It’s not hard to see that Patapon 2 is an incredible game that both fans of the first and PSP owners in general should own. I will admit that the multiplayer aspect of the game is the weakest part, but that’s only because it of its limited appeal. Other than that, the game manages to keep everything that was good about the first and build upon it.- GameFocus

Night At the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian would have been easily recommendable if it were a downloadable game with a decent pricetag. As it stands, it’s merely a solid rental unless you’re an absolute fanatic for all things Ben Stiller.- GameFocus

Overall, The Last Resort is a good episode on its own, but weaker when compared to Fright of the Bumble Bees. Considering how you can only buy the game as a bundle on the PC, you have already paid for the experience. If you tried the demo of the first episode and still needed time to decide, I don’t believe this will change your mind.- GameFocus

Broken Steel certainly changes the game for the better and is a must buy for all Fallout 3 owners. Even the subtle changes to normal characters in the Wasteland are noticeable such as those slackers in Megaton who complain about the water. Bottom Line is that there is much to explore, must to experience and much to disintegrate in the game and this is why the final score is so high for the expansion.- GameFocus

Despite the absence of the bongos, this Wii version of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is fun, charming and will sure give you the most interesting bang for your buck on a Wii game. Instead of buying crappy third party compilation games, add this one to your Wii collection…yes even if you’re still playing with the GameCube version.- GameFocus

X-Men Origins: Wolverine delivers exceptionally on a very simple concept: an M Rated slice and dice adventure starring Wolverine that follows the plot of the movie. It never claims to be anything deeper than that, and in a way, that’s why it succeeds.- GameFocus

The strength of this game is the visceral experience. It all feels very real and can be very tense, much like the enjoyable tension you feel in a good scary movie. This is all very good, but some poor choices in game design sometimes pull you out of the experience which is not so good.- GameFocus

When all is said and done, gamers wishing to relive the glory days of wholesome, 64-bit goodness will want to download and enjoy Banjo-Tooie; in reality, most will already have done so. On the flip side, the modern gamer wishing to see what all the fuss about Banjo and his pal Kazooie is will be disappointed, as they will go in expecting something that is amazing and get something that was amazing… back at the turn of the century.- GameFocus

If you are a fan of the series you’ve already dropped the MS points and are battling it out against other others. The tough to master controls and the higher than expected cost will detract potential players and that should not be the case. Once you get a hang of the dual-analog controls or tweak them to your liking, you will have a hard time putting this game down. If you never got around to playing this in the arcades or never owned a Dreamcast, this is now your chance.- GameFocus

As stated before, portable Dynasty Warriors fans who have wanted to be able to play with their friends will be extremely satisfied with what Strikeforce offers and will be able to overlook the obvious deficiencies. While it might work for fans, new people looking and hoping that this would be the perfect title to jump into the series will be utterly disappointed.- GameFocus

Lode Runner is a faithful and well constructed platform puzzler remake. It retains the fun, speed, and poor AI of the original while injecting some life into it with new obstacles. It really is a lot of fun and there is a lot of gameplay to be enjoyed on your own or online.- GameFocus

If you are a fan of Excitetruck for the Nintendo Wii then this is a no brainer must buy for you and if you are unfamiliar with the Excite series, this is simply the best off road arcade action racing game out there, including those on the other two consoles. If you own a Wii, then you should own this.- GameFocus

Crystal Defenders R1 is a real disappointment for a number of reasons. The Ivalice World is one of the great aspects of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy series and this game does absolutely nothing to add to that world. The limited amount of maps, units and challenge added to the fact that this is only the first part of a larger game only strengthen the reasons not to spend 800 Wii Points.- GameFocus

Outrun Online Arcade doesn’t offer a whole lot of a different experience from recent Outrun games. The multiplayer is a bit of a mixed bag, but at 10 dollars (or 800 Microsoft Points) it’s a great arcade experience that can be a whole lot of fun.- GameFocus

Demigod is one of those games which surprised the hell out of me in many ways. From the overall presentation, the graphics and audio and the very fun and addictive gameplay, Demigod is one of the best PC games this year and is a shining example of how great game developers can continue to evolve old ideas into bigger and better games. This is a must buy for strategy fans looking for something new.- GameFocus

Alas if you are expecting a World War II version of H.A.W.X. or even just a good action flight sim to play on your PSP you are out of luck. With almost everything in the game so poorly designed and implemented I was left wondering how the game was published in this sorry state. Not a rental and certainly not a buy, just stay away from this and keep walking.- GameFocus

Single player gets old after about an 30 to 40 minutes a but with friends, this game is unstoppable. The multiplayer modes really shine and cause so much laughter that everyone wanted to get in a turn just to see what was so funny. The lack of online multiplayer is a disappointment but for a budget title it is understandable and acceptable. You are in for the time of your life when you have friends to play along. It’s value far surpasses its meager cost.- GameFocus

Overall, Flock will draw players in with its cutesy and whimsical world. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you liked the idea of building your own levels in LittleBigPlanet and the adorable world of The Maw, you’ll enjoy the marriage of the two here. But at $14.99, it might seem a little pricey for a downloadable title.- GameFocus

The original Puzzle Quest set the bar so high for Galactrix it is almost unfair to compare the two but in the end you must. If you can get past the “dumbed” down gameplay this is actually a fun and lengthy worthwhile gaming experience which most puzzle fans and Role Playing Gamers will enjoy. If I had to recommend the Windows PC or Xbox Live Arcade version of the game I would say go with the Xbox Live Arcade version because it just feels better and seems to be more fun for me even the second time through the game.- GameFocus

The Godfather 2 is a great game in a lousy shell. If EA turned around and made the third entry in this series into a competent sandbox shooter and improved on the Don’s View mode, making it more useful and adding more depth to it, dropping the Godfather movie tie-ins, it would be a lot easier to recommend. As it stands now, you can find games that do what this game tries to do a lot better.- GameFocus

Ninja Blade is an interesting game but no different from what we’ve seen in the past. It actually brings many key elements together from other action franchises into one action frenzied game. Between the enjoyable hack and slash and the outrageous number of quick-time events, there’s a game that will make you spend a few quality hours until you’re definitely done with it.- GameFocus

Now, if you are a fan of turn based strategy gaming then this is the game for you, especially if you were a fan of Fantasy Wars. This is fun and it is even a better game than Fantasy Wars was so fans of Turn Based Strategy games should buy this, but if you are un-sure a game like this is something you will enjoy then wait for the demo or download the demo for Fantasy Wars and see if this type of game appeals to you.- GameFocus

The concept behind Deep Silver’s Professor Heinz Wolff’s Gravity is good on paper but it was poorly executed in every possible way. There are some salvageable parts the game, just not enough to warrant any sort of purchase. If you’re still tempted to try this one out, I can only recommend renting the Wii version as the controls make it the only one worth playing.- GameFocus

Equilibrio isn’t a game that will appeal to everyone. The lacking production values and overly simplistic controls will more than likely turn off people who have played the bigger names that share its premise. However, if you’re looking for a quirky and interesting title that utilizes balance board peripheral and does it right, for 500 Wii Points, you really can’t go wrong.- GameFocus
