lot of different attacks. The action is fast and chaotic, but may get frustrating because of the overload of enemies and high difficulty setting. Only a must-buy if you're looking violent action and a fast paced hack-&-slash game.

No Going Back is a worthy ending to a strong season. In the final episode you’ll leave a few memorable characters behind. Since you’ve made a lot of choices along the way, that’ll be a lot of personal goodbye’s. The narrative is of high quality, the interactive part not so much. Luckily, The Walking Dead continues to impress, even without having to press any buttons.

MotorStorm RC leaves us with mixed feelings. The MotorStorm spin-off is an ideal portable game with short races and no load-times. It also comes at a low price and boasts lots of content, and it's playable on both your PS3 and Vita with some great crossplatform functions. But when it comes to controls and the camera the game doesn't do all that well. It's a great concept that doesn't live up to its potential.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy isn't original, brilliant or new in any way. You tap and swipe the touch screen of the 3DS to the rhythm of the melodies, like we've done in countless other games before it when this genre was way more popular. This musical puzzle game isn't anything special unless you've played a lot of other Final Fantasy games.

Age of Empires is a perfect example of how a strategy game should look on a DS. The game offers strategil depth, it looks good and has some interesting new features. In all fairness, Civilization Revolution will provide you more strategic gameplay, but Age of Empires is a lot easier to pick up and is at least as good as the one Firaxis made.

"The rabbits can do much more than just play silly games, as Rabbids Go Home proves. Still, the creators didn't manage to create a challenging adventure game, because the game is too repetitive and easy. What remains is a good looking game that will make you laugh more then once, but never really becomes great.

The Tomb Raider Trilogy makes you realise why gaming is actually the best hobby of them all: Because you can sink neck-deep into amazingly large worlds full of adventure and dangers. All three of the games in the trilogy fit in the current game-society and have very diverse gameplay. The transfer to PlayStation 3 is a successful one, and there aren't many games that can offer you this much value for your money.

Tales of Xillia gives you an adventure of many hours, filled to the brim with clichés, a lack of innovation, a familiar style and a combat system that’s 90 percent copied from the previous games in the series. If you add it all up you get one of the best Japanese role-playing games of this generation. Tales of Xillia surprises, even though it doesn’t really do anything surprising.

Fifa 22 struggles with a massive identity-crisis. Does it want to be a realistic football simulation or as spectacular as possible? The result is rather disappointing. A soulless football game in which every game feels like a match for the Johan Cruijff cup: you can win it, but it really isn't about anything at all.
