Indivisible is a platform game and a no-fuss RPG. Without much depth either, a defect without a doubt for those who hoped to tackle a RGP borrowing a certain complexity. For others, it remains a very nice game, because of its beautiful Japanese cartoon attire, these characters, if they are very charismatic, at least always cute and fun, and its overall dynamism.

Destiny Shadowkeep adds a poor solo campaign to the main base game, too short and too straightforward. Only the Destiny addicts would enjoy the hours of grinding needed to open the doors of the new raid.

39 Days to Mars succeeds as a one-hour coop game whereas the solo experience is quite frustrating, due to the way the puzzles were conceived. The art direction is a treat though and both characters are true witty British clichés.

With this new title, Frozenbyte has chosen to leave aside the semi-disappointing 3D experimentation of the previous part to focus on the 2.5D action / reflection formula that made its success. We find what makes the series so charming, with its enchanting universe, its trio of heroes with complementary capabilities and the opportunity to live this adventure up to four, locally or online. If the regulars of the series will grumble perhaps a little considering the few important innovations proposed by this new episode, Trine 4 remains an independent game very pleasant by his concept, his aspect, his lightness.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a generous game, good and easy to handle. It's a real pleasure to spend time there and unblock everything with the sweat of his forehead. Dusty community hub breaking immersion, idiot AI, bugs of all kinds despite the beta, microtransaction system a little bit abusive, terrible driving vehicles system,tactics non-existent in solo.... However, the game also has some good aspects, especially with its brilliant main actor, its fun multiplayer Ghost War mode and many cooperative possibilities due to the realistic and complete equipment. Definitely Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not a bad game, but it is not what you would call a good game either.

Neo Cab, a California cyberpunk back-country investigation, features an intriguing storyline and neat storytelling with an intriguing tale of engaging stories that offer the feeling of sharing with Lina's passengers a real piece privacy. An atmospheric title, just like its synthetic music, in which the conversations with the clients of the VTC are as many elements to advance the plot but reveal themselves to be tracks given to the one who plays there to develop his own reflection on both personal and contemporary issues.

The arrival of Dragon Quest XI on Switch is quite Ultimate indeed: combining a 2D and a 3D approach, this port also adds a good amount of new features, such Japanese voices, symphonic orchestrations, and new quests. Sadly, if you already bought the PS4 version, you will have to spend some more money for this truly Ultimate Edition.

The Surge 2 is a very good Souls-like. The level design has really improved after the first episode, and the gameplay key features will procure good sensations to players addicted to challenges.

Football Drama carried the hopes of a title that approaches the round ball in a different aspect than the simulation. Unfortunately, completely hollow in his game system in match and very limited in the moral choices he offers as a coach, Football Drama annoys and disappoints.

Wolfenstein Cyberpilot really lacks of content, and offers boring fights that doesn't provide any good sensation. It should have been bundled with Youngblood, and not sold separately.

This new NBA 2K iteration isn't a new step forward for the the franchise. Gameplay is still good and demanding, MyCareer well-written, but there's not much that's feeling new and memorable.

As usual, EA Sports tries mostly to upgrade the previous edition instead of trying to revolutionize. NHL 20 has some strong new animations, a new visual identity, game modes that feel better than ever and the whole feels smoother. It's solid but lacks some unforgettable feature to be a true star.

One of the best survival game experiences since The Forest. Beautiful, immersive and scary, Green Hell is a little masterpiece. The Amazonian jungle is impeccably transcribed, and the game, hard, beautiful, scary and punishing is a real breath of fresh air in the survival genre.

Greedfall is not an RPG that is intended to play the leading roles of the genre. Limited as well by its technique, its fights and its relatively remote progression, although intriguing and therefore fascinating, the title still has a beautiful soul, shaped by its universe, its artistic direction, its writing, its themes, its music . So many attractive arguments that counterbalance its weaknesses, making Greedfall a game that can not be recommended to the greatest number but deserves attention to at least judge the effect of its charms.

eFootball PES 2020 is faithful to what the two previous games have built. On the pitch, it all feels great, but in terms of content and variety, there's still a lot of work to do.

On Nintendo Switch, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is still one of the best western RPGs of the past years. Even if the port shows the limitations of the system it's running on, Larian's game doesn't lose its magic - made of brilliant writing, characters and quest, and solid mechanics. This episode has been carefully developed and deserves the attention of simracing fans. It does not compete with the best titles on PC, but you will not have much to reproach it on console. WRC 8, it is a solid title with an official licence and the confidence is now totally restored in Kylotonn. Simply, Bravo.

OK MXGP 2019 does the job and it does it pretty well. Evidenced by the new free mode offered to players. But the rest continues to capitalize on gains that are starting to age. Today, you have to create stories around the races and make them more realistic by reducing the line between the real and the virtual.

Hunt: Showdown is fantastic. The pleasure is immediate and very long-lasting as long as its difficulty does not upset you. It's a visceral and immersive experience that you should absolutely not miss if you are a fan of cooperative games. After 202 hours spent on it, starting from the first days of its Early Access, the situation is clear : Hunt: Showdown is an amazing FPS and it won't be forgotten.

Under its goofy premise, Terry Cavanagh's new production is a very well designed title. Really strategic and offering a huge display of combinations, Dicey Dungeons can also be a little frustrating as we can win or lose on a roll of a dice.

RAD, synonymous with "cool" in the 80s in English, is really not the appropriate title for this new Double Fine production. Difficult to understand the very proposition of this title, a rogue-like relatively tasteless while the market abounds with very successful productions of the same kind, that the 80's aesthetic worn until disgusting in recent years fails to save.

Gears 5 is both a very generous and welcoming game. Building on what made the Gears franchise a power house, The Coalition changed the campaign's structure, added useful features to Horde mode, created a fun new coop mode and made the game more accessible for people with disabilities and new players. And it doesn't hurt that the game is really pretty (especially on the Xbox One X) Gears 5 is only being dragged down a bit by a couple technical issues that shouldn't be seen in AAA first party games.

Monster Hunter is a massive expansion with some huge content (monsters, quests, ranks, sets...) and some good new features that will please everyone. A very good way to keep on hunting alone or with some friends, for dozens, no, hundreds of hours.

Six years after its initial release on PC, Hotline Miami is offered with its suite Hotline Miami 2 : Wrong Number (2015) on Switch, through Hotline Miami Collection. If the two titles have been available for some years now on PlayStation consoles including PS Vita, the attraction of being able to play these two cult titles on a portable console such as that of Nintendo is obvious. Hotline Miami games always offer a cryptic story ticking all the boxes of subversiveness, hypnotizing like the bloody scrums in which it plunges us, the cries of flamboyant synthesizers and heavy and threatening beats. Two of the best titles of the decade to discover or re-discover for a discerning audience.

Released long after the successive reissues of the other two Final Fantasy of the PlayStation, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered does not suffer from the defects found in these different versions (loop music, mobile interface of bad taste ...) and therefore legitimately bears his name. Nothing extraordinary compared to the original game, no additional content offered to fans for example, but a new quality varnish that enhances the original experience and allows you to dive in the best way possible.

With Oninaki, Tokyo RPG Factory finally delivers a game with a true personality in its art direction and its plot and atmosphere. Alas, the exploration seems dull and the structure of the game in general is too repetitive. Promising maybe, frustrating nonetheless.

If you don't mind a quite predictable story and a few flaws, you'll find in Blair Witch a very effective way to spend your evenings in total fear with a lovely dog and some good game mechanics to help you.

Ancestors Humankind Odyssey is a game which we embody the deans of humanity, immersed in the fascinating, extremely immersive and often moving adventure of the great story of life. However, Panache Digital Games has not completely managed to offer a game always technically up to the originality of his proposal. It is nonetheless a singular experience that arouses great sympathy and for which it would be a shame to miss out, especially if the few really disabling design flaws were to be corrected soon.

The Dark Pictures - Man of Medan applies the Until Dawn recipe to a smaller and cheaper game, with cooperative features, and the results are very good.

With Grandia HD Collection, GungHo had everything to succeed. And if both adventures still offers a strong experience, the game is filled with way too much bugs in every aspect to deliver a satisfying experience. Occurring in a beautiful anime setting, Astral Chain is a real treat for the players. With this game, PlatinumGames confirm their status as masters in Beat'em-all games making.

Telling Lies is an absolute masterpiece. It offers some brilliant writing and acting that drive us to passionately discover all of its secrets through its very simple but effective mechanics.

This fourth episode of Life is Strange 2 throws a lot of punches. And, again, as it is perfectly written and performed, it's a successful way to continue the story of Sean and Daniel, and wait for the end, coming in December.

Kill La Kill - IF is a pretty descent fighting game, with a good but very simplistic gameplay, a new alternative story well told, but the lack of content is obvious. Fans only.

Despite its production quality, some good acting and great accessibility, Erica doesn't feel like a great interactive movie. Most of the actions are just pointless and the story and characters as a whole, whatever our decisions are, feel rushed and fail to really create a connection between the player and the characters.

PictoQuest is a nice mix between Picross puzzles and old-school RPG mechanics. But despite its lovely charm and big Picross grids, NanoPiko adventure should have aimed for a tiny bit of challenge, instead of taking every player by the hand.

Madden NFL 20 has reached an additional milestone thanks to the addition of significant new features. It remains the best American football experience.

Inspired by venerable recipes, Sweet Witches taste good, but such charming flavours lack some depth to enchant arcade lovers long enough.

Picross: Lord of the Nazarick is certainly a great addition to any Picross player that knows and appreciates Overlord. It has a lot of elements from the anime, which can be feel like a relief after three Picross S games that look almost the same. If you don't know or don't like it, you'll probably want to go straight to the point and skip the cutscenes that slow down a bit your need for coloring blank grids and reveal some Pixel Art images.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is a pretty good FPS, with solid gameplay, nice level design and interesting cooperative mechanics.

Even though both Layers of Fear's stories are not linked, this sequel follows up the style of the original game. All the horror comes from the peculiar stagings and visuals used by Bloober Team that cause a constant sensation of anguish. Also, the different "homages" to several movie classics are a great classy touch.

Beyond Two souls is the same as the PS4 version. It thus magnifies the narration with a technical outcome that amplifies everything. More graceful than ever, this port offers its most beautiful version here. As a classic, Beyond Two Souls is now part of the history of video games.

Like every massive monument, Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been built slowly, but surely. The candid though deep links established in the monastery, theatre of a true student life with plentiful lessons and occupations, are used to express the canevas' dramatic intent, exceptionally dark. And this dense universe features an unprecedented scope, also displayed by the scale of battles lead in unison on large maps, resolutely overpopulated. Then the accent put on human relations and the natural, if not organic aspect of the peregrinations resulting from the gameplay evolutions almost appear to push the tactical dimension into the background. This episode is nonetheless based on its imposing heritage of principles, wisely refined to make the whole experience more coherent. Never did the series deploy such opulence, while giving the choice to discover the extent of its richness freely, whatever one's teaching implication degree. A long-term work anyway, accomplished by the masterful triple hands of Intelligent Systems, Koei Tecmo and Nintendo. In a word, grandiose.

Despite its promise to be a noir investigation in the heart of Paris, Night Call focuses way more on its narrative and brilliant part, at the expense of the mystery itself. Yes, the iconic characters you drive from a neighborhood to another is beautifully written, but we would have hoped to play a real part trying to find the culprit.

If you own a good PC and are a Tetris fan, you won't be disappointed by Tetris Effect. It's still what can be considered as the strongest installment in the series, thanks to its lavish visuals and unforgettable sound design and tracks. But, it can potentially be a lot more beautiful and overwhelming than on PS4, with a 4K screen or with a VR headset. You just can't miss this magnificent gem.

Redeemer Enhanced Edition doesn't add much to the formula but it's still a pleasant way to change your mind with some funny violence. And a friend with you on the couch.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is both a fun adventure (especially in couch co-op mode) for fans of Marvel characters and a game that looks like it was made a couple hardware generations ago. While the game is clearly held back by its dated presentation, it has enough cool content to show a good time to fans of Marvel Characters both young and old.

Yuppie Psycho is a very funny and enjoyable adventure with a lot of puzzles that will give you hard times. Perfectly balanced, we can surely recommend it to fans of this type of games.

With Dr. Mario World, a larger audience can freely benefit from Nintendo's famous puzzle game treatment, but despite some contagious stimulating effects of the multiplayer battles, its yet wholly tactile formula appears too drastically altered for ergonomical and economical reasons to prove more efficient than generic medicine.

We.The Revolution is an interesting experience, but beyond that, the game pushes the player to make choices by following either the opinion of the different forces or himself. The scripted side of some trials and the frustrating side of Parisian life management do not necessarily help in immersion. But we must still salute the work done and We.The Revolution is a small oasis in the middle of a desert full of AAA titles.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a sequel in every level: wider, deeper but also way more talkative than the original, the game sticks to the original formula, adding a new multiplayer mode and a first person view. Needless to say, every fan of the Dragon Quest franchise will be pleased by this vast spin-off, but Square Enix should have tried a tiny bit more to make it appealing to all the other players.

Blazing Chrome is more than a simple homage to the Contra and Metal Slug series: the game also takes liberties to offer the genre a new and strong challenger. With two very different styles and a delightful pixel-art look, there is much more than meets the nostalgic eyes in this complete run and gun.

The Sinking City Is a pretty good adventure game, with a good universe, but the open world feature is annoying and the game suffers from multiple graphic diseases.

Shadowbringers is simply the best MMO extension ever made, period. The new world to discover is amazing, the story is amazing, the soundtrack is amazing and the updated battle system is amazing. We will only complain about one thing: please Square Enix, fix the way characters are animated during cut-scenes because it is painful to watch in 2019.

Tour de France 2019 is probably the best in the series but it still lacks some experience and ambition to become a fantastic champion, as it is a bit disappointing technically and in terms of A.I. and novelty. Maybe next year?

Outer Wilds is simply a wonderful and brilliant space exploration adventure. Inside an hand-crafted solar system, the game is an ode to adventure and curiosity where you journey through space, trying to understand the stakes of a quantic situation.

Stuck between cheap jokes on our contemporary society and more gritty situations than others, the non-adventures of Larry Laffer seem definitely anachronistic. The fact of proposing something schooly, crazy or erotic is not crippling but we find ourselves here with the outcome corny of a series that was definitely thought extinct.

If the success of Catan as a board game is more to prove, concerning this adaptation in video games, an absence is an aberration: the lack of a local multiplayer game mode. If, perhaps, the big fans of the board game will find their account between two parties in real life, it seems nevertheless that the designers of this version Switch has missed the main interest of the game.

Pro Cycling Manager 2019 remains the reference for cycling games in the hearts of players. But he should question himself to not run out of steam.

Despite the beautiful promises of Jo-Mei, the solitary adventure of Kay is not strong enough to reach us in the heart: wobbly on the technical and extremely classic in its mechanics, the game still benefits from a very nice artistic direction and a very good soundtrack to float a little.

Steel Division 2 is a deep and complex wargame, a lot more massive than the first game. Sadly it doesn't propose workshop at launch and it's a big problem because the first game survived mostly thanks to the mods.

From a technical point of view, the work done in this Switch version of The Last Remnant Remastered is remarkable : the visuals are stunning, even on portable mode. Alas, the intricacy of the combat system and the world design in general, inherent in the game itself, are not very engaging.

The story of Super Mario Maker 2 appears manufactured in a rush, with Luigi lending a hand as an extra, but the castle's restoration offers an excellent presentation of this episode's additional perspectives. Those fulfill the main gaps of its predecessor through incredibly polyvalent mechanisms, quite magical staging tools and more or less stunning power-ups. Some elements among the most audacious are unfortunately confined into dedicated styles, along with limited control means overall, the architectural vision remaining very straight and square. Such stands the counterbalance of the harmony deployed inside this marvelous building site, even more accessible to boot. While the cooperative works don't always operate in synergy, the community dimension proves more stimulating than ever. A new (mile)stone - solid and ingeniously cut - for this construction edifice à la "MarioWare".

The opportunity to play Brothers A Tale of Two Sons in local co-op is not a bad idea in itself, but the experience is less relevant since it was designed as a solo game at first, with a single player able to control two characters at the same time.

Trover Saves the universe is a basic platformer/action game, served by Justin Roiland's inimitable style and acting. Therefore, if you want to really enjoy the absurd and surrealist adventure of Trover through the entire space, you'd better really like the guy's tone, otherwise you will find a jolly VR game, not nothing unforgettable.

MotoGP 19 is much better than its previous edition. The content is at the rendezvous and it is adaptable to most styles of players. Whether you want to find the best settings in manual mode or you want to enjoy the helps provided and ride in 5 minutes it will satisfy you. For the next year, we ask for a graphic evolution and a scenario in career mode. This will give more to an already very complete game.

Excellence in Formula One. That's what comes to mind when it comes to summarize the qualities of F1 2019. Extremely complete, very well thought out at all levels, this 2019 edition has everything to seduce. Whether you are a motor sports enthusiast or a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed. By mixing the beloved world of Hyrule with the rhythm-based strategy of Brace Yourself's game, the studio delivers a colorful but brief adventure, served by a pleasant and varied soundtrack all along.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled offers you tons of content, a high quality visual redesign, new features (characters, circuits, customization, skins, etc.). It is a dive into the past that is absolutely not deceptive. This remake is remarkable.

My Friend Pedro is an enchanting action game, that lets you kill dozens and dozens of henchmen with a lot of style, and a huge smile on your face. That's all we asked for, and we surely would have loved some more, but it's totally fine like this - except if you like interesting stories that make sense, which is not the case here.

If you're into post-Symphony of the Night Castlevania, you will find with Bloodstained : Ritual of the Night what you wanted. It doesn' have the name or the same setting, but the feeling and the atmosphere are the same, with some very generous content and a lot of nods to the Konami series. It could have been a lot more polished visually speaking, felt more of like a game of this era, but how can we be frustrated to get what Koji Igarashi and his team were expected to do?
