Rayman: Fiesta Run is absurd, entertaining and an excellent example of an endless runner game. It's fast, challenging and can be quite funny. Ideal to fill up the lost minutes with or just to run off some stress you acquired throughout the day.

Resident Evil Village is more than a worthy sequel to the seventh part. The game cleverly manages to scare players through various gameplay styles. With an imposing game world, effective thrills and a variety of secrets, the game sets a course that we would like to see in future installments.

The strong concept of Destiny is finally really getting some meat on its bones. Destiny 2 offers beautiful environments, an effective but light story and detailed co-op action gameplay.

The new Tomb Raider might be the best one since the original, because it lets go of the classic formula. The reboot gives us a young Lara Croft who ended up in a thriller in a jungle and responds to that like a human made out of flesh and blood. Unfortunately this direction was dropped in the second act, after which they thankfully restore themselves and make good on an adventure that you will not want to end.

It is awesome to play a VR dungeon-crawler with a big budget. The dungeons are visually amazing, filled with puzzles and secrets and they are a joy to play, combined with the exciting combat and bosses. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

The third part of the Samorost series is the most memorable. The magical surrealistic world holds great detail and the amazing soundtrack makes the musical gameplay even better. The puzzles require a unique and creative way of thinking, which sometimes makes it hard to continue playing.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 makes the combination of action rpg and sandbox even better. There are so many building styles and objects to use, it is a game to play endlessly. The only thing we could wish for is better controls.

Atmospheric environments, blissful combat and a compelling story: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity actually does everything right, except for a number of technical drawbacks. Random frame drops and clumsy camerawork keep the spin-off from perfection.

Thirty Flights of Loving is as refreshing as it is alienating. The series of short scenes take you on a bizarre roller coaster ride, on which you unfortunately have little influence.

NBA 2K14 is a smaller step ahead than we’re used to, but still shines when it comes to game modes, controls, animations and atmosphere. Regarding sports games, this is the cream of the crop.

Stardew Valley is a fine, smart farm simulation game. It is slow and it involves a lot of daily tasks, but in Stardew Valley there is something ingenious about those tasks.

Super Mario 3D World is a strong and beautiful sequel to 3D Land, but after the amazing heights of the Galaxy games this console platformer feels somewhat more like a step back: the gameplay doesn't allow for many new elements anymore. Despite that disappointment, 3D World is a varied and balanced adventure where newcomers and veterans alike will find many hours of good old fashioned fun.

You really have to be a car racing fanatic to enjoy Project CARS, but if you do, you will love it. This is a solid pc racesim with loads of content, that is playable on PS4 and Xbox One as a bonus. The menu could have been better.

Superhot is a radical twist on how we experience time. The level design is strong, the shooting action is challenging and the design is elegant. Though there are not too many levels to work with, Superhot is a thought-through and amazing shooter/puzzle game.

The many technical feats that steal the show in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be talked about for a long time to come. The graphic violence will make you want to buy a PlayStation 5. But this crazy journey through dimensions will also delight young and old with a very diverse arsenal of weapons, fun gadgets and many endearing characters.

If there's anything to take away from our previous The Witcher 2-review is that this is an amazing role-playing game. It was one of the most ambitious PC-games of last year, and this is an excellent port.

Deathloop is a bizarre fever-dream that's too fun to wake up from. An absurd, retrofuturistic murder-mystery where you don't solve the murders, but commit them. Leave it to Arkane Studios to make such a surreal world feel real.

The Last of Us Part 1 is an almost exact copy of the original, but according to today's technical standards. Some will see it as a lazy remake with virtually no adjustments, others will be happy that Naughty Dog stays true to the source material. We can argue endlessly about whether the remake is necessary, but at least we don't have to argue about which version of this modern classic is better.

F1 2021 impresses. Whether you're an avid competitor or want to pursue a storytelling career on your own, you'll be given countless opportunities to customize the game. That makes F1 2021 a versatile title. Once on the track, it is still a very solid racing game, suitable for both controllers and (semi) professional racing wheels.

Luftrausers is as much style as it is substance. The retro-appearance and spectacular action complement each other greatly in a hectic arcade shooter with a unique style. The tactical addictions make this a fully fledged game you'll want to keep playing.

Icebreaker breaks the ice for Rovio Stars. Its fundamentals are not unlike Angry Birds and Bad Piggies, which come with wildly addicting and easy to get into puzzle gameplay in Icebreaker. But Viking Voyage is more complete and diverse than those games, because it manages to surprise with new puzzle concepts again and again, even though it's so recognizable.

Rayman goes from 3D to 2D but gains charm and quality in the progress. The hand-drawn levels are beautiful and well animated, the music has rhythm that compliments the gameplay and playing the game with two, three or four players is hectic in a good way.

eFootball PES 2020 is the result of years of experimenting, making mistakes and refining. Both on and off the field this is a phenomenal football game without fuss. The main wishes for PES 2021 are women's football and a defense that is slightly more reliable.
