Dec 11, 2012Pid is not only fun and challenging, but nice to look at as well. It's one of those games that needs to be experienced first hand as screenshots and video will not do it justice. If you are still on the fence, I recommend trying out the demo as always to see if it's a good fit for you.

Nov 14, 2012With Kurt's character design, the smoothness in his movements, and the challenges he faces, I couldn't help but compare Pid to the award-winning Limbo. That said, Pid's exceedingly inviting visual style is a marked contrast to the overbearing sense of dread and isolation in Playdead's 2010 platformer.

Dec 17, 2012This game not only challenges you to think outside the box but to have the endurance to continue thinking that way until the level is over and the boss is beaten.
-
Nov 6, 2012Kurt's trials partly arise from the traditional platforming challenge, of course, but trimming the more repetitive sequences and draining the bosses' health would have edged this effort toward the greatness enjoyed by some of its contemporary cousins.
-
Dec 4, 2012A smart and, at some times, very challenging puzzle platformer with neat-looking visuals and good music. Still, it's not very memorable in the long run.
-
Feb 3, 2013More work on the game's controls and play balance, and maybe perhaps even shortening the length a bit, would have gone a long way towards making Pid a more enjoyable experience.

Nov 8, 2012That butler is what I most clearly remember about Pid. In time (maybe just in a matter of weeks) it's probably all I'll remember about Pid. I'll see him flying around, crushing my spirit time and again, and cleaning up those broken pieces of glass. Too bad he can't pick up the pieces of this once promising game.
