Kaos Studios manage to offer an intense campaign with several memorable moments in what seems to be a very faithfully-realized urban American environment. Unfortunately, the campaign easily ends in less than five hours, making it hard to recommend it to anyone who is not interested in the competitive multiplayer portion of the game.- GameOver.gr

Strangely enough, Chronicles of the Wolf takes inspiration from Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, arguably the weakest 2D entry in the series. It’s not much of a surprise, then, that the map design falls short of the genre’s best, requiring a lot of tiring backtracking, even by Metroidvania standards. The pixel art is certainly charming, but overall this is not quite a memorable ode to a legendary series.- GameOver.gr

The return of Outcast unfortunately seems to be quite a bit stuck to the past. It's an open world experience akin to something Ubisoft would develop but without a similar big budget veil that could cover (to some extent) the repetitive quest structure and derivative gunplay.- GameOver.gr

The looks of Trek to Yomi certainly offer a nice homage to the 50s Japanese cinema. Alas, its gameplay is disappointingly simplistic from the non-existent platforming to the utterly repetitive action.- GameOver.gr

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is full of content and a joyful multiplayer to compete with your friends, but its beauty seems to be matched only by its insane difficulty.- GameOver.gr

The combat is visceral and perfectly fine in total, and the sense of accomplishment when defeating a boss is always high. Nevertheless, Gods Will Fall is one of the most basic roguelikes with almost non-existent randomization, having a hard time to convince us to come back after the unavoidable numerous defeats.- GameOver.gr

Akane is a great package of enjoyable gameplay and solid mechanics -especially as a small studio’s first try- but the lack of content in all of its aspects won’t take long to end up as a repetitive experience.- GameOver.gr

Since Landflix Odyssey picks its setting from TV series, we can easily say that if it was a show, it would definitely be a variety show, based on its rich and colorful new ideas that change with every new level. It does only one thing wrong, but sadly, its the most important thing.- GameOver.gr

The Bullet Cam and some of the missions still hold up pretty good today, but, overall, Sniper Elite V2 shows its old age, an age that the remastering was not able to take back.- GameOver.gr

An interesting b-movie inspired horror game that offers a nice atmosphere, but lacks a certain identity to inspire the player.- GameOver.gr

Through a stunning revival of Victorian London, but also a damaged A.I. and stripped down gameplay mechanisms, Syndicate denies its Assassin’s Creed legacy and adds a boring chapter that just has to be played to move to the next one. No back story, no characters, no plot whatsoever. Unity failed to bring the series back to its trail, but at least tried. Syndicate doesn’t even bother.- GameOver.gr

Milky Way Prince: The Vampire Star portrays the problems of a relationship with strong visuals and excellent musical features. However, it ignores what really makes a visual novel stand out.- GameOver.gr

Ruggnar brought us back to the era of Amiga and Amstrad, with a game that would sit nicely alongside Rick Dangerous, albeit providing a much easier experience. Be that as it may it seems as if it’s a shareware version of a full version game which, alas, doesn’t exist.- GameOver.gr

The problem with State of Decay 2 is that it fails to go steps beyond what the first game achieved. It is a given that fans of State of Decay will surely have a good time, especially when playing with friends (and when some of the technical issues will be addressed), but overall Undead Labs’ new game fails to impress.- GameOver.gr

Unfortunately, Nobody Saves the World is inferior to the studio’s Guacamelee! games. Using the different forms seems to be a bit derivative and the whole experience depends in completing myriads of small tasks, which at some point resembles a shopping list. It’s still a fun experience, thanks to its humour and lively visuals but this feeling is constantly intertwined with that of a chore.- GameOver.gr

Destruction AllStars is a fun multiplayer game, but the lack of content and some questionable monetization decisions prevent us from recommending it, especially if we consider that it is a full-priced game. On the other hand, as a free PS Plus game it makes perfect sense, and we hope that Sony makes it a permanent addition to the PS Plus Collection.- GameOver.gr

Warmind is by far a better expansion than the previous one but, like its predecessor, the content it provides is not enough to bring back the lost player base. It has some strong points in the form of Escalation Protocol, Collectibles and a new Raid Lair, but soon enough the players will run out of incentives to play again. Both the base game and the expansion lack in meaningful replayability and Warmind does little to nothing to address this issue.- GameOver.gr

The well-made shooting part of Esse Proxy could have led to a memorable top-down shooter, in the vein of Hotline Miami, if it had better level design, if the story made any sense at all and if its overall design had anything memorable at all. These are a lot of "ifs" though to let this game stand out.- GameOver.gr

Whoever had experience with any of the main Far Cry games since Far Cry 3 and afterwards will know exactly what to expect from here. Same forts to conquer, same guns to use, same abilities to utilize, same quest design, same everything albeit in the setting of Yara (read "fictionalized Cuba").- GameOver.gr

ANNO: Mutationem definitely has its charm in its niche aesthetic. The amalgamation of 3D environments with the 2D sprites works quite well with the cyberpunk setting, evoking a pleasant PS One feeling. It’s a shame then that the story is derivative and nonsensical in many ways. It doesn’t help that the action is borderline generic albeit there is a commendable effort for an expansive bestiary of regular mobs and bosses.- GameOver.gr

The sandbox approach in the winter extreme sports genre is quite a fresh and bold idea, but Steep, at the time being, is really rough around the edges. The sequel will surely be a great game, as long as it sets a goal for the player, more diversity in the challenges and less microtransactions.- GameOver.gr

GTA V is a milestone in gaming -there's no doubt about that. If you are one of the few who haven't played it yet this is the best edition you could possibly get, but for everyone else there's really nothing here to justify even the low price point Rockstar is asking for.- GameOver.gr

Nba Playgrounds tries to revitalize the arcade basketball genre and brings many interesting and fresh gameplay ideas to the table, but fails to strike the balance between the conflicting gameplay mechanics. It still misses many key online features (like inviting a friend to play against) and the UI is unintuitive, but on the bright side Saber shows eagerness to rectify the wrongs.- GameOver.gr
