As its main character, Octodad tries to hide its real nature, but sooner or later you'll grasp it anyway. It's not for the impatient gamer, and some design choices ultimately spoil the fun.

The idea is sound, but as of today there's only one interesting gameplay mode (and it gets old after a while), a shop that needs rebalancing and a very slow character progression.

Razor's Edge is not the old Ninja Gaiden 3. With revamped gameplay mechanics, a new character and a set of new weapons, this iteration is how the original game had to be.

The interaction is so limited that The Bunker doesn't look like a game. It's more an interactive movie, with a great atmosphere and an interesting story.

Star Fox Zero is a surprising game that gets better level after level. The unusual control scheme might be hard to master, but you'll soon discover that is the fulcrum for an original and innovative experience, shaped by the creative talent of Shigeru Miyamoto.

This Next-Gen version of the last Tecmo-Koei's musou adds few scenarios and game modes, and shows a crisper graphics. But it doesn't change the substance of the game.

Magna Carta 2, event without excellence in any part of it, keeps the player's attention on for the 50 hours of gameplay. Narration is a little bit prosaic in the beginning but, after a couple of hours, it assumes a really interesting shape. It's really a pity that graphics are not so good.

Old-style gameplay for a new and fresh graphical adventure. The solid plot is linked with a serious reflection about human nature, and in this standardized videogame market, Cryostasis shines.

This second chapter of the Risen brand is an imperfect but charming RPG, with stunning environments and an engrossing story. An epic sea adventure we haven't seen in years!

The possibility of using both Jedi powers and lightsabers in combat finds its best expression in Dojo mode, where the degree of physical and sensory involvement touches very high peaks.

The idea itself didn't seem bad: a mix of rhythm game and platform similar to what we saw in Rayman Legends, with its unforgettable musical levels. The result is instead a mixture that takes the worst of both worlds, between rigid movements and songs on average without bite, and an inexplicable temporal rewinding mechanics that only contributes to interrupting the flow and increasing the annoyance due to the continuous trial & error to which you will be subjected.

Under an aesthetic layer that is a little too essential and dated, Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition contains a simulation experience with unexpected qualities, genuinely delightful. A product whose target is very precise, mostly within the circle of school-age players, which hits its targets thanks to its relaxed way of doing things, a good variety of tasks proposed and a captivating use of some of the most popular Disney licenses. always appreciated. For little Nintendo Switch owners, Disney Magical World 2 could really make a great Christmas present.

Unfortunately, the definitive edition of Outward did not manage to redeem the original work in its entirety, because it basically kept its same strengths and weaknesses. At the dawn of the new generation, unfortunately, the latter weigh a little more, net of the fact that the great innovations in terms of content variety have proved to be appreciable.

The new IllFonic title manages to express the best of itself in short sessions spent in the lightheartedness of a game aware of its limits, capable of challenging fans of the Ghostbusters brand with its continuous quotes but also to intrigue those who are not accustomed to the saga with an immediate and easy to master gameplay.

Red River places one step above Dragon Rising. The game adds some new features that give the title more accessibility, but it lacks in general refinement. AI is poor and so are the graphics and some of the tactical mechanics. Coop mode works well but is not the perfect replacement for PvP, which is totally absent in the game.

The production shows a now-tired formula, devoid of creative verve and a challenge rate worthy of the name, which manages to save in corners only thanks to the mechanics of interaction between the environment and the 4 protagonists, well characterized in terms of play.

Blue Dragon Plus is a game with good ideas but its poorly realized. A better interface and an improved game system could value many other good features present in the game. A good technical compartment and a fair story, made this game a good choice for younger players.

Dark Spire is a game enjoyable only by classic RPG super fans. It's a tough dungeon crawler, with a very classic and tactic gameplay (maybe too much), and good music. Unfortunately the setting is just one city, with one huge dungeon.

Sea of Thieves is a game that you will not forget. Wonderful to see, amazing to listen to, unique in a group and very particular by themselves, the pirate adventure of Rare is a thunderous experiment built by combining all the typical defects of the genre to turn them into one extraordinary virtue.

Thymesia proposes a soulslike formula with different ideas of value, but ultimately clearly shows the inexperience of a team at the beginning, which struggles to bear the weight of its ambitions. Although it has solid foundations, the formula developed by Overborder shows some lightness too much, in the frame of a product that fails to manifest a truly convincing stylistic identity. Although not particularly generous in terms of content, the work of the Taiwanese team still remains a fun title, able to offer fans a handful of hours of fighting fun.
