Devious Dungeon features a fairly interesting progression system, along with a healthy variety of enemies for the roguelike game that it is. Bridge Constructor Portal does a very good job at blending the two series and at portraying the world of Portal in the Bridge Constructor series. The game features well defined gameplay mechanics and a long lifespan, as well as some unexpected humour, which makes up for its rather high price compared to the version available for mobile platforms.

The content is short on both quantity and quality, some of the minigames are just badly designed, one of its game modes is way too repetitive and dull to provide any fun and the soundtrack adds nothing to the experience. As far as party games are concerned, Scribblenauts Showdown is not worthy of the players' dedication.

Castle of Heart may seem appealing when looking at its still pictures but once the game starts moving, a more unpleasant reality kicks in: it's hard to control, the difficulty level is forced and at the same time, unchallenging and the game suffers from several design flaws that make this experience really difficult to enjoy. While its visuals are decent, this is not an enjoyable game to play.

Fear Effect Sedna marks the return of a well-regarded series from the early days of the 21st century. Featuring enjoyable animation cut scenes and a quality soundtrack, this Nintendo Switch version ends up losing to its counterparts when played in handheld mode, as many of the details become too small to be visible on the screen. Also the game's plot does not attempt to make a bridge to new players, who won't feel a connection with the game's story and its strategic component is less interesting than expected.

The Alliance Alive is a successful effort at justifying why the 3DS is still relevant. Thanks to its wide and varied world, well implemented sense of progression, in-depth combat system and rich visual component, this is an RPG that should feature in a great number of 3DS systems, even as the console is past its prime.

It doesn't fulfill all its promises, however, as the lack of guidance can make the experience more frustrating and there is not enough variety regarding the puzzles to keep the players entertained for a long period of time.

Fantasy Hero ~unsigned legacy~ tries to contribute to the RPG segment of the Nintendo Switch catalog and it features some interesting elements of progression but overall, its action gets repetitive and dull too quickly early on. The game's visuals and sound also betray its age, meaning that it's not in a position to provide a pleasant audiovisual experience either, which only gets aggravated by several flaws that should have been corrected.

Toki Tori 2+: Nintendo Switch Edition is the ultimate version of the second chapter of the series. Thanks to its beautiful art style and soundtrack, extended lifespan, overall gameplay improvements and fine-tuned difficulty progression, there is very little standing in the way between the player and the many good, fun, involving hours around this game. Truly a very recommended title for any Nintendo Switch owner.

Thanks to a very well crafted plot and soundtrack, this game adds something new and welcome to the catalog of the Nintendo Switch. While its combats could be more involving and the game's price is too steep for what it is, this is a very well designed piece of work that deserves its place.

Featuring an interesting premise and a rich, dynamic plot, Lone Wolf could improve its control system, which doesn't fully use the console's capacities, and often feels too close to its original version made for mobile devices than to a game designed for a dedicated console.

Not all works fine and it should be pointed out that there are several elements on a technical level where the game does not go as far as it could and which end up harming the experience, while the game rhythm too feels a bi broken at certain moments.

Darkest Dungeon is an ambitious game that features impressive details, a very complete and thorough atmosphere and a complex gameplay. Its experience ends up getting harmed by the arbitrary factors that come into play on certain moments and the overall difficulty level can be quite hard in the beginning of the game but there is no mistake in regarding Darkest Dungeon as major title within the indie scene.

Wanderjahr TryAgainOrWalkAway is based on the JRPG style and adds a large combat component to it, bringing along a strategic component, a fun and simple adventure and a commendable soundtrack. Not everything hits the right spot, though, as the controls are in need of a reshape, the game's plot has no sense of direction and it often feels more like the kind of game to play on a phone or on a tablet than on a gaming console.

Mad Carnage is simple enough to get into, which by itself is positive. Thanks to its cartoon art style and lack of technical issues, the game's first impressions are overall positive but unfortunately, this does not stand for too long, as the levels quickly feel repetitive and the gameplay mechanics end up being too simple for its own good, resulting in a game that is more dull than it should be.

This is a competent game that does its job right and creates something that can be enjoyed on a rather simple level. It does not fend off a feeling of repetitiveness, though, as eventually the players will start feeling that they are doing the same actions over and over again.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound brings back the point and click genre to a game with a captivating plot that features characters with distinct personalities and a series of puzzles that will make players wonder how they could not solve them before. While the control system could use some improvements, Unbound is an overall involving experience that will strike a chord with many players out there.

Its physics system is worthy of praise and the visual environment fits well within the game but after a while, Baseball Riot becomes too repetitive and the game features nothing that makes it really unique or that sets it apart from other like-minded games.
