The Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection is pretty dumb. Budokai 3 is still a great game, but the lack of any kind of online mode and the crazy absence of Budokai 2, transform a good chance into a sad nonsense.

Harry Potter Kinect is not a good game. Mini-games do not shine for their originality and the accuracy of Kinect is not quite as good as in other similar games. There is no depth and there is no fun, just like an overpriced bad spell.

Wonderbook is not just a good idea anymore: accompanied by the lovely Book of Spells, this strange peripheral comes to life to surprise all with its beautiful augmented reality. Maybe is not worth buying a PlayStation 3 only for this, but if you already have one a purchase is highly recommended, especially to anyone who wants to gift a very special "toy". We hope that future books for Wonderbook are just as good as this one.

F1 Race Stars doesn't capitalize on its boasted official F1 license and turns out to be a very generic arcade racer, too generic for its own good.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is simply awesome. The single player Campaign Mode is an incredible surprise and is worth a few play throughs. Treyarch did a great job balancing the multiplayer experience, playing simple and focused. The final result with the CODcasting is something great and the online streaming as a nice bonus. This is the best year to buy a CoD game.

Another fitness-training title for Xbox 360 that won't give you the right reasons to use (again) your Kinect device.

Silent Hill meets Diablo-esque dungeon crawler style with swinging results. Lack of variety, long loading times and mediocre graphics are balanced by some good ideas and addicting gameplay.

    Pid
Pid boasts an excellent design and interesting mechanics, but suffers from an excessive and unforgiving difficulty level that puts players in very repetitive situations most often than not. Nevertheless, it's pleasant to watch and offers quite a difficult, although dull, challenge.

Media Molecule team up with United Front Games to transform the mediocre ModNation Racers into LittleBigPlanet Karting. The result is good but apart from the usual, awesome editor, there's nothing special in the gameplay. Still a solid kart game, destined to live (or survive?) thanks to the community and the powerful tools generously available.

Retro City Rampage is the perfect compilation of pop culture references. The GTA-like style is pretty impressive due to the awesome artistic work of the developer. The lack of a proper balance for the difficulty level and the boring gameplay of few missions could be a problem to somebody.

Painkiller Hell & Damnation stands halfway between a remake of the original game and a brand new FPS. Same levels, no changes and a new story, it tries to purpose for a second time the first, cult game. Unfortunately, even with the Unreal Engine it feels like it's hundred years old.

The console versions of Warfighter definitely aren't the most polished and entertaining modern shooters on the market. Considering the expectations that there were on this series, we can call Medal of Honor a victim of EA's friendly fire.

Artorias of the Abyss is finally available as a DLC for the console versions of Dark Souls. If you've loved the main game, you'll enjoy this new adventure and, above all, you'll be hella happy to try the new PVP arenas. What are you waiting for? Buy this DLC and Prepare to Die!

The latest Criterion's effort is a compelling racing game in the likes of Burnout Paradise and Hot Pursuit, that deserves all the attention of street racing games fans. Worshipers of the original Most Wanted beware, though: this is not exactly the Most Wanted 2 you were waiting for.

Professor Layton comes to the 3DS with an entirely new 3D presentation, one of the best stereoscopic effects to date and a new adventure that, if not as "fresh" as the original, is still as compelling and unique as its visual style.

There are new and better game modes and, overall, more things to do and see, but WWE '13 stays essentially the same and doesn't dare to stray too much from the formula of the previous chapters. The actual fighting mechanics are still too dull and could have been improved with a little effort.

Liberation is 100% Assassin's Creed. After the "faux pas" of Bloodlines (PSP) and iOS titles, Ubisoft scores a prefect strike with this PS Vita spin-off, with deep gameplay and stunning graphics. After Uncharted Golden Abyss, Liberation could be one of the most interesting titles in Sony's handheld history so far.

Assassin's Creed III is a huge game. The new gameplay mechanics created by Ubisoft are mostly a success, granting tons of fun with the most complete chapter of this popular franchise. A few technical problems and scattered issues are simply not enough to ruin this great experience.

After the success achieved by The Orange Box, every series tried to do the same with its own collection. Unfortunately, not all games are as good as Half-Life. We can say the same about Command & Conquer. The series is awesome but this ultimate collection doesn't offer any real reason to buy it. No extras, no more content, not even a decent emulation on the modern OS. Only for real fans of the series.

Gore, violence and blood have never been so beautiful like in this "new" 8-bit game. Hotline Miami is pure gameplay, addictive and thrilling like no other. With an incredibly intriguing storytelling and a stunning techno-electronic OST powered by Jasper Byrne, Dennaton's game shouldn't be missed for any reason.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier - Khyber Strike is a good deal for people who still play and enjoy the competitive multiplayer of this third person shooter. The new game mode reminds the classic Team Deathmatch, adding main objectives to the traditional experience. If you are hardcore fans of Future Soldier, you should keep fighting.

The Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken suffers from the very same problems of other versions out there. The new game mode, Explosive Kumite, is a little bit plain and boring, but the new online K.O. Collection is pretty interesting. Anyway, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear or Mortal Kombat are tough cookies for this game.
