Etrian Odyssey Untold is a successful and well-executed remake which does a superb job at introducing the series to newcomers, as well as to rekindling the interest of its veterans. The game's enormous lifespan, its wide variety of locations and magnificent remastered soundtrack more than make for a rather simple narrative.- FNintendo

Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven is one delightful gem of the 3DS eShop catalog. Even if it might take a while to settle in and its amounts of text may be a bit too much for some players, it rewards everyone with an enveloping plot and very well implemented character developments.- FNintendo

FreezeMe doesn't hide its references to the great platforming classics of before, blending them with a contemporary game that involves a lot of pigs and freezing enemies through a camera. While its camera angles and jump mechanics need improvement, this is a delightful platformer that will appeal to both the players familiar with the classics and those who are giving their first steps in this style.- FNintendo

Pocket Card Jockey may have a strange concept but the way it's implemented is certain to leave players holding to their 3DS for a very long time. Its originality, comical plot and artwork will capture the players' attention and its structure will make it seem like a perfect game for short sessions, which will eventually grow into very long sessions as the player goes back and forth between horse racing and Solitary games, with the development of the horse's characteristics in between.- FNintendo

Drawing inspiration from series such as Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, Rune Factory 4 may not stand out for its plot but its gameplay mechanics are more than rewarding. The long lasting contents and different options are set to keep the players closely connected with the game for a long time and even though the initial phase may drag itself for too long, what follows is a plentiful and involving JPRG.- FNintendo

Streets of Rogue is a fun and action packed game that gives the player a major amount of freedom to choose the style of play, an absurdly high amount of playable characters and some guaranteed multiplayer fun. If roguelike fans will definitely enjoy this work, there is no reason why anyone else who likes action experiences that don't take long to carry out should pass on this opportunity.- FNintendo

The free-for-all fighting festival makes its entry in the 3DS with an excellent technical performance, a memorable soundtrack and a significant lifespan, all of which contribute to make this a very solid bet for Nintendo's portable machine.- FNintendo

Bringing Out Run to the 3DS under the name of 3D Out Run is an excellent way to get this Sega classic back into the stream. Keeping the same spirit as the 1980s racing hit, 3D Out Run is a perfect conversion to the handheld format and all that made the original game a cult classic is on its place.- FNintendo

Grim Fandango Remastered delivers exactly what it promises: a remaster of the noir comedy classic, with all the elements that made it an iconic name in the gaming world. Featuring improvements that bring the game closer to the current generation while keeping its overall structure exactly where it has always been, Grim Fandango Remastered is a very good option for newcomers and veterans, even if the former may find some of the puzzles unclear at first.- FNintendo

Fantasy Life is a colossal adventure game with RPG elements and which offers an almost endless amount of content for the player to get lost with. Packing nearly 100 hours of gameplay with all the extras and side quests, Fantasy Life could use a faster pace for its main story mode and some flaws on the multiplayer mode could use an additional touch, but any fan of adventure games and who appreciates a touch of RPG will be more than happy with this piece.- FNintendo

Extreme Exorcism is a delightfully fun and charmingly chaotic experience which renovates itself with each round of play. Boosted by a visual and sound environment that fit its concept perfectly, it would gain even more if only it featured an online component.- FNintendo

While not all dimensions of the two series could be fully preserved and some of the characters miss out compared with the original games, Persona Q is highly recommended for fans of both, not leaving out new players who will feel more enticed to explore them.- FNintendo

This remake of Link's Awakening is by most ways the ultimate version of the Zelda classic. With additional content, a much-improved item assignment system and consequent gameplay improvements, a new difficulty level and a marvelous visual style, the new Link's Awakening is a joy to play and the experience would be even better if the new Chamber Dungeon component offered more options.- FNintendo

Any doubts that could still be lingering about Nintendo's first production for the mobile segment have been dissipated: Super Mario Run is a marvelous 2D platformer which Nintendo adapted to the guise of an endless runner, in order to make it more playable in a mobile device. Its beautiful graphics, overall fluidity and loyalty to the Mario universe make this one memorable 2D platformer that no fan should go without, provided they can always be connected to the internet when playing, that is.- FNintendo

Animal Crossing's in-game social component seems to be growing at a never-ending rate. Happy Home Designer keeps treading that path and its main activities focus on one of the players' favourite aspects of the series, home decoration. With an enormous wealth of resources and its simple, intuitive controls, this is a perfect introduction to the series and a potential major influence to its next chapter.- FNintendo

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto may be landing a few years late on the Nintendo Switch but this fourth chapter in this particular Naruto series of games has plenty to go for. With a fluid, intense combat, an impressive array of characters and an art style that is faithful to that found in the animation series, this is a game that is at the same time considerate of newcomers and which will make veterans and fans feel right at home.- FNintendo

This crossover between Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright brings the best of two worlds into one game. With its very well thought and executed concept, Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright is set to charm fans of both series alike. It does miss out, though, on the quantity and quality of the puzzles offered, as well as on the lacklustre outcome of its plot, perhaps a casualty of such an ambitious crossover.- FNintendo

Thimbleweed Park brings back the point and click genre for a fun and well developed effort full of good sense of humour and interesting puzzles to solve. This War of Mine puts the player at the centre of an absorbing war environment and uses its original gameplay mechanics to present a series of intense challenges that will make anyone who picks it up embed themselves with the game up to a surprising level. While there are technical issues that should be corrected, This War of Mine comes out mostly unscathed in its role as a story of war and survival.- FNintendo

Torna is a marvelous expansion of the no less amazing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Adding to what the original game already does good, Torna manages to improve the combat system and acts as a very good buildup on the original game's plot.
