This second episode is as charming as the first one. An elegant and really enjoyable - but quite brief - experience that lets us in need for what's coming next.- Gameblog.fr

No need to try to be more absurd, funnier and more disturbing than The Stanley Parable, let's just say that it's an adventure to live and relive, relive and relive again... and never get rid of this feeling of having missed something. Never.- Gameblog.fr

After an average Dragon Rising episode, Codemasters corrects a lot of shortcomings and delivers, this time around, a more convincing tactical FPS. If the basics remain the same, with a similar technical side and order system, large and open environments, etc. the AI behaviors have been enhanced. This makes Red River a game that is still difficult, but less frustrating, and more immersive. It's also an experience you'll want to share online. A title that's not for everyone, but one that will appeal to virtual soldiers thanks to a unique design.- Gameblog.fr

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a safe bet. Its solo campaign is a mind-blowing trip and its multiplayer mode is a must on consoles. In the duel with Battlefield 4, CoD Ghosts therefore takes advantage in the solo campaign, and it holds up in multiplayer, despite its shortcomings (the destruction and fewer players involved).- Gameblog.fr

If it's not a port that changes a thing, it's still a pleasure to be able to play Bayonetta anywhere, anytime, as it's one of the best beat-them-all of all time. Not a flawless one, but indeed a lovable one.- Gameblog.fr

The opportunity to play Brothers A Tale of Two Sons in local co-op is not a bad idea in itself, but the experience is less relevant since it was designed as a solo game at first, with a single player able to control two characters at the same time.- Gameblog.fr

An amazing game. I would even dare to say that it is an amazing social experience. The idea of traveling, meeting new trainers and catch pokemons everywhere is simply too good to be true. Cannot wait to play it even more, I've never been so eager to go grocery shopping.- Gameblog.fr

Gears of War will always be Gears of War. Almost ten years after the release of the original game, Gears of War's story and gameplay still work fine, and the graphics update makes it even better.- Gameblog.fr

Age of Mythology Retold is a true nostalgic delight that will remind many players of the great times spent on the family PC, between school assignments or after an afternoon snack. It belongs to that category of titles that are unlikely to leave the podium of the best strategy games anytime soon.- Gameblog.fr

The Challenges not only provide a detailed explanation of the items, they also reveal the gameplay's deepest secrets through an amazing level design. While the creation interface is slightly cramped, it remains an incredibly simple, funny and exhilarating way to build courses. However some important parts like the costumes and the online sharing option were removed, thus reducing the social reach of Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS to a local, pocketable level.- Gameblog.fr

Dying Light mixes elements from Dead island, Mirror's Edge and Far Cry efficiently. Crafting, action, exploration and free running are all well-implemented in this open-world survival game. And you can expect to be genuinely frightened when the night comes. With a lot of content and satisfying ways to play in multiplayer, this game can, indeed, please a wide audience, even if everything is not perfect.- Gameblog.fr

Developed over nearly a decade, the last episode of Kentucky Route Zero has finally arrived, and with it the complete edition of the game. It can almost be considered as an interactive fiction, but with a real attention given to the player and the meaning of its actions throughout the game. As a subjective experience, it also questions the connections between video games and other forms of art.- Gameblog.fr

If BioWare can deliver a good load balancing for the real launch of the game, The Old Republic is geared up for success: the franchise works as well as we'd have hoped, the game remains pretty classical, but well-rounded, and there's this added bonus of the BioWare games that we came to know and love: the story. Actually, Eight stories, one for each class, supported by other narrative elements for every quest. It makes for a massive content to discover, enough to remain occupied until BioWare fixes the little balancing issues, refines the interface, fixes some bugs and the like. With Wookies, it would have been nearly perfect for an MMO launch.- Gameblog.fr

A reasonable price for a title that has a definite advantage: it has no real competition in the genre, and fans of Games Workshop won't hesitate for long. The online mode is rich and full, it has evolved over the patches, coaches' Rankings, league... If you like this universe, if you like strategy and if you can stand the injustice of the dice, go for it.- Gameblog.fr

The Zelda license returns magically to Nintendo Switch with a title that brings a welcomed breath of fresh air. Giving us the unprecedented opportunity to embody the Princess herself, Echoes of Wisdom carries the legacy of an entire license to which it brings its load of (small) new additions. Grezzo has succeeded in combining the feeling of dungeon exploration that many fans have been missing, with gameplay directly inspired by Tears of the Kingdom. In this way, the game manages to appeal to fans both past and present, for an experience which proves that even after almost 40 years, Nintendo's historic IPs know how to renew themselves and, above all, don't hesitate to dare. After such an opus, we can only ask for even more ambition for future 2D Zelda games.- Gameblog.fr

Thanks to a "back to the roots" formula, Criterion succeeded in restoring the right path for the Need for Speed series : the chase HQ style pursuits between the police and the crazed drivers. It manages to do this with an inspired approach, borrowing from the original game or more recent ones, like with the finesse and fun inducing in-game equipment. The Autolog feature is a true revolution community-wise, and the online play guaranties hours of added fun. Can we ask for more ? Yes ; a less "heavy" handling of the cars, for an even more dynamic urban rodeo. The best NFS game since the third installment.- Gameblog.fr

If you're an adventure games fan and didn't yet try this legend of the genre, you can't miss this new special edition. Now if you're already a fan knowing the whole game by heart, quoting the best punch lines during high society galas, here's an opportunity to dive in again and rediscover this mythical game under a new light. The only thing we were disappointed with was the creators' commentary: it fell short of our expectations, otherwise it would have garnered 5 stars easy.- Gameblog.fr

With Age of Empires Online, Robot Entertainment offers a real-time strategy experience for a large public in terms of solo play, and probably one that's more interesting in PVP. But in order to enjoy it, it's really best to purchase a premium civilization. It still remains pretty straightforward and classic, but wrapped up in a nice, overall production, with very polished equipment management, crafting and decoration options for your city.- Gameblog.fr

After two attempts, IO Interactive has finally succeeded in transforming Hitman World of Assassination into a highly recommended VR experience. In fact, it's one of the best virtual reality games on the market. Unfortunately, it's still a game designed for a flat screen, so there are limitations that prevent it from being a complete VR experience.- Gameblog.fr

Sometimes, going away leads to refinding yourself, as Shantae's not so paradisiac holidays show. Her change of look finally accomplished in very high definition, the half-genie appears even more gracious and naughtier, thanks to subtle pens strokes. While it's rather a reinvention than a creation, WayForward focused on the series' fundamentals, through the construction of an arborescent world both massive and complex. A depth progressively revealed by the talents of our famous belly dancer, her seamless transformations proving particularly polyvalent. And the additional skills from the collectible monster cards ultimately enhance Shantae and the Seven Sirens, an almost irresistible call indeed.- Gameblog.fr

MVC3 will, no doubt, seduce any fan, thanks to its spectacular gameplay and production, but also thanks to its accessibility and varied cast. But, when your take some time to think about it a little, it's hard not to consider that Capcom's title stays quite light in terms of game modes, of online play, and almost insulting in its DLC policy. It remains a awe-inspiring show of sound and lights, with a unique atmosphere. Hard to miss.- Gameblog.fr

Great work from Gunfire Games 2. Remnant 2 is a demanding title, but one that always rewards you appropriately. Surprisingly, the title proves to be much more subtle than it seems, whether it's for its brilliant boss or for the few puzzles that punctuate the exploration. The game's insane bestiary also contributes to maintaining constant interest, as does the title's superb artistic direction. Despite it's poor story, Remnant 2 offers an epic journey. A pure success.- Gameblog.fr

On Nintendo Switch, Dungeon of the Endless is still an excellent and cruel mix of Rouge-like, Tower Defense, RPG and strategy. Port is good, even if it stumbles occasionally when there are too many enemies on screen, and it plays well, may you progress with a pad configuration and/or touch screen. It always has something to bring you down, but is charming and deep enough to urge you to go for another try and be more thoughtful. And lucky. Brilliant.- Gameblog.fr
