While most of it seems like deja-vu, I was able to see an improvement from most of past Cabela games, especially that pathetic Dangerous Hunts game from last year. If I had a hunting game to recommend to someone that knows squat about hunting, give this one a try but don’t expect the greatest game of all time. Its fun while it lasts.

If you are looking for something a little more cranially intensive, and can overlook the awkward tool placement issues, then I Heart Geeks will make a decent addition to your DS library.

I had so many mixed emotions playing through SMT: Persona. At times, the story kept me wanting more but the tedious combat, annoying first person perspective and high amount of random battles made me literally drop my PSP in disgust. If this is your first experience with the Persona series, this is not the game to start with; even those who are familiar with the series will probably only enjoy certain aspects offered.

While the game lacks a bit of variety in terms of game modes, Inferno Pool is definitely worth checking out not only because of its price tag but also because of its unique and unconventional presentation. If you are looking for an original and fun pool game to play, this game will do the trick until another pool game gets released...let’s just hope that we won’t wait three more years.

In spite of its faults, there’s a lot to like about Sonic and the Black Knight, provided you’re not holding a candle for games long since past. Sonic’s trademark speed is still there, and while the level designs are simpler than they were in the past, there’s still enough fun packed in here to be worth at least a weekend of your time.

Unlike last year’s version, NCAA Basketball 10 can’t be considered as a huge overhaul over its predecessors. It may not be a huge step back but it hasn’t improved much either. It’s a disappointment but our hopes remain high for next year...it could have been so much worse.

Those hoping that issues regarding the combat and the camera had been solved will be sorely disappointed. However, if you were content with how Dissidia played out and were craving more, then Dissidia 012: Duodecim: Final Fantasy gives you more of the same.

There is so much to do in the single player campaign you can spend much time playing and replaying it, the skirmish maps add a ton of variety and with each setting you can adjust, the single player offers a wide variety of replay value, more then any other RTS on the Xbox 360 to date.

NBA ’09: The Inside is a decent basketball title, but an extremely fun mini-games collection. Block Party alone makes this game a worthy pick up and will satisfy your portable playing this season. There is still a functional, if not a little bit disappointing, regular basketball option, but you can see that SCE did not put enough focus into appealing to gamers who just want to play.

All in all, if you enjoy the idea of spending tons of time fighting, collecting and grinding your way to power, you should definitely give this game a shot. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea though, skipping it may be a better option.

Ultimately, Red Steel 2 failed to capitalize on its potential by delivering something that is little more than a beat-em-up. It misses the opportunity to take what excites people about the Red Steel franchise and turn it into something exceptional.

If you’ve played any version of Animal Crossing before, your love of the series will pretty much be the deciding factor on whether or not you’re going to pick this up. Online is a nice feature, but when the game is almost the exact same as the previous two versions, it’s time to try something new.

An over the top homage to gaming's past, Blood, Bath and Beyond repairs Matt’s reputation as a gaming badass. Spot on humour and a penchant for gore make this easily recommendable to anyone who loved 8-bit shooters back in the day.

Of course, if you played the game on either the PS2 or Wii, you won’t find all the components but in the end, MLB Power Pros 2008 for the Nintendo DS is a very interesting experience.

If you have all the SingStar PS2 games at home and you’re a fan of the series then this game will maybe find it’s way into your game collection - but as always, don’t expect anything other than 30 new songs. Still, if they keep adding original, unique and shady music genres like this one, then maybe they should think to release a SingStar Hip-Hop once in for all.

Thanks to the fairly interesting story and by looking past some of the annoying missions, Sky Crawlers is a decent game. It still might not appeal to veteran flight combat fans, but for those looking for anything to take to the skies, they won’t be disappointed.

If you enjoy story-based adventure games, you will really enjoy Time Hollow. There are plenty of twists and surprises along the way that you will want to see how it ends. The game is relatively easy but the hand-holding will disappoint the older crowd who will look for a challenge.

I doubt it’ll get much talk time for “hardcore” gamers. It is a fun game, and it is a steal at 1000 Wii points. If you’re looking for a fun game that’s easy to start playing and the family would enjoy you can’t go wrong with this game.

If you’re an Alone in the Dark fan and you have the two consoles, the PS3 is definitely worth picking up. But we strongly think that the game remains a good rental since once you’re done with the game, the interest to replay it again won’t be present. But please, pick up the PS3 version.

What hurts the game the most is without a doubt the horrible commentary. It is extremely disappointing for a game like this, EA Sport’s signature title, to have so many problems in the sound department. It’s the one thing that prevents this game from being a solid purchase. If you only own a Wii and need to play a football game this season, then by all means go with Madden NFL 10. On the other hand, if you have a choice, I would strongly recommend buying the game on a different console.

Red Orchestra 2 is a fickle monster. On the one hand, the innovative gameplay and close attention to realism and detail give this release tons of potential. Unfortunately, the amount of bugs present coupled with the most clueless AI we've seen in awhile takes away a lot from what this game has to offer.

This action shooter is done well but lacks any long term gameplay value so I have trouble recommending this game as a buy at its current price. If it dropped down to 400 MS points (5 dollars) this would be one of hell of a game to own and something zombie fans could play with their friends.

Bodycount is, at its core, still a fun FPS. It's nice to look at and has enough enemies to keep you interested, as long as you like blastin' fools and wreckin' buildings. While the $60 asking price is a bit hard to swallow, it is well worth an eventual bargain bin pickup.

If you are a huge fan of Dragon Ball and equal parts JRPG fan, you can’t go wrong with this game. It’s a competent JRPG and offers a ton of portable role playing content. That said, if you aren’t already a fan, this is one game you can safely avoid.
