Two Point Campus is a production of excellence, able to meet not only the favor of enthusiasts, but also to bring neophytes to the genre. The immediacy of the controls, the excellent learning curve and the goliardic tones of the experience make the work a perfect entry point for players curious to try their hand at the management universe for the first time. At the same time, the depth of gameplay and the incredible amount of content can only excite the veterans of this specific videogame branch.

Dirt 5 wants to be an immediate racing game, accessible and devoted to pure fun, at the cost of sacrificing a realistic driving system and embracing a physics that is at times hyperbolic and saucy. Racing or rally purists be warned: here they will find "only" a lot of mud, drifting and collisions in abundance, with almost no room for lap times and technicalities. Too bad for a fluctuating technical sector lacking in terms of optimization on consoles.

Accompanied by wonderful pixel art and a soothing soundtrack, Unpacking rises from being a simple moving puzzle game to becoming a manifesto on environmental narrative, capable of teaching school for its incredible effectiveness.

Rather than a full blown sequel, Splatoon 2 frankly feels more like an (impressive) extension of the original episode, especially if you've been splatting around since 2015. Players of the Wii U chapter will truly feel at home, with a sense of familiarity that will certainly replace the stunning surprise effect that made the franchise so unique, while the newcomers will have the pleasure to experience one of the best and most original shooters ever created (one the perfectly embodies the so called “Nintendo Difference”). That said, with more courage and better online options this sequel would have been even more impressive.

Stray is a changing adventure in its playful and fascinating proposal thanks to its powerful artistic direction. As the credits roll, summing them up, perhaps the main limitations of the work are perceived: a story steeped in mystery, coherent and exciting with its own scenario, but perhaps not entirely capable of leaving its mark as it should in the finale.

There is still something that drags him into the past, such as the atavistic static nature of the characters waiting for our input, but the leap in quality is clear, in every single aspect of the game.

Kirby and the Lost Land returns to Nintendo Switch 2 in an improved and expanded version. For those who have never explored the post-apocalyptic landscapes explored by HAL Laboratory's little pink sphere, this is the perfect opportunity to revisit a fun, colorful platformer with brilliant art direction. The challenge level is generally on the low side, but those who are determined to rescue all the Waddle Dees and Astrals will have plenty to enjoy, especially in the additional levels offered by the Astral World expansion. Building on the foundations of the original title, this expansion manages to offer a fresh perspective on a selection of Kirby and the Lost Land levels, focusing primarily on vertical exploration. The only regret is that the content didn't include more original opponents to test the amazing powers of our little pink sphere.

Age of Mythology Retold is the dream of all fans of the old title by Ensemble Studios: it allows you to play what is basically a remake with a visibly improved technical department and many small new features on the gameplay front. It is therefore an opportunity to discover or rediscover this real-time strategy, perhaps taking advantage of its presence in the Game Pass console and PC catalog.

Episode two is probably the best iteration of the Sam & Max series: with its circular structure, its explosive irony and its oiled mechanisms, it is very difficult to find a flaw. Maybe English language could be a problem for non-native language people, but a dictionary can solve any problem.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD is a game that feels the weight of years. Far from being unplayable or not attractive, you can not cross over the imperfections of the control system, on a plot that is not too daring and partly on a too-flat concept level design.

The result is entertainment with no playful frills but absolutely brilliant, which in its run out rather quickly will still make the admirers of manifestly “meta” digital productions happy; a space within which TERRORbane, from here on, will certainly be among the leading exponents.

Resistance is a solid PS3 Exclusive. The plot is muddled and messy, but the old-school gameplay and the reintroduction of the weapon wheel save the day. The COD-Like multiplayer is, though derivative, rewarding and funny.
