Night At the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian would have been easily recommendable if it were a downloadable game with a decent pricetag. As it stands, it’s merely a solid rental unless you’re an absolute fanatic for all things Ben Stiller.

Broken Steel certainly changes the game for the better and is a must buy for all Fallout 3 owners. When all is said and done, gamers wishing to relive the glory days of wholesome, 64-bit goodness will want to download and enjoy Banjo-Tooie; in reality, most will already have done so. On the flip side, the modern gamer wishing to see what all the fuss about Banjo and his pal Kazooie is will be disappointed, as they will go in expecting something that is amazing and get something that was amazing… back at the turn of the century.

Crystal Defenders R1 is a real disappointment for a number of reasons. The Ivalice World is one of the great aspects of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy series and this game does absolutely nothing to add to that world. The limited amount of maps, units and challenge added to the fact that this is only the first part of a larger game only strengthen the reasons not to spend 800 Wii Points.

Outrun Online Arcade doesn’t offer a whole lot of a different experience from recent Outrun games. The multiplayer is a bit of a mixed bag, but at 10 dollars (or 800 Microsoft Points) it’s a great arcade experience that can be a whole lot of fun.

Demigod is one of those games which surprised the hell out of me in many ways. From the overall presentation, the graphics and audio and the very fun and addictive gameplay, Demigod is one of the best PC games this year and is a shining example of how great game developers can continue to evolve old ideas into bigger and better games. This is a must buy for strategy fans looking for something new.

Alas if you are expecting a World War II version of H.A.W.X. or even just a good action flight sim to play on your PSP you are out of luck. With almost everything in the game so poorly designed and implemented I was left wondering how the game was published in this sorry state. Not a rental and certainly not a buy, just stay away from this and keep walking.

The multiplayer modes really shine and cause so much laughter that everyone wanted to get in a turn just to see what was so funny. The lack of online multiplayer is a disappointment but for a budget title it is understandable and acceptable. You are in for the time of your life when you have friends to play along. It’s value far surpasses its meager cost.

The original Puzzle Quest set the bar so high for Galactrix it is almost unfair to compare the two but in the end you must. If you can get past the “dumbed” down gameplay this is actually a fun and lengthy worthwhile gaming experience which most puzzle fans and Role Playing Gamers will enjoy. If I had to recommend the Windows PC or Xbox Live Arcade version of the game I would say go with the Xbox Live Arcade version because it just feels better and seems to be more fun for me even the second time through the game.

Ninja Blade is an interesting game but no different from what we’ve seen in the past. It actually brings many key elements together from other action franchises into one action frenzied game. Between the enjoyable hack and slash and the outrageous number of quick-time events, there’s a game that will make you spend a few quality hours until you’re definitely done with it.

Now, if you are a fan of turn based strategy gaming then this is the game for you, especially if you were a fan of Fantasy Wars. This is fun and it is even a better game than Fantasy Wars was so fans of Turn Based Strategy games should buy this, but if you are un-sure a game like this is something you will enjoy then wait for the demo or download the demo for Fantasy Wars and see if this type of game appeals to you.

The concept behind Deep Silver’s Professor Heinz Wolff’s Gravity is good on paper but it was poorly executed in every possible way. There are some salvageable parts the game, just not enough to warrant any sort of purchase.
