Pokémon Shuffle is a very addictive and well implemented puzzle game which is bound to be enjoyed by both fans of simple puzzle games and Pokémon fans. The micro-transactions scheme does need some work, though, and the waiting time is disproportionate compared to the overall playing time.- FNintendo

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 brings Mario & Sonic once again to the next edition of the Olympic Games and the series' first game on the Nintendo Switch also means the return of motion controls, as well as a 2D retro-style section directed at the more old school demographic. The game's main plot is only available as a single player experience, which feels like a shortcoming but the game's new additions, events and minigames are certain to make for some very fun hours, even more so in the company of other players.- FNintendo

Bleed is short, simple and effective, full of frantic actions and challenging enough to earn the right to have the players' attention. While its price tag might seem too steep for a game that has been around for a few years now, the action-packed nature of the game, along with its variety make it a piece of work that is definitely worth checking out.- FNintendo

Deep Sky Derelicts brings a lot of things and two of them stand out: a roguelike approach to exploration and a turn-based RPG take on combat under the form of cards. Along with rich amount of character customization, this makes the game an enjoyable experience, but one that requires some time investment before it bears fruit. Some elements aren't very practical either when it comes to the functioning of the game, but more dedicated players will find their way around.- FNintendo

The Sexy Brutale is a witty, creative and inviting game that brings together adventure, puzzle-solving and repeating time cycles to form a piece of gaming that is as funny as it can be disturbing. While it could use less trial and error and its freezing moments are a bit too much, this is certainly a pleasure to explore.- FNintendo

Miitopia puts the player at the centre of a plot with plenty of possibilities to shape and mold according to each one's will and this is certainly one of the game's biggest assets. The characters' mechanics are also very well executed and will keep the player's interest sharp, even if it could do better at keeping the player's role more active throughout the game.- FNintendo

Its required use of a trial and error approach may put off some players and it certainly feels short for anyone completing it in one go but that doesn't harm this being a pleasant and amusing experience.- FNintendo

Bringing a 2D shooter into the contemporary world means that more recent players will get to experience a style that was extremely popular in earlier days, while more experienced players will get to add one more title to their background. Ghost Blade HD is visually stunning and jumps immediately into action, only falling short of expectation on its length and soundtrack but this is definitely a work that is worth getting hands on.- FNintendo

Nightshade adds another title to the visual novel segment of the Nintendo Switch catalogue and it stands out thanks to an involving plot with very sombre overtones, multiple endings, a good art style and exceptional voice work. Its occasional clichés are easily overcome in this work that is certain to captivate fans of the visual novel genre.- FNintendo

Race the Sun offers a simple yet addictive and frantic-paced old-school racing action. The level design fits perfectly with its style and the ever-changing shape of the levels in 24-hour cycles adds a very welcome touch of challenge. Shame for the lack of a multiplayer mode, given the means available.- FNintendo

Thanks to a very well crafted plot and soundtrack, this game adds something new and welcome to the catalog of the Nintendo Switch. While its combats could be more involving and the game's price is too steep for what it is, this is a very well designed piece of work that deserves its place.- FNintendo

Super Cane Magic ZERO is a 2D action RPG that thanks to its animation art style and absurdly funny plot, stands as one of the most original games of its genre in recent times. Players who pick it up will be further rewarded by its local cooperative multiplayer component, even if there are aspects related to loading times, the overall audio environment and instructions given to the player that could be improved.- FNintendo

Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails is more than a throwback to the 16-bit era, it’s an action-packed challenge on rails, guaranteed to keep the most demanding players closely around its simple, yet demanding concept. The jumping mechanics could use a more accessible learning curve, but anyone who plays this will have their entertainment needs properly fulfilled.- FNintendo

This individual effort by the name of Unepic triggers a craving for exploration in an action-platform and adventure style, akin to the early Castlevania games. There are shortcomings and points which require a greater polishing, but the elements are all here to become an instant hit with its audience.- FNintendo

Gunman Clive 2 is a welcome platformer, designed on a similar track as other 2D action platformers. Its art style sets it apart, though, and the marvelous details and graphical environment are a delight to look at. On the downside, its lifespan feels shorter and some instances, such as the flying stages, feel out of place.- FNintendo

Its world, plot and characters are vivid and a pleasure to discover with a background of lovely visuals and a very fairy tale-like environment. Not all is a success though, and several aspects had to be sacrificed, which means those expecting a more hardcore and orthodox RPG will be disappointed.- FNintendo

This remaster of one of the most influential games of the last generation gets the basics right but fails in other important aspects. The sound quality is quite weak and it delivers a visually inferior performance compared to the other versions of the same remaster, which cannot be justified with the Nintendo Switch hardware. However, truth of the matter is that it gives Nintendo players the chance of getting their hands on this marvelous work for the first time, with the added bonus of playing it wherever they want. That alone is worthy of praise.- FNintendo

A stunning looking RPG with fun interactions and gameplay, Yo-Kai Watch packs over one hundred hours of lifespan to explore fully. While it could have invested more in developing its plot, it's a very welcome arrival to the European market of a game that has spawned a successful series in its home country.- FNintendo

Aqua Kitty UDX may have an unusual premise but its core gameplay is still that of a 2D arcade-style shooter and one which does a satisfying job at that. While it could certainly be more demanding in terms of difficulty level, it offers some fun moments and its local co-op mode is certainly an asset.- FNintendo

INVERSUS Deluxe is a fun game that is quick to get into and provides a good multiplayer experience. It might not be as rewarding as one could wish but overall, the game offers a series of options that make it fun enough to be worth spending several hours with, especially on local multiplayer and with several friends thrown in the mix.- FNintendo

Its low selling price makes up for not being the series' ultimate version and for the absence of some elements that were part of previous iterations of Toki Tori. Its appeal, however, will be mostly limited to fans of the genre.- FNintendo

Undead Nightmare Storm tries to bring some variety to the worn-out zombie genre but it doesn't manage to break any new ground. It's still a fun and addictive challenge and if only it had more fine-tuned controls, a more accessible multiplayer and a bit more work on the graphics, this would be a 3DS eShop cult classic.- FNintendo

The game looks absolutely gorgeous and the variety of backdrops and fauna only adds to its charms. Planet Alpha could do more when it comes to the game's length and difficulty level, as it feels like the experience can end rather quickly but its accessible gameplay will easily win fans of different tastes and experiences.- FNintendo

The way the game is presented, it's mostly an experience recommended for those already familiar with the saga, as the game's different outcomes, simple combats and relative lack of new elements compared to the previous chapters make this more difficult to get into for newcomers.- FNintendo

Gal Metal is not the average music/rhythm game. It's not the average game either, it's a very unconventional work and in a good sense, as the game's unusual premise certainly required an unusual gameplay. While its lifespan is certainly the game's Achilles heel and the repertoire of songs could be bigger, Gal Metal is still something worth checking out not just for fans of rhythm games but for all those looking to try something different.- FNintendo

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX follows the footsteps of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series and does so in a very fun and competent way. Thanks to its fluid and simple controls, frantic gameplay and defying bosses, this is a perfect work for those who enjoyed its predecessors and inspirations, even if it has some rough edges when it comes to its boss fights and soundtrack.- FNintendo

This point and click adventure is rich in humor and plot, with a top-notch vocal work and two different control systems, whether it's played on a television screen or on the Switch screen. While its difficulty is sometimes off the mark on some puzzles and some of the missions are too easy, fans of point and click adventures will undoubtedly have a very good time with Nelly Cootalot.- FNintendo

Featuring an interesting premise and a rich, dynamic plot, Lone Wolf could improve its control system, which doesn't fully use the console's capacities, and often feels too close to its original version made for mobile devices than to a game designed for a dedicated console.- FNintendo
