It’s clear that Dragon Age: Origins was built with the PC in mind but regardless of that fact, a fantastic story, great cast of characters and expansive world still make this an incredible experience. For those who just want to get into a bloody battle and spend a long period of time enjoying it, they will most certainly not be disappointed.

For a game that Activision have said they want to stand on its own, it just doesn’t seem to change the formula enough to make it appeal to people who’ve played other games in the series. At least not yet, anyway. Really, this is just a gussied-up track pack for the casual market. That’s not to say that it isn’t a fun experience, it’s just certainly not a new one.

For the first Wii-specific racer by EA, Need for Speed Nitro is a step in the right direction. The only major factors that hold it back from absolute greatness are the repetitive career mode and lack of online play.

A surprisingly fun romp from start to finish, Rabbids Go Home is a unique experience that takes what is usually the tedious task of collecting, and makes it entirely fun. If you own a Wii and love to laugh, you’ll definitely want to give these wacky Rabbids a shot.

Even though the gameplay doesn’t re-invent anything and the visuals aren’t as impressive as they once were, Rockstar manages to give you so much for such a little price that seeing past the little nuisances won’t be a difficult task. Both The Ballad of Gay Tony and the standalone disc Episodes from Liberty City are great expansions and we can’t do otherwise than recommend.

By no means is Midnight Carnival a bad game. The problems with it lie in the fact that it is just too difficult to be enjoyed by a wide audience. The new challenge, interesting multiplayer and the incentives brought with a world-wide leader-board are perfect additions for long time fans. The extremely difficult challenge and frustration most people will have with nearly every level will only give newcomers the wrong impression on what this series is actually about.

While the game lacks a bit of variety in terms of game modes, Inferno Pool is definitely worth checking out not only because of its price tag but also because of its unique and unconventional presentation. If you are in Europe and looking for an original and fun pool game to play, this game will do the trick. North American players will have a blast when this game releases “soon” on PSN and XBLA.

Compared to Activision’s other music game franchise, DJ Hero isn’t for everyone since it targets a small specific group of people/gamers: those who have a disc jockey background or those who always dreamt to be one. Regardless of this, we have to applaud Activision’s willingness and audaciousness to introduce a new product. DJ Hero deserves a serious look.

If you are a racing game fan then you will have to have this game in your library for the sheer amount of content and community aspects to the game. Even just the average single player gamer who enjoys racing will find hundreds of hours of enjoyment here with this game and its huge potential for future growth. Run and buy this game on day one and enjoy it.

For fans of the series or for anyone who enjoys a good action platformer, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is an absolute must own.

Aside from the five new cases and a few technical improvements, this new CSI game doesn’t offer a whole lot of changes but remains an interesting title to check out in between other games. Just don’t expect to be blown away by it. If you can keep your expectations low you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

It’s clear that MotorStorm: Arctic Edge is merely just another PSP to PS2 port geared at appealing to gamers who might not own Sony’s portable system. For a PS2 racer, this is still a solid title worth your cash and the controls certainly make each race a lot easier and more enjoyable.

If you already have played the DS version to death, getting the PSP version may not be a good idea since it’s basically the same game only with a few but noticeable improvements. Now, if you haven’t bought or played the DS version, there’s no way you can pass on what is being offered here. GTA Chinatown Wars for the PSP is a great game that deserves your attention and a place in your collection.

Like I’ve stated earlier, someone who hasn’t bought the first Lips game won’t see anything wrong with it. As for the others even though the game got a few nifty additions and changes, Lips: Number One Hits will be an extreme disappointment. If you own the first Lips game and looking to buy Lips: Number One Hits, take a point out of the final score.
