Problems with the plot, damage balancing, and the awkward grappling hook are faults that I can’t ignore though. However, Lost Planet 2’s does campaign offer some unforgettable moments and great teamwork opportunities, provided good group of gamers to play with.

MySims Racing might not be the top kart racer on the Wii, but it’s deep customization and solid racing definitely make it worth a look. If you’ve played out Mario Kart and are looking for something that offers similar solid mechanics with a little more flair for customization, you can’t go wrong here.

Pinball games have been part of video game culture forever and they have been on PC and consoles for a long time as well but we have yet to find a pinball game to give you that pool hall/arcade sound and feel when you are playing your game. While Zen Pinball is a good game I would rather play a real machine than a virtual one but this is certainly one of the most detailed pinball games we have seen in years.

It’s clear that MotorStorm: Arctic Edge is merely just another PSP to PS2 port geared at appealing to gamers who might not own Sony’s portable system. For a PS2 racer, this is still a solid title worth your cash and the controls certainly make each race a lot easier and more enjoyable.

Fright of the Bumble Bees is an interesting start to the series and should be evident that the following three episodes will satisfy adventure gamers. This game is not strictly for fans of the series and may end up turning some people into one. Hardcore adventure gamers might not find this game to be much of a challenge, but people looking for a game that will entertain them or their family members for a few hours will certainly enjoy the puzzles and humor from start to finish.

If you are a fan of the genre, there's no reason not to give this one a spin. Just be sure to come in looking for more of the "Action" and less of the "RPG".

After seeing what Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune brought to the table and the way Tomb Raider Legend was introduced to the next-gen world back in 2006, I was expecting Crystal Dynamics to deliver one heck of a Tomb Raider. Unfortunately, even if the game offers some novelties, Underworld doesn’t make any huge splashes and won’t wow most of the gamers as the same frustrating gameplay elements from past iterations are putting a dark cloud over it.

You don’t have to be a Spidey fan to enjoy this one. Good fighting, fluid web swinging and exciting boss battles make this game enjoyable. I won’t say it’s a must buy, but it’s definitely a must try.

This particular journey really shouldn't be missed though, and $40 is reasonable enough for those ready to embark on one of the best franchises to hit the last-gen consoles.

Don’t get me wrong, I liked Lips, it’s just that I expected a lot more from it; especially after seeing what SingStar was able to deliver. Plus knowing the fact that Microsoft is the king when it comes to social networking, this game feels rather incomplete. Lips will surely give you, friends and family, hours of fun if you only have an Xbox 360. If you have a Playstation 3, I would not be surprised if you end up playing SingStar more often.

The strength of this game is the visceral experience. It all feels very real and can be very tense, much like the enjoyable tension you feel in a good scary movie. This is all very good, but some poor choices in game design sometimes pull you out of the experience which is not so good.

There's a lot of interesting fodder here, but at this point, Dark Energy would be better off running with a clean slate instead of essentially patching and re-patching this one. If you are curious and can tolerate the low points, give it a run. But if you have already stepped into Kate's shoes on XBLA, there's no need to lace them up again.

With a great story and some fun classic game play as well as the new wonderful graphic updates to this classic RPG, make it a worthy single player title. The multiplayer side of things has a ton of potential if you have a few friends with the game you will have a blast for a very long time. For RPG fans this is a great title.

It might not offer anything original to the genre, it doesn’t alienate its audience by appealing to only one specific type of player. Those looking to play something that re-captures the great era of 16-bit gaming, this is what you need.

Overall, Flock will draw players in with its cutesy and whimsical world. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you liked the idea of building your own levels in LittleBigPlanet and the adorable world of The Maw, you’ll enjoy the marriage of the two here. But at $14.99, it might seem a little pricey for a downloadable title.

The single player game is well done and the co-op/multiplayer game is a nice treat in this age of pointless multiplayer action experiences we are bombarded with on an almost daily basis. But in the long run this game is not one I can see playing for more than a couple of weeks until the next game comes out that will keep my attention for a longer period of time. I have to say this is only a buy if you must; it actually is more of a rental.

Penumbra: Requiem is a genuinely spooky game and this is mostly due to the excellent sound effects and so if you enjoy being scared this is a great game for that, and with the budget price the game is worthy buying for most adventure game fans.

The action and intensity of the real experience is definitely replicated in this title. While that's a good thing for die-hard workout nuts, Zumba Fitness Core lacks a certain ease of entry for people looking for an alternative to gym memberships or classes.

NASCAR 09 is far better game than last year’s...but it still a long, long way from what we’ve seen in "NASCAR 06," which I still think was and still the best NASCAR game ever.

I was worried when Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood came out just a year after Assassin's Creed II. Fortunately, Brotherhood had enough going right for it that the yearlong development cycle didn't hurt the franchise. Though I doubt the lack of innovations in Revelations is going to damage the Assassin's Creed series, I definitely feel burned by Ubisoft on this one.

A weak Camera, horrible AI and online issues prevent this from being an incredible experience. In order to truly enjoy Echoes of Time you need to play this over the DS Wireless Communication with at least one other person. For those who are not big on playing with strangers or who do not have a friend with a copy will probably find more enjoyment playing something else. Here’s hoping that if Square Enix decides to return for another game in the series that they focus more attention on giving action-RPG fans both a solid solo and multiplayer adventure.

Lead & Gold: Gangs of the Wild West is far from being equal-to or superior-than Valve's popular squad-based shooter. It will manage to get you by, especially for $15.

For a niche title, it's a nice entry and it builds upon the franchise, so if you're really interested check it out. Otherwise, don't expect to be overly thrilled with the gameplay, even if you like the sounds of seagulls.

If you like action racing games this is a worth while rental at the very least. There is much to do in the game and even though it feels like the game is just missing some key factor to make it one of the best arcade racers around it is still enjoyable.

I really enjoyed Asura's Wrath, but the gameplay is somewhat of a great disappointment. We are supposed to be here to play a game, and the sections that we do get to play are lacklustre at best and don't add much to the experience, which is a shame.

If you loved Pikmin and are dying to play again you could probably find a copy way cheaper on the Gamecube (which you can still play on your Wii through backwards compatibility). However, if you’d like to give the new controls a shot, they make the game a little easier to control and for $30, it’s not going to prevent you from checking out some other new games as well.
