Far from being a void attempt at the genre in digital form, Faery is charming thanks to its freshness and classic world revisiting the forgotten tales and legends. But it will will quickly show its limits to the RPG fans, because of its not-so-deep gameplay. Despite its limitations, Faery remains an interesting proposition, if you have already consumed all the must-have games of the downloadable offerings out there.- Gameblog.fr

The Reapers' invasion in Mass Effect 3 would have been a lot quicker without Shepard intervention in The Arrival DLC for ME2. This gap-bridging extension is very short, with a so-so story (a meteor with engines, didn't I see that somewhere already ?) and a focus on action, with quite a challenge at times. No interesting moral choice, nothing really fascinating in dialogues... Shepard does its inevitable job once again, and politicians will target him once more. Is that it? We could have done without it.- Gameblog.fr

A straight, if not rushed port of the Wii U version, that was already much less interesting than the 3D(S) episode in terms of content and gameplay. Thus Family Tennis SP doesn't have anything really special to offer, except its friendly style and somehow unusual "super" shots.- Gameblog.fr

Here's how to sum up Mafia II : 12 hours of repetitive, linear missions, with but a few gameplay mechanics. Shoot, drive, punch, a tiny little bit of stealth, that's it. There's nothing more to be done than to follow the unfolding of the plot, which is clearly sub-par, especially when considering how easy it is to watch a rerun of The Godfather or a season of the Sopranos instead. Replay value is nil, there's no multiplayer. You can't even roam freely in the city after the ending (what for anyway, one may ask). Combat is way to easy, cars don't provide much thrill. In the end, Mafia II is a very pretty box, but an empty one. 80% of what has been developed doesn't serve any real purpose. The rest isn't enough to make a great game. If you're a die hard fan of the 50's atmosphere (nicely rendered), and the Mafia genre, you might still enjoy it. Otherwise...- Gameblog.fr

The disappointment is up to the punk, idiotic and meta fun that the first two No More Heroes provided. Admiring the independent scene that has revolutionized the video game in recent years, Suda51 gives the impression of having missed the hype train with this new, painful game.- Gameblog.fr

Wheel of Ages is very simple to play, and the ascension of rotating wheels a good, if not original, idea. But its visuals are ugly to say the least, its music nerve breaking, and the level design doesn't succeed in keeping the interest of the player for long.- Gameblog.fr

I wanted to scare myself a little and chose Anna to do so, a first-person point & click game. But one may not really say that Anna's scary, and given that the story remains obnoxiously obscure, as do many puzzles, one does progress kind of blindfolded. Not really a success.- Gameblog.fr

Of course, Knack 2 adds a few things compared to the first one. But it really lacks fun, visuals that feel PS4, and even humor to touch its target.- Gameblog.fr

On Switch, 12 is Better Than 6 is much more of a Mexican let down than a Mexican stand off. It sure had some potential as a far west hand drawn Hotline Miami but issues like frame rate dropping, protagonist stuck near some walls or very disappointing A.I. make it a game that can be hard to enjoy. Too bad.- Gameblog.fr

There's no way one can't see Capcom's expedience in this game. Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is a game mode, sold full price. The experience was tailored to appeal to scoring aesthetes, with a decent challenge for those who want to unlock everything, but the game remains rough and arid for most. With the noticeable exception of the production values and a working multiplayer, the game is a poor one: no story, repetitiveness beyond reason, a level-design based on scavenging previous games, and in very limited numbers... please no more. Resident Evil, as a saga, didn't need such an effort.- Gameblog.fr

With its attractively designed dragons, its music and its targeting system, Crimson Dragon had potential. Unfortunately, this spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon fails in terms of gameplay and graphics, as if everything was stuck in the past... and sometimes nostalgia can't transcend reality.- Gameblog.fr

The Sims 4 is still a charming life simulation, with a better interface and some new possibilities, but so many elements are missing compared from The Sims 3 (hello DLCs!) that all the fans will be disappointed.- Gameblog.fr

From any point of view, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a disappointment. If it's cool to play Spider-Man in Manhattan, this game is too similar to its predecessor (some improvement but not for the best) and can't be considered as a good "Spidey" game.- Gameblog.fr

Crime Boss could have been a nice experience, especially since there is no 400 Payday-like. There was clearly a niche to be taken while surfing on that nice cast of actors, but nothing was done. Minimal service, failed service with this. Since between the bad ideas of game design, the absent direction, the failed dubbing and the far from great graphics, it's hard to recommend it. Especially since for less than twenty euros, Payday 2 does a better job, despite its age.- Gameblog.fr

TRON Evolution, even though it bridges the gap between the two movies, remains quite dispensable, even for fans of the universe. Its gameplay, a mashup of cheesy combat and pale wallrun-based stunts copied and pasted from other more respectable games, bores more than it entertains. Even though its technically and visually correct, its dreariness and lack of pace nullifies its original ambitions.- Gameblog.fr

Sonic Adventure 2 didn't really get an unanimously enthusiastic reception when it came out in 2001, and this "HD" remastering won't either. Even though the fans will be able to enjoy this game in full widescreen / 720P resolution, nothing else has been upgraded, and it's not even the best version to date (the GameCube one) that's been used for this. Worst of all, SEGA asks for an extra DLC purchase to upgrade it to the Battle version.- Gameblog.fr

Start the Party : Save the World works very well. The mini-games are fun, all with a friendly atmosphere. But in terms of content, there is only twenty "missions" and no different game modes to create some competition… That's not enough. At 10€ on the PSN, why not, but not at 30€ boxed.- Gameblog.fr

Initially intriguing in its artistic direction, mysterious in its final, and even if it has the good idea to offer the happiness of being a bird, Vane goes from meditative to painful far too quickly, fueled by a technique too weak with regard to its size and a lack of sensation, which it does not manage to tie the foundation and the form of its experiment.- Gameblog.fr

The Fight is enjoyable despite some flaws. You have to be so cautious to play it the right way, so cautious to move your arms the right way, that you quickly lose that feeling of freedom. The gameplay is still fun and interesting when you decide to persevere.- Gameblog.fr

Incoming movie? Quick, get me a game out there! That's how one could summarize Transformers: Dark of the Moon. With super linear TPS phases and a failed racing gameplay, this episode only has its Mecha license and steam-venting ability for itself. AI's a mess, most of the original sequences aren't really convincing, and its production values are clearly not on par with the rest of the game products of today.- Gameblog.fr

Rabbids 3D is a regular 2D platformer in all its classicism. It's so regular and average that it's quickly boring. Monotonous and poorly paced, it's far from being a total wreckage, sure, but it's really nothing to be remembered.- Gameblog.fr

As a resurrection of the dungeon crawler genre as it wants to appear, Hunted: The Demon's Forge just is another FPS without any real subtleties. It's a shame since its world is fine and action globally ok, but some camera issues, a poor story, some clunky gameplay and outdated production values clearly undermine the fun.- Gameblog.fr

Yet another Party Game from Nintendo. With Wii Play Motion like with other games of this type, solo play is dispensable: the fun comes from multiplayer. But for this one, even multiplayer won't cut it; we're desperately waiting for the spark, the one mini-game that will capture us. This time around, the spark doesn't come. This follow-up to Wii Play will only convince the youngest of gamers during birthday parties.- Gameblog.fr

Naruto is the golden eggs goose, like Dragon Ball in its time. Some titles may rise above the average, but this one isn't one of them. Be weary of the quickly produced, fan service products like this game and its poor combat gameplay.- Gameblog.fr
