An awesome game. There was very little that I found wrong with this game.

I just think the game fails at some very small but critical facets, and as a result the game has lost some of the charm it could have had.

If you have any love for the sport of tennis and own a PSP then Smash Court Tennis 3 is a great game to add to your library.

The story does a good job of keeping the enjoyment of the game alive. Yes, you might put the game back on your shelf once you beat it, seeing as how the mini games don't offer you much.

If you love those old 50's and 60's movies with aliens or giant insects then Earth Defense Force: Alien Armageddon has an endless supply of both, mixed with exciting gameplay, and even a bit of thoughtful strategy when it comes to choosing your class, customizing their weapons, and prioritizing your targets. Play it alone or play it with friends…just make sure you play it.

JumpStart Escape from Adventure Island will probably never win an award from any of the critical masses. But the game is a big hit with the intended folks, and is a surprisingly solid learning game.

I enjoyed the refreshing diversity of the 40+ track sections you get to experience as you cross our great country.

It fails to innovate as much as it promised. The courses are longer and there are more of them. The weapons are more advanced and so is the AI of the other racers, so winning will take strategy and skill.

I would recommend Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs to just about anyone looking for a totally fun and moderately challenging gameplay experience with all of the flavor and style of the Ice Age movies.

It encourages multiplayer adventures by making it extremely easy and fun to hook-up, but doesn’t reward your efforts by tweaking the gameplay or rewards for the extra members.

The type of game you and a friend will rent, get home with, open up, start playing and both say “This is awesome” simultaneously. Unfortunately a half hour later you will both want to play something else because your fun level has just plummeted nose first into the ground.

The cryptic and eerie story adds to the title's appeal and will draw you in almost immediately. If you are looking for the next step in innovation, look no further than The Experiment.

Advent Rising is interactive fiction at its finest. This is what "Halo" wanted to be; hell, it's what "Star Wars" wanted to be. Orson can write circles around George Lucas when it comes to stories, characters, and dialogue.

Alas, I came to terms with the fact that if anyone wants to get the full enjoyment from this game, you have to be online at all times. There just isn't anything about the offline single player that makes you want to repeat doing the same old missions over and over again. The most enjoyable times are going to be during conquest mode taking out team territories and progressing through the story with friends at your side. You'll have bad times and good times all while enjoying the company of those that see you as a comrade in arms and a fellow gamer

It’s long, and it’s deep with ample replay potential for those of you that enjoy such games. Otherwise, it’s very hard to recommend to someone new to the genre. Once you get the hang of it, SAW is very well researched and quite challenging.

Despite some problematic controls and repetitive gameplay, TRON 2.0: Killer App is one of the better GBA titles of the year and a worthy addition to the Tron legacy.

Whether you rent this game or buy it, just make sure you play it. Many hours of hardcore WWE entertainment await you.

I enjoyed Men of War: Vietnam a lot more than I initially thought I would. The game design favors action and strategy over resource management, and the level of difficulty, while daunting for most, was a refreshing change from the more casual military offerings out there these days.

I plan to keep Space Empires V installed on my hard drive alongside upcoming A-list titles like Star Trek: Legacy. After all, every strategy fan needs a game that’s a little slower placed but offers so many complex choices.

Playing this game is, overlooking a few control issues, just simply enjoyable. There is nothing too demanding in the way of strategy, it's just a matter of shooting everything.

I found the game quite disappointing when I could not solve the mystery but rather hear the murderer tell the tale at the end about why they did it and some of how.

It’s this opened-ended type of storytelling mixed with diverse gameplay that makes True Crime: Streets of L.A. a decent console port and one of the better action games you can play on the PC.

My current favorite fighting game on any system. It's realistic, but more importantly, it’s fun, and you won’t find a better game to pop in your PS2 the next time you have friends over.

It has a very simplistic strategic level that amounts to rolling craps when deciding who and where to attack.

Some of the aspects of the game that were frustrating to me also make the game more suitable for younger players: the challenge of earning enough money to care for your pet can teach kids responsibility and the value of prioritizing and planning their spending, and the factors that limit daily game time (like your pony’s stamina) can help build good habits of taking breaks between bouts of gaming.

Still, flawed as I found The White Wolf of Icicle Creek to be, I enjoyed it. A lot. It isn't terribly challenging of course, but it still has a sense of mystery to it that makes it intriguing and perhaps nostalgic for those of us who survived puberty and fondly remember good old Nancy Drew.

It’s definitely not the best game on the NCAA court, but it is worthy of a second look.

As a children's game The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer succeeds spectacularly. It's a perfect game to plop down your child in front of without having to worry about content or frustration.

This mix of tried and true RTS gameplay along with the polished production values added by an outstanding soundtrack and visual effects engine does much to enhance this game, but leaves the entire experience a little lopsided.

There is a unique and clever mix of various game styles that keeps things fresh (always good when fish are involved) but there are a few difficult hurdles that might stump the younger crowd and require some parental or sibling assistance.

The combination of zombies and alien brains is unbeatable, in theory and in execution in this fun and charming DS puzzle title.

But why try the rest when you already have the best? Just Cause is competently done, but it fails to put anything truly new on the table, making San Esperito a nice place to visit, but not to live.

Probably not worth much more than a simple weekend rental.

I've played less than ten games on my PS3 and reviewed only three and I'm proud to count SOCOM 4 as one of those games. Playing this game solo brought back memories of Full Spectrum Warrior with all the squad-based tactics and ordering options, and playing co-op was like reliving all my best Tom Clancy moments, and the online versus modes had all the fun of MAG with the added bonus of the incredible Bomb Squad mode. And while it may never be able to compete with Call of Duty in sheer popularity, SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs definitely wins when it comes to reality.

This title might not be for everyone but it was an extremely enjoyable experience for me, and I recommend picking up Nier for anyone that enjoys games for the story that they contain and not how they look.

What it lacks in originality it more than makes up for in addictively fun mayhem.

The production values, graphics, and especially the voice acting are extremely well done, and the game has non-stop action and never feels dull.

While the game was awesome, the PC port was less then stellar. The censorship is another area while I was less then pleased.

Web of Shadows assembles a great cast of heroes and villains, combines them with a fantastic story, and integrates an intuitive and exciting control scheme and evolving combat system that easily makes this the best Spider-Man game ever made to date for any system.

While not the most polished title around, Close Combat: First to Fight should give you wannabe jarheads out there enough of a fight for a while, especially in the decent Co-Op mode.

This is one creepy, horror adventure game that not only features solid gameplay (the point and click style) but also an amazingly good storyline. It boasts good graphics, sound, and interesting puzzles that never become tedious or annoying.

I suppose PaRappa might find a niche fan base on the PSP, but most of us will be seeking our musical entertainment elsewhere.

Overall Shadowrun is worth the expense as a first person multiplayer game but some extra content would be nice.

Combines solid graphics with time-tested gameplay from the classic X-com series. Sadly, this title has far too many glitches and its lack of diversity hurts it greatly in the long run. Only hardcore fans of the infamous series should check this title out.

RailWorks 3: Train Simulator 2012 has a lot to offer those that have a diehard passion for trains of all types. It definitely adds some new features to the series that they will appreciate.

Despite the lackluster presentation, the core card gameplay in the World Championship Poker 2 is solid. Fans of poker should definitely find the game both challenging and entertaining.

Tank Universal is a great throwback to VR, TRON, Battlezone, and just plain old-school gaming full of action and strategy.

This isn’t much of a Looney Tunes game as you are only conducting music. You may want to wait for this to drop even lower than its $19.99 price value if you must get it. I’d vouch for another music game, though.

The controls are intuitive and the combat intense.

If you want a straightforward simple game of college basketball with nice graphics, March Madness is the one for you. But overall, 2K7 is the more complete college game.

The trick system is overwhelming in scope and the difficulty is challenging yet rewarding once you master its nuances.

I definitely recommend taking Romance of Rome for the iPhone for a spin. It's a worthy addition to the App Store and the adventure genre.

The Hobbit is not a bad game, or a glitchy game. It's just not a particularly inspired game.

In short, if you liked The Sims Medieval, you're likely to find Pirates & Nobles pretty fun, too-as long as you keep in mind that it's an adventure pack, not an honest-to-goodness expansion. Hopefully, they'll iron out the bugs in upcoming patches, and maybe we'll eventually have the interactive swashbuckling action many of us were looking forward to. In the meantime, this quest pack will do.

Obviously, this is a game targeted to a specific audience, and while non-Transformers fans will find plenty to like it might be best as a rental. But for those who thrive in the world of high-tech morphing robots, the Battle for the AllSpark is a most tempting gameplay feature that will have thousands of gamers making daily contributions to the ongoing war.

The graphics are a touch better and the sound is much more dynamic, and all the extra content really puts a nice polish on an already-excellent game.

The bad dialogue took away for the otherwise sold Egyptian feel to the title.

Sure, it may not be on par with the classic light gun shooters mentioned earlier, but NERF N-Strike Elite definitely provides an experience the whole family can enjoy.

I would enjoy SimCity any time, and veterans of this series will love SimCity Creator immensely, while newcomers will enjoy it even as they learn to play this unique city-building simulation. One caveat; I wouldn’t recommend this game if you do not have the time to invest.

Overall, Mahjong Cub3d is a solid title if you enjoy puzzles and have a fondness for Mahjong Solitaire. At $30, it's a budget title for the 3DS, but it's still a considerable amount of cash. Still, the title packs a solid amount of play time, and it's a refreshing take on a classic game. If you're a puzzle fan looking for a title on the 3DS, Mahjong Cub3d is a good choice.

If you must play the game on the old Xbox you'll still have a good time; albeit a lonely time. Just don't play it on the 360 or you might never be satisfied with your classic system again. Tony has definitely made the jump to next-gen and you might want to do the same.

My biggest complaints with Kill Team are the length – it's needs to be about twice as long, and the local-only co-op mode that doesn't allowed the second player to log in with their gamer profile. This means that only the primary player earns achievements. Despite these two glaring flaws, Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is a total blast for as long as it lasts, and one of the best co-op experiences I've had on XBLA ever.

Smash Cars has managed to make an RC racer believer out of me. While I doubt I will be running to my hobby shop to invest in a $200 RC truck or car (one that I would probably break my first time out) I will certainly be spending countless hours driving these miniature racers in one of the best PS2 racing games I have played this year.

While this game manages a flawless presentation worthy of the X-File legacy, the gameplay deviates from the detective-styled adventure offerings of the past and chooses a more intense action style that might put off the more casual gamer.

While Acclaim has managed to make a game that is better than any of the other attempts at a home edition NBA Jam still doesn't live up to the arcade original and falls short of other arcade hoops like "NBA Street" and "NBA Showtime."

A unique racing experience that isn’t quite arcade and certainly not simulation. As long as you know what to expect going in you won’t be disappointed and you might even be a bit surprised.

It’s easy to use and understand menus and information pages make for fun gameplay and quick results when you know what to change to improve your citizen’s lives.

Dynasty Warriors Next was the second title that I got to experience on the Vita and I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with this mobile offering. At its heart is the same old combat that fans love, but there is enough added Vita supported functions to make Dynasty Warriors Next the new evolution in large scale combat on the small screen.

As much as I seem to be overloaded with the amount of zombie media out now, All Zombies Must Die!, really held my interest much longer than I thought it would. It's good old-fashioned enjoyable zombie slaying fun with plenty of humor to go around. Doublesix took their previous endeavor and made something even better by adding RPG elements.

BloodRayne 2 could have been great if the gamepad support wasn’t so quirky, but the PC version is just too clunky to recommend unless this is your only alternative.

Top Spin admittedly fills a much-needed gap in the tennis genre, but if this is the best the sport has to offer it’s time to find a new sport, or at least a new system to play it on.

Even those that aren’t well versed in managing a living, breathing city-scape, will be right at home here, with an easy to navigate interface, and simplified economic models.

I am very excited to finally see a quality racing game for the GameCube console.

As with the previous expansion packs, The Sims 3: Showtime provides many hours of new content and storytelling options for those who enjoy The Sims 3, with the additional perk of allowing players to interact with each other while they game. Admittedly, many of the experiences might feel familiar if you've already played previous expansions and Sims iterations, but it also brings back some fan favorites and is all in all a decently solid addition to the Sims fan's library.

Younger kids will likely be turned off by the simplistic game designs and even simpler graphics and sound, then again, there is nothing like a good father-son rivalry and dad might just have a chance with one of the eight games waiting inside this classic collection.

If you enjoy the Sega classics, you will get some enjoyment out of seeing some old characters revolutionized in new HD graphics, but if you are unfamiliar then you may not be interested.

So if you’re a Harry Potter fan you’ll like this game and understand why everything had to be the way the way it is, but unfortunately, the game can become tedious and boring because action is few and far between.

MVP Baseball has all the makings of a great game but it lacks the polish and refinement and just has too many glitches to make a wholehearted recommendation. There’s always next season.
