Overwatch is the new dimension of competitive play. A step forward in the genre, an hypertrophic heir to Team Fortress: each of the 21 heroes represent a class, and the concept of asymmetrical balancing is just brilliant. On the other side, the game is not that fun if you play it alone, and the absence of ranked match is unacceptable.

It's action game J-style at its best, smooth to control, wonderful and crazy to watch. If you are even remotely interested in the genre, this is by far the best reason to own a WiiU as of today.

Rock Band 3 is the ultimate music experience. New instruments are solid, the keyboard is fun to play, and the tracklist is splendid and varied.

Assassin's Creed 2 is miles away form the first chapter. It's a whole new game, different in many aspects. The main quest is involving and nice to play, and the number of side mission and extra activities is impressive (and all of them are fun to play). The setting is peculiar and unique, and the panoramic views are sharp and, somehow, magic.

Forza Horizon 3 is a huge game, a worthy evolution of a solid. Fun , varied and technically impeccable, the latest work by Playground Games succeeds in the difficult task of renewing, without distorting it, a structure that had already found its maturity in Forza Horizon 2.

Beautiful addicting puzzle game. Beautiful addicting gameplay. If this is not enough, add 80 levels with 80 icy figures to be destroyed and an update coming soon. Add a great sound quality. Add a astonishing graphic. And it's yours for 0,79€. What are you doing here?

Killzone 2 is a rock solid First Person Shooter, developed with care and essential for the PS3 Line Up. It’s a peculiar title, realistic in the approach, dark and gloomy, conveying a strange perspective about war and obedience. The single player experience is linear and not that long, but the multiplayer is perfect, stressing a tactical aspect that is not so diffused in the other exponents of the genre.

The Single Player is far away from perfection. It lacks drama, and the pace isn't that high. But, as usual, Bungie delivers a complete multiplayer experience. Thanks to FireFight and to the new game modes, Reach is one of the best online FPS, and it will last for years.

Forza Motorsport 4 goes beyond any driving simulation on consoles. Turn 10 added some fresh mechanics to a career mode that, apart some extras, remains the same (in terms of event types), and developed a new grip system for the tires that reaches a new level of driving simulation.

Split Fiction is a true triumph, a priceless title that not only manages to replicate the qualitative heights reached by the Game of the Year 2021 but surpasses them by ascending to even more astonishing levels of inventiveness. It is a title capable of renewing itself minute after minute and maintaining an enviable freshness even after several hours of gameplay, all seasoned with a first-rate artistic direction and impeccable technical realization. Whether you are a fan of Hazelight Studios' production, whether you loved It Takes Two or whether you simply love video games in the purest sense of the word, this is an experience you will not want to miss.

Gears of War 3 is the perfect conclusion of an incredible saga. The core mechanics are just the same, but Epic Games delivers a splendid lesson in game design, creating a brilliant campaign, varied and well-paced as few others. Plus, you can find an enormous amount of cooperative and competitive options out of the box.

Dragon Age: Origins, even without being perfect and even without stunning graphics, is a great game. A lot of quests and sub-quests, deep, well-balanced gameplay and a great interaction scheme, build up a valuable production. BioWare gave fans all that they needed: the spiritual sequel of Baldur's Gate.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is a monumental work, perfectly balanced in length and pace of play, with an engaging combat system and a progression system among the best in its category. Equipped with an exciting story, full of twists and a profound final message, it will bewitch anyone who decides to embark on Expedition 33. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any fan of "Japanese-style" RPGs.

With the quality of writing and the inventiveness of design, Disco Elysium brilliantly faces the traditions of role-playing. In doing so, it paradoxically succeeds in overcoming them where more "innovative" titles have failed, demonstrating that innovation is not enough as the sole aim and motivation to make a great game, but that a great game can be, by virtue of its qualities, innovative.

In short, Donkey Kong Bananza arrives in dazzling form for its (highly anticipated) debut with gamers, once again demonstrating the extraordinary skill and fresh artistic vision of the creative team led by director Motokura, who previously rose to prominence with the splendid Super Mario Odyssey. It's an accessible product, yet also suitable for a more experienced audience, made essential by one of the best implementations of environmental destruction ever seen in a console game. Add to this a delightful and smile-inducing story, a solid and fun gameplay formula, and top-notch technical performance, and the resulting picture is that of a new shining gem in the Switch 2's game library.
