The new re-release for Ninja Gaiden’s second entry in the modern-era series brings a few new modes/levels, gameplay adjustments and some fancy new costumes for the game’s female characters. Smells and tastes good... but not enough for the seasoned fans.

Urban Trial Freestyle has nothing new to offer other than Trials Evolution, but is filled with an addictive gameplay and a good longevity. The PS Vita version has some technical issues, but it's worth the price.

Crystal Dynamics built a gorgeous game, with a lot of good ideas and an astonishing artistic direction. Unfortunately, the game script is poor, and the lack of strong characters and design innovations make the latter part of Tomb Raider a spectacular third person shooter, but one without personality.

The game is a strange rock-paper-scissor like beat-em-up, too simplistic and too naïve. Even with Avengers and Marvel Secret Invasion license it does not have any appeal, if you aren’t a strong fan of the series. It’s evident the effort made by the developers in order to improve the game, implementing a new control system dedicated to WiiU’s GamePad, unfortunately this was not enough to improve the game itself.

The Tyranny of King Washington changes the way you play Assassin’s Creed 3: the new powers are a lot of fun to use and the new story, in this parallel world, could be intriguing. We want to use the wolf, eagle and bear power in the main story too!

With Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Platinum Games and Kojima Production worked in perfect harmony creating a fine piece of art. Fast and excellent gameplay hugs Kojima's elegant, intense and detailed storytelling. Few technical issues and a bunch of bad design choices ruin the experience, but the final result is still greatly entertaining.

Persona 4: Golden is the perfect example of a well-done remake. Atlus expanded the already awesome original experience, enhancing the graphics and adding high quality extra contents. This is one of the most interesting PlayStation Vita games.

Crysis 3 is looking gorgeous on consoles too, but it’s the freedom and gameplay that we love. Nanosuit’s power is a lot of fun and hunting enemies in this New York is great. A solid multiplayer is the classic cherry on top of the cake.

A very good idea wasted on a poor layered structure is in a few words the essence of Omerta. An offer you can definitely turn down.

Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is a nice attempt in the free-to-play genre, and is also a good action-RPG. The problem is that if you don’t want to pay a dime, it’s all about mindless grinding over and over again, and the AI assisted co-op it’s not well implemented.

A physics-based puzzle game that really deserves your attention and room on your 3DS.

A decent game that could have been much better with just a few vital improvements. Gearbox has wasted much of the enormous potential of the franchise, and as a result the game is enjoyable almost exclusively in the multiplayer modes and not more than a single play-through of the Campaign.

While many developers focus on free-to-play, Zombie Studios comes out with a nice, simple and original team based third person shooter. Special Forces Team X is interesting, in particular considering its main feature, a modular management map system which can create up to 1000 different maps. Unfortunately the game also suffers from some major technical issues that partially ruin the gameplay.

The Republic takes Crusader Kings II into a new dimension, where money is the most important “value”. This expansion is a necessary step for the gameplay evolution and a good opportunity to play the game one more time.

Sing Party is a boring party game with few game design issues. Developers used Wii U GamePad in a good way in a couple of modes only, and the final result is a mediocre karaoke experience.

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 is a kick to Hokuto no Ken fans' dream. Despite an accurate Story Mode, mediocre graphics, poor sound and a clumsy gameplay, transform this Tecmo Koei game into a sad nightmare.

Dead Space 3 is a victim of the EA bizarre marketing strategy. The game is still a Survival Horror, with extra action in co-op multiplayer games. Visceral Games does a great job, adding new ideas (the weapon crafting system is perfect) to a still-young franchise.

Skulls of the Shogun is an unsuspected good turn-based tactical game, with an addictive cross-platform gameplay both in single and multiplayer, humorous characters and some cool ideas. With some more depth in customization and options, it could have been an instant classic.

Obviously, DmC for PC is graphically better than the console counterparts. Fighting with Dante at 60fps is an amazing experience, with all the latest graphical effects you could imagine. Unfortunately no hi-res textures are present, but still it's an eye-candy roller-coaster.
