The real question is why Square Enix has felt the need to re-propose this game in 2018.

Resident Evil 0 is an important chapter for Capcom's most famous saga, and every fan should try it. This HD Remaster is just a good way to do so.

Fossilizing yourself on the past can sometimes be counterproductive, and the risk of inheriting its strengths and weaknesses is high. Contra Operation Galuga's level design hasn't always thrilled us, and we feel the same about the artistic direction behind the experience. The game, however, winks at those nostalgic for the saga, who will have no difficulty feeling at ease in tackling the missions throughout the Galuga archipelago, undoubtedly capable of entertaining long-time fans.

2009 version is very similar to Virtua Tennis 3. So, this new chapter inherits from its ancestors the flaws related to an arcade approach to the discipline.

Pride of Nations is another incredible work from Paradox. Covering an aspect never considered before in the software house products (the colonial expansion), it delivers solid strategy for old fans.

Puddle is an interesting title for fans of the genre, thanks to the originality of the level design, constantly looking for never predictable ways.

Evergate gave us a stimulating and extremely evocative experience whose underlying apparent simplicity was only the prelude to a progression full of stimuli and interesting ideas.

After two years to forget, Madden NFL seems to have embarked on the road to redemption, with a playable homage to the great John Madden. The new additions to the gameplay and the advances made by the AI, give the series a new dimension, as well as the Franchise mode that has finally been fixed. There are several areas to fix, however, and our feeling is that EA Tiburon has not yet managed to really exploit the power of the next-gen.

Mixing the structure of a MOBA with the gameplay of a Twin-Stick Shooter Armature Studios delivers an unusual and interesting arcade. There are some balancing problems but Dead Star is the best way to approach the Battle Arena scene, especially for console gamers.

Super Mario All-Stars - 25th Anniversary Edition is not what it should have been: an homage to the glorious story of the most famous videogame character. Instead, it's the umpteenth product made only to make the most out of his name, flawed in its presentation and by its disappointing quality.

Supercross 3 presents itself at the starting line with a vaguely conservative attitude and less exuberance than expected, although it continues to represent one of the most complete titles within the portfolio of the Milanese software house.

There's hope that, in good time, EA Sports can nail once and for all what UFC is all about. This is an encouraging first try, still lacking some precision and strategy in ground fights, but bestowed with jaw breaking graphics.

Bright Memory: Infinite offers gameplay that successfully mixes gunfire and hand-to-hand combat, without sacrificing anything on the technical side and the fluidity of the clashes. The main campaign is perhaps too short but the low cost of the game and the fact that it was made by one person, make it an experience not to be underestimated. The hope for the future is that Zeng Xiancheng will be able to form a well-fed and talented team, which can support him to make an even more ambitious, complete and satisfying video game. The bases from which to start are all there and this does nothing but load us with expectations for the future of the creative.

Net of a series of technical problems that we sincerely hope can be mitigated by the next patches, Immortals of Aveum is a convincing first-person magic shooter, which can be played with transport from start to finish. Although belonging to the shooter genre, the Ascendant Studio title is profoundly different from its colleagues and the predominant action component, combined with the presence of many tools to counter the opponents, makes every single battle exciting and spectacular. The complex lore at the base of the experience accompanies a valid plot, not without some less effective junctures, but sometimes capable of surprising the player, and certainly able to push him to complete Jak's journey.

More long-lived, rich and experimental than the other episodes, The Devil in Me concludes the first season in a somewhat discontinuous way. What on the one hand adds to the playful formula, on the other subtracts it in terms of narrative rhythm. Thanks to the usual multiplayer modes, and the possibility of collecting special coins along the hotel to unlock some extras in the main menu, the last piece of the tetralogy is the most dense but also the most bulimic: it always remains disturbing and refined on the side of the atmosphere, however, takes a step backwards in terms of cohesion between its parts. For now, the curtain falls on the Supermassive anthology, with a fairly positive overall balance, if only for the team's ability to have shown us, from time to time, the many shades of horror.

Firefighting is an unusual concept for videogames, and Flame Over tries to mix it with dual stick shooting. It's fun and engaging, but the lasting appeal is frankly quite disappointing.
