If it’s the exotic locations and fun at high-speeds that you are looking in your PSP racer and shedding an additional $10 isn’t an issue, we suggest you go for Motorstorm: Artic Edge. There are worst racers for the PSP out there but in a year where Gran Turismo, NFS Shift and Motorstorm: Artic Edge stand out in their own way, DiRT 2 collects the dust. No matter how you shake it, DiRT 2 makes little baby Jesus cry.- GameFocus

A good concept that is fun to play to a point and in the end you probably will not play this game a second time. Buy it if you are not going to pick it apart for no reason or stay away if most First Person Games fail to even excite you.- GameFocus

I never would have expected such as basic game as “Tower Defense” to be given such a great make over with some gameplay tweaks and be such a worthwhile and addictive game. While you can play a very basic version of this type of game on thousands of websites, if you enjoy playing them this is one of the few commercial ones that is worth your gaming dollar.- GameFocus

Unfortunately, I suspect that the initial impressions of Section 8 will not be positive for many due to the slightly odd setup system, fairly complex character customization system, muddy controls and bland single player campaign. This is fair to a certain extent as all of these are valid issues but once you become accustomed to the game it really does offer an awful lot of value.- GameFocus

Thankfully, the good controls and fantastic graphics still make this a game worth playing. But again, the lack of solid single-player options will be the difference between picking up this game or sticking to last year’s SoulCalibur IV.- GameFocus

Let’s put it this way: if you bought World Tour and ended up disappointed, the chances that the same thing will happen to you again are incredibly thin. I’m not afraid to say that Guitar Hero 5 is exactly what World Tour should have been in the first place.- GameFocus

If you are into playing a purely action based MMORPG then this is one you should look at. But if you are into more traditional MMORPG games, such as World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, Age of Conan, etc. then you should look elsewhere. This feels more like a console action hero game than a standard MMO which is not a bad thing but I cannot say go out and buy it without putting down this one caveat.- GameFocus

It’s hard to tell if Koei and W-Force are simply trying to cash in on gullible gamers or that they really do enough Focus Testing before releasing their titles. Regardless of how you look at it, there isn’t enough here to warrant any fan of the series to pick this up.- GameFocus

Watchmen: The End is Nigh Part 2 (and Part 1) could only be enjoyed by fans of either the book or movie. I don’t see how someone who isn’t remotely knowledgeable of Watchmen could enjoy these games, especially Part 2.- GameFocus

NBA 2K10: Draft Combine is a very good idea but Visual Concepts needs to put more work in there. The unfair grading system and the inconsistent A.I makes the game a very difficult one to enjoy. However, every first effort needs to be taken into perspective. There’s a lot of things that could be done for the future if 2K are willing to retry the experiment again next year because like I said it earlier, this could really redefine playing sports games forever.- GameFocus

The grim set-up mixed an incredible voice-over work and great storytelling makes of Batman: Arkham Asylum, not only the best Batman game ever published but also the best comic-book/superhero videogame so far and a very serious “Game of the Year” contender.- GameFocus

Batman: Arkham Asylum can be easily compared to classic games like Eternal Darkness and Bioshock, a game that no one expected to be good and turned out to be one the most impressive, immersive and breathtaking games ever released. The grim set-up mixed an incredible voice-over work and great storytelling makes of Batman: Arkham Asylum, not only the best Batman game ever published but also the best comic-book/superhero videogame so far and a very serious “Game of the Year” contender.- GameFocus

Whether you’re a Final Fantasy fanatic or a newcomer to the series, Dissidia is a wonderful fighter/RPG hybrid. The combat system is engaging while the RPG infrastructure is massive, deep and rewarding.- GameFocus

There are not many games for the Nintendo Wii with this much overall value packed into one tight package. All three games are amazing even if a couple of them are a few years old. This is a must buy for Wii owners who own any of the games and certainly a must buy for those gamers who have yet to dive into the Metroid Prime universe.- GameFocus

If there was ever an example needed to prove the point that games can not only be entertaining but educational at the same time, the Professor Layton series is without a doubt the best choice to show. There is certainly something for everyone with a fantastic story, a plenty of mystery and enough to really stimulate the brain.- GameFocus

While the classic Metroid gameplay might not appeal to a few gamers, this new 2.5D graphic twist with some excellent new gameplay choices we have an instant classic. If the 1200 MS (15$) point price scares you or even turns you off don’t let it, this is worth every penny and more.- GameFocus

Despite the few complaints I have about Wolfenstein, particularly the dated graphics and terrible A.I., when it comes right down to core gameplay it is a fun, solid and satisfying FPS that will appeal to those looking for a straight up shooter with few bells and whistles.- GameFocus

Osmos is a very good game in its class. The music, the idea and gameplay and pleasing graphics all make this a complete package for any fan of ambient/casual games. Considering the price point is reasonable, and there is a decent amount of replay value, Osmos is a good option to buy and enjoy.- GameFocus

There’s no such game as “Perfect” but Madden NFL 10 and the development team over at EA Tiburon continues to offer the greatest football experience year after year. The Online Franchise and the possibility to play with a friend online are welcomed additions and the overall product is a must have for any Madden hardcore fan out there.- GameFocus

What hurts the game the most is without a doubt the horrible commentary. It is extremely disappointing for a game like this, EA Sport’s signature title, to have so many problems in the sound department. It’s the one thing that prevents this game from being a solid purchase. If you only own a Wii and need to play a football game this season, then by all means go with Madden NFL 10. On the other hand, if you have a choice, I would strongly recommend buying the game on a different console.- GameFocus

It may not be the most diverse package and it certainly won’t convert the non-believers, but for those who have fond memories of insane Wolverine and Spiderman and Ryu v. Cyclops and Cable and Sentinel bouts, it’s the same great taste you’ve enjoyed for years. And on top of that, it’s way cheaper to buy a copy of this download than any other method of picking up this game.- GameFocus

Beyond the lame fact you can only trade levels with friends, who ever thought of that idiotic idea needs to get a lobotomy, the game is a great addition to Xbox Live Arcade. Solid gameplay with great graphics, audio and a wicked level editor this is one game you will have a ton of trouble putting down the controller once you start playing. A must buy for sure.- GameFocus
