Disturbing, violent, gloomy, 2Dark is a nice old-school looking game with an amazing atmosphere. Those who love survival and stealth will find a truly decent challenge.

The Solus Project is a mix between wonderment and disappointment. The artistic direction is awesome and the atmosphere has been fine tuned, but the survival mechanics are not deep enough.

Undoubtedly the best clone of Dark Souls so far, but with its few flaws, it remains in the shadow of this model.

Digimon World Next Order has good raising mechanics for your monsters, but poor fights, poor story and poor graphics.

Here it is at last, the first Castlevania Lords of Shadows DLC ! Is it as good as it was expected ? Well, yes and no. "Yes", because it adds one new chapter to a game we loved, because it does so with classy comic book style cinematics, by offering us some very nice moments playing Laura, with her vampire special abilities and her mastery of thunder, and by giving us new puzzle to chew on, new action sequences to experience, new backgrounds... it even goes as far as to give us a little something more out of the story, shining a little more light on the ending of Lords of Shadow. But "no", because it remains super short with only 3 levels to clear, which are not that surprising, and very quick to complete (maybe an hour). So we're left hanging, with a very frustrating "to be continued". So, for 800 MP, we'd have hoped for more content, or more intensity.

"Sexy" is the word that fits Senran Kagura Estival Versus the most. A lot of girls fights in lingerie, and the clothes gets destroyed... The game provides a lot of content and fun, but with some repetition.

Synthetik Ultimate is a good top down shooter mixed with roguelite mechanics, that brings a lot of fun gunfights.

Singular and therefore quite striking, "JETT Le Rivage Lointain" in French in the text, is a journey that should not be missed. It will not remain as a lasting memory that will mark the life of a player forever. It looks more like that nice walk we took on the weekend and which leaves vivid memories. It is a game that has a soul and brilliantly composes a striking musical and aesthetic blend.

It's a good thing this beat'em all can rely on a prestigious franchise, rather than its true gameplay qualities (multiplayer excluded). Because there is far better elsewhere for this price.

A good example of generous, if not overzealous fan service, that falls short of ideas concerning the game design.

The title says it all: you do shoot many robots in Shoot Many Robots. There's still some subtleties in the game's gameplay, but they fail to dim the overall repetitiveness of the ride.

Finally freed from the AR play cards, the Invizimals are back in greater numbers with more customizable skills. But this brave Resistance is still hindered by precision quirks and repetitiveness, thus only relentless hunters will keep battling.

This remake of MediEvil is of high quality, both in terms of graphics and sound. The work on the music is excellent and it is a pleasure too travel again through Gallowmere landscapes with Sir Daniel Fortesque.

The game is a worthy successor of its elders. The atmosphere is oppressive, so that we constantly have the feeling that a hand will come grab our own hands... Using the GamePad is truly immersive too. Nethertheless, threre's one big default: you should be exasperated by the slow movement of the characters.

There is undoubtedly some blasting spirit into this efficiently action oriented Yo-Kai Watch spin-off, but with such ghostly narrative, skeletal structure and overall lack of consistency, only diehard fans may be haunted by this fleshed-out multiplayer experience for long.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a nice candy piece, a love-apple, cute like its main character Juliet, and one that Suda51's fans will be delighted to swallow in a single afternoon of play. But once the sugar's been digested, don't expect any chewing-gum core to keep you going: it's a short, one-time thing, that has both the qualities and shortcomings of all Suda51's games.

You won't be able to blame A Walk In The Dark for concealing its influences. It's an open and blatant mix of Super Meat Boy, VVVVVV, Bit.Trip Runner and Limbo. Unfortunately, mixing the best elements is not always the recipe of success, when you don't cook it well enough. It's not nearly as fun and enticing as the sum of its parts, or even of a single one of them. The music is still superb, though.

Langrisser I & II lacks of personality, starting with its mobile-ish visuals. Once arduous, both are now really easy to finish since no enemy can compete with your squads. The oversimplification of the games make them close to those mobile titles, with short battles and where the brain is no longer requested.

Sniper Elite V2 remains a small production in terms of technical scope, and could have benefited greatly from a more polished storytelling, but the fun of playing a sniper behind enemy lines is genuine. Its realistic take on the sniping parameters make it a serious option for those of us who love camping.

All the "kawai" of a magical girl violently confronted to the intrigues of a cruel and boiling kingdom, this is what makes the charm and humor of Long Live Queen. This story will give you a real headache! The choices and events could have been more varied to avoid some repetition. Maybe for the next title ?

The Spectrum Retreat is full of good ideas and mysteries, but Dan Smith's first game is way too linear while playing the walking simulator card to please every amateur of the genre. Too many clues are given about the delicate subject being treated, but the core mechanics of dozen of color-based puzzles might be good enough for you to give it a go. With just a bit more coherence between the gameplay and the narrative, it could have been memorable.

This remake of Castle of Illusion leaves us with mixed feelings. The game suffers from poor jump mechanics (which is a shame in a platformer, right), but offers on another hand a superb atmosphere, faithful to the original but with good additions in every levels... Are you nostalgic enough to really enjoy it?

Steel Rats has the merit of proposing an original concept and a neat universe but too monotonous, not very engaging in its game objectives, it also disappoints by gameplay sometimes too fanciful and a poorly adjusted progression curve.

With this new Assassin's Creed Odyssey storyline, the player is pleased to meet those who are not the Assassins yet, but still use their hidden blade. This very short DLC is filled with interesting characters, but the lack of brand new mechanics at this stage should make you wait until the release of all the three episodes to buy this DLC.

Gotham Knights is one of those games with a lot of potential that is spoiled by a bunch of questionable game design choices. Without being fundamentally bad, Gotham Knights leaves us with the sensation of an abandoned service game that could have been promising if it was assumed. A game fun to play in cooperation that will remain in the shadow of Batman Arkham.
