If you’re new to the series and are looking for a good point to dive in, this is definitely it. The challenge is relatively the same as the previous offering but with Skate 2 you’ll be getting a more complete experience. For veterans, you’ll probably still be hooked thanks to the new features, but you won’t be able to shake the feeling that a bit more time could have been spent in order to make the game just that much better.- GameFocus

The Maw might be short but it’s one of the more charming titles that is available on Arcade. Even at 800 Microsoft points (ten dollars), the graphic quality, entertainment and the comedic styling’s of Twisted Pixel make this game worth every point.- GameFocus

If you are a gamer who likes their PSP (and what is not to love) then this action role playing title is for you and is a must buy. Especially if the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive Star Ocean: The Last Hope interests you then find out why the series is loved by the older gamer who grew up on the original games.- GameFocus

While the 3D facelift is nice and the stages are extremely cute, the lack of level variety and short gameplay may have you forgetting about it in the long run.- GameFocus

A weekend rental at best due to the game being wildly unbalanced and not a fun game but just a mediocre title. If it is patched and it’s balancing and multiplayer issues are addressed it might be worth a second look. Hopefully EA will return to the fold and give us another great game like Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, an awesome Role Playing Game that I would love to see a similar game released this generation.- GameFocus

Moon is proof that first person shooters can work successfully on the DS. Yes, it will take most gamers some time to get used to using a stylus to aim, but once you do, you’ll wish that more developers would follow suit.- GameFocus

I absolutely enjoyed playing through Cuboid. Once you get started, don’t be surprised if you lose track of time or want to replay certain mazes because you know you can complete it in less moves. The game is challenging but you’ll never feel cheated. So, if you are looking for a fun game that will test you and stimulate your brain, then you cannot go wrong with giving Cuboid a try.- GameFocus

This game would have fared better on the PSP, or DS for a portable solution at the doctor’s office (which I genuinely do hope they consider this). Even a version on the Wii or PC would have been preferable, it doesn’t seem to match the PSN setting.- GameFocus

Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos will likely only be enjoyed by a very select few, and even they will likely have a hard time swallowing the price tag here. While finding every object in the game can be slightly addictive, there just isn’t enough here to warrant a look if you’re not a huge fan of the hidden object genre.- GameFocus

Rise of the Argonauts will give you some hours of fun and will even teach a thing or two about Greek mythology but that weird feeling of unfinished business and awkwardness will keep popping up during your quest. If you can bypass these annoyances, you will find some way to appreciate the work and the effort put on this game by the developer to please those “I want innovation but not that innovative” whiny gamers. Why this reminds me of Too Human all of a sudden?- GameFocus

I never would have expected such as basic game as “Tower Defense” to be given such a great make over with some gameplay tweaks and be such a worth while and addictive game. While you can play a very basic version of this type of game on thousands of websites, if you enjoy playing them this is the only commercial one that is worth your gaming dollar.- GameFocus

The good in the game is the price and how casual it is for gamers who want just a nice simple arcade title with pirates and while the game could be better on all fronts it is a fun experience in short bursts.- GameFocus

In the end, your enjoyment of Söldner-X will lie solely on how fond you are of Shoot-em-ups. Those unfamiliar with side-scrolling shooters will be put off by the game’s difficulty while veterans may not experience anything new to make this game stand out from other similar titles.- GameFocus

Prince of Persia: The Fallen King is an ambitious but ultimately unimpressive platformer. Its interesting control scheme can be very fun and immersive when everything is running smoothly, but as soon as those moments end and frustration sets in the game ceases to be fun.- GameFocus

Ubisoft Montréal took an enormous risk by taking a whole new direction with this new Prince of Persia. Although the final product could have included greater difficulty and more emphasis on combat for the non-casual crowd; we can safely say that the risk was indeed worth it.- GameFocus

Even though we have had our share of Street Fighter remakes over the past 15 years, this revamped version remains the most interesting of all. If you haven’t bought a downloadable fighting game yet, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix might be the one to get but don’t expect a whole lot of changes besides improved visuals and a few balanced gameplay elements.- GameFocus

You don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for a US SNES version on eBay, import a Super Famicom and game from Japan or play the weaker PSOne version. This game is not only one of the best games ever made, but one of the best DS games available right now that every DS and RPG fan should have in their collection.- GameFocus

The game is stunning, the sound is great … some aspects worked so well but then a few glaring flaws popped up. A few more months in development and this game would have received my highest praise. But this is still a very solid game to share with those young gamers close to your heart.- GameFocus

There’s a little something for everyone in Easy Golf. Casual players both young and old will find the game to be graphically appealing and easy to pick up and enjoy, but there’s an audience here for hardcore gamers as well. The player created courses can bring a challenge to this game. While a little pricier than other XNA titles, be assured this is a game that is overflowing with features and content that goes beyond what many Xbox Live Arcade titles offer at the same price, giving players a full Arcade-style golf title for their money.- GameFocus

Even if Skate It isn’t the perfect skateboarding game, EA has delivered a solid game on a system that definitely needs innovation and something else than just dumb mini-games. While the game has a daunting learning curve and some average graphics, the game is worth checking out as it will find a nice and warm place in your Wii game collection.- GameFocus

This is more of an open, sandbox game with no consequences for doing things your way. Regardless of the length of time you play each session, you’ll find yourself pulled back to the game as soon as you switch to something else. This is one little XBLA game that is definitely worth 800 Microsoft Points ($10).- GameFocus

If you’re an Alone in the Dark fan and you have the two consoles, the PS3 is definitely worth picking up. But we strongly think that the game remains a good rental since once you’re done with the game, the interest to replay it again won’t be present. But please, pick up the PS3 version.- GameFocus

Ultimate Band does have some great features, that really make the game interesting. However, interesting doesn’t necessarily make it fun. Control issues and the lack of a mic for the frontman position kill some of the potential, and the squeaky-clean feel of the story will put off veterans of other series’ out there.- GameFocus

Judgment is by no means terrible, just mediocre. It’s as if someone was reading "Making Fighting Games for Dummies", and literally followed the instructions step by step, without thinking about ways to make it something more. Considering the history of the series, there’s so much that could have been done, and just wasn’t.- GameFocus
