Bringing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to the 3DS in 2018 might seem strange at first but after a few minutes this will immediately appear as a good decision. Featuring a marvelous 3D effect and an experience that does not fall short of that of it its Wii U and Switch counterparts, this 3DS version of Treasure Tracker only makes concessions on the visual performance and replaces a number of levels with others but that is in no way an obstacle towards making this a marvelous piece of gaming.- FNintendo

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX represents the ending of the Dusk Trilogy and of the three games in this effort, it represents the best and the most accessible title of all. With its improvements and updates to gameplay mechanics, Atelier Shallie more than justifies its recommendation within the Nintendo Switch catalogue, even if the plot requires knowing the previous two games but that's not an impediment at all.- FNintendo

World of Goo makes its arrival on the Nintendo Switch and almost ten years after its debut on the Wii, the game has not lost any of the quality that made it a reference for puzzle games. World of Goo's magnificent production values, where its rich visuals and remarkable soundtrack are key, its gameplay mechanics that follow the laws of physics and the amount of content make this a game that clearly stands out above its competitors, even in a segment as large as puzzle games made by indie developers.- FNintendo

Mario & Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story is not a new name but this 3DS remaster is still a welcome effort thanks to its top-notch RPG mechanics with lovely visuals and sound, as well as its trademark humour and fun. While the new Bowser Jr. element doe not operate a revolution, the game's overall experience is nothing short of fun and it fits very nicely in the series' legacy.- FNintendo

With its fun gameplay mechanics and marvelous art style, Creature in the Well's qualities far outweigh its sense of repetitiveness and absence of a more pronounced audio component. A very original and welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue that everyone should try.- FNintendo

As a port of a game that is well-known by millions of players, there is nothing truly surprising in 3D Sonic the Hedgehog, but it has become the definitive version of the Mega Drive classic. An almost flawless adaptation, and definitely one of the best eShop games available, despite the obvious lack of a widescreen mode.- FNintendo

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe brings two of the most iconic 2D platformers of the Wii U to the Nintendo Switch under one game in an edition that represents the peak of what those games can achieve, there's no doubt on that side. What it does not manage to do, however, is to provide incentives for those who already know the originals well enough, for those players New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe will simply feel like a repetition of a previous experience.- FNintendo

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden - Deluxe Edition treats the player to a very good and competent blend of exploration and strategy which coupled with its simple but compelling plot and art style helps to make a game that can easily keep the player concentrated in the game for a long time. Overall, the experience could only improve if Mutant Year Zero : Road to Eden - Deluxe Edition featured a multiplayer mode.- FNintendo

Pokémon Sun & Moon are among the best entries in the series and while it doesn't break any significant new grounds, Game Freak's latest opus adds an additional layer of strategic planning to the gameplay and features a beautiful audiovisual environment topped with the series' best plot so far. It's not very clear where Poké Finder fits in and the performance is less on par in the original 3DS but the Pokémon series is definitely showing that it's still alive and kicking...and worthy of the players' attention.- FNintendo

NES Remix is a toast to the good old times. It succeeds in evoking memories of the NES classics, and it shows, in a certain way, how a collection of games can be a good substitute of some of the titles available on Virtual Console.- FNintendo

Featuring all the hallmarks of the animation series, with emphasis on its acidic humour, The Stick of Truth brings a good and simple combat system and a plot that will have fans falling all over it. While the lifespan could be longer, it's harder to understand the logic behind suppressing some elements, while leaving other potentially bolder elements in, but this ends up not harming what is a fun and insanely amusing RPG based on one of the most popular animated series out there.- FNintendo

Football Manager Touch 2018 is the first game of the Football Manager series to land on the Nintendo Switch and while it may not be the definite version of Football Manager 2018, it's certainly a successful adaptation to the Nintendo Switch format. Thanks to its quick-paced fluid gameplay, the game can be easily played on a handheld basis and its interface fits the Nintendo Switch touch screen perfectly. While there are technical issues to solve and the game lacks an online component, this version of Football Manager is certainly a welcome contribution to the Nintendo Switch catalog.- FNintendo

Ring Fit Adventure could have simply been a plain fitness app but Nintendo would never let that happen. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia brings the series back to its origins in several ways. Featuring a very captivating plot and cast as well as some new and welcome gameplay elements, it leaves the feeling that this game is putting Fire Emblem back on its original course. Even if some of its missions might feel uninspired and the combat excessive at times, this is still a very good omen for upcoming Fire Emblem games.- FNintendo
