Rockstar has made only one mistake: keeping the minigames of the DS version. Without the stylus-support they aren’t nearly as fun. But the game is still a classic after half a year of waiting and the graphics and sound have improved a lot. A lovely distraction to the GTA-games on consoles.- Gamer.nl

All the experience Bungie earned with the Halo-series are used here to pull Reach to a higher plan. This game will never have the same impact as the original Halo, but that doesn't take away the fact that Reach is the best Halo-game. Ever.- Gamer.nl

With its appealing looks and tight design, Ridiculous Fishing feels like something unique, but it’s more than that. The game’s concept allows for a great pace of play, while retaining a perfect balance and sharp gameplay. It reaches beyond the ridiculous looking content and blossoms into one of the best mobile games of recent memory.- Gamer.nl

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 really impresses as a remaster. As a fan of the original, I can hardly believe that everything comes out so well. This game feels just like it did then. At the same time, it is great how "faithful" the innovations of Vicarious Visions feel. It's as if the new park goals have always been there. The loading times are a bit long, the UI is not great and the challenge system is initially confusing. But annoyance is not an option. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is the type of remaster for which the remaster was invented.- Gamer.nl

The Division 2 is a great addition to the franchise. It's not just very challenging, it gives that great feeling of accomplishment when you finally get the mission done. The endgame could have been a bit better though.- Gamer.nl

Bravely Default is the best Final Fantasy game since part nine. Traditional JRPG-elements are perfectly combined with good new additions in the combat system. Bravery Default also utilizes the 3DS's capabilities quite well.- Gamer.nl

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is moving, hilarious, and an impressive immersion into the life of a medieval person. The game world is breathtaking, its characters are all memorable, the game is full of fantastic details, and on top of that, it offers a great sense of progression. While Kingdom Come 1 was still a rough cult hit, its sequel proves to be one of the best RPGs of this console generation.- Gamer.nl

The Evil Within is a true return to form. Not just for Shinji Mikami, but for the whole survival horror genre this is a great title. Anyone that grew up with games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill will be enjoying this game to the fullest.- Gamer.nl

At 343 Industries a fresh and new team of developers faced a disheartening task: matching the image of ex-Halo developer Bungie, as well as the quality of their games. Well, they did it. The new setting speaks volumes, the multiplayer is as addictive as ever and the Halo-universe has never looked this good. The launch of Halo 4 doesn't just provide us with an amazing game, but also with a new top-notch developer. The future of Halo is bright in their hands.- Gamer.nl

Forza Horizon 4 might be a bit conservative. Apart from the continuously changing seasons and the amazing British landscapes, you could call this a new version of Forza Horizon 3.- Gamer.nl

The relationship between the four friends is the heart of an amazing adventure. The beautiful world with all its exciting secrets is so lovely to explore. The story might often be difficult to understand, the old-school Final Fantasy touch is back and that is awesome.- Gamer.nl

Chinatown Wars is Grand Theft Auto as it should be on a handheld. Missions are relatively short, you can always save and the point of view gives you that classical feeling. Even the use of the stylus feels like a true addition to the gameplay. And we haven't even talked about the great multiplayer, tons of details and the new 'drug-trading' mode. It's obvious that GTA: Chinatown Wars keeps the franchise going in pocket size.- Gamer.nl

The story and world of Bayonetta don’t make sense in any way, but that’s the point. It’s a chain of strange, spectacular moments in incoherent surroundings. It’s a parody of other action games, but it also sets the new standard for those same games. It’s that good.- Gamer.nl

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is difficult and therefore a game for die-hards. It is also a real pleasure from start to finish. The pace is delightful, the story captivating, the combat is fantastic, customizing your mech is satisfying, and audiovisually, Armored Core 6 manages to impress. The game still has some balance issues at the time of writing. That is why the level of difficulty is erratic, but FromSoftware is expected to rectify that.- Gamer.nl

The game that showed us what survival horror really means is still enticing in HD. It is freaky, it is frustrating and it is good. The mechanics of the original PlayStation version are still intact and thanks to better graphics and new voice acting this game is also worth while for newcomers.- Gamer.nl

The cooperation between developer Team Bondi and publisher Rockstar led to an amazing final product, in which characters and plot twists take centre stage, with MotionScan as the director. Of course it includes action in the form of fire fights and chase sequences, but L.A. Noire should be played for its atmosphere, many intrigues and the fact that you can get wonderfully caught up in that web.- Gamer.nl
