This game will test your detective skills to the utmost. The art of deduction! Its style is something else and the story is very interesting, but the game will not make things easy for you.

Harmonix paid good attention to what made Rock Band such a success. It fully adapted Rock Band 2 to this knowledge and that's why single player and multiplayer mode gives you the feeling that you're playing one solid game. The game offers much more than its predecessor and even the tracklist (what seemed almost impossible) is even better than the first one. Harmonix has given the fans exactly what they want and has given newcomers a nice starting point.

The crazy awesome puzzles would have been a game in itself, but the philosophical layer on top of it makes The Talos Principle an experience to never ever forget. A very original game, but we would have like the difficulty to go up a bit quicker.

Batman: Arkham Knight is not just the best Batman-game and the best comic book game ever, the game also has one of the most fun open worlds we've ever seen in videogame history. Rocksteady perfected its formula, but did take it a bit too far with the Batmobile.

NBA 2K remains the best basketball series ever thanks to a couple of smart adjustments and an unprecedented presentation of the NBA. If you're willing to practice a lot, you'll probably won't play anything else.

LittleBigPlanet 2 is one of the most charming and complete titles of this generation. It's fun throughout and varied, the mode in which you can make your own levels has expanded greatly compared to the original, and the community has even more ways to act as the real stars of this game.

Super quick, super complete and super cool - there are just not enough words to describe TrackMania Turbo. The action is over the top, easy to learn, hard to master and fun for a long time thanks to the many (multiplayer) options.

Forza 4 bursts with little improvements that work together to lift the racing in this game to the next level. The game offers a more rounded experience with the additions of Autovista and Rivals. The best racing game for Xbox 360.

Age of wonders 3 perfectly simulates that one-more-click feeling. As an action packed turn based RPG it easily keeps you on the edge of your seat. This sensation is strengthened by a beautiful fantasy world and enormous battles. We’ve been struck with a case of national pride.

For the best platform games you still need to go to Nintendo. Yoshi's Woolly World might not be of the same high grade as Super Mario World, but it still is a strong run and jump adventure with an extraordinary cute look and a great co-op mode.

Control is Remedy at its best. With telekinesis as a supernatural twist this time, Control does things we have never seen before in a game. The story is extremely vague and you just have to love that. If you give it a chance, you will be rewarded.

In its fundamentals, Gran Turismo 6 is still the best simulation racing game on consoles. The visuals bring the game to life, but the audiovisual cracks in the ceiling are becoming noticeable. If you can accept certain limitations, as well as the fact that the game will need a few updates, you'll keep your PlayStation 3 plugged in longer than you might've thought.

If a great adventure is what you’re looking for, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag can be easily recommended. It’s a pleasure to discover troubled waters and bays by ship, and it’s easy to get lost in the many things to do. All the while, the returning sneaking and fighting still manages to captivate. Getting somewhat annoyed by the excessive hand-holding, the limited artificial intelligence and during climbing it isn’t uncommon.

Tales is a classic JRPG, with generic graphics but a fine anime style. The story is rich, the characters are interesting and the only thing we dislike about it is the backtracking that is often needed.

Pro Evo 2016 is without a doubt the best soccer simulator we have ever played. That special feeling you get when playing soccer, is exactly what you will get when playing this game. The menu's are a bit messy, but even so this game deserves to be in your collection.

Monument Valley lures in all kinds of players with beautiful, artsy levels with a great game world. In that world M.C. Escher's laws of nature reign: floors are ceilings and walls are doors. Monument' Valley is a fairytale with perspective.

A gorgeous setting, interesting story and very strong multiplayer: The Division is one of the big surprises of 2016. The controls are not what we would like them to be and the boss fights could be more original, but the rest of it is simply excellent, especially when playing with others.

Burial at Sea Episode 2 is much better than Episode 1. The underdeveloped sneaking function now is a fully featured gameplay element. And where Episode 1 mostly addressed the Infinite-fans, Episode 2 turns out to be a hoot for lovers of the original BioShock.

Reaper of Souls is actually the patch that fans have been waiting for since they first finished Diablo 3. Despite it only has one new chapter, it's been filled to the brim with cool new elements. Prey seems like an ode to Bioshock more than it feels like a retelling of Prey 2006, but it unfolds as a layered and thought through sci-fi game that invites gamers to play tactically. Talos-1 is amazing when it comes to level-design and detail.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is an excellent platformer with an original twist. Being able to switch between a 'good' and 'bad' version of the game's world make for challenging puzzles and a test of your in-game dexterity. The amazing soundtrack and visuals complete the package and provide it with a great atmosphere. We just wish it was a bit longer.
