Technically has its weaknesses but the gameplay is pure gold. State of Decay is one of the most memorable, engrossing zombie games to date.

Velocity Ultra is must have for every Vita owner. This HD version of FuturLab's retro shooter has improved controls and graphics, but, most important thing, is ridiculously fun.

Despite a few issues, The Last of Us represents at the same time the complete maturity of the PlayStation 3 hardware and, above all, the perfect fusion between gameplay and narrative. Naughty Dog has created a masterpiece that will be a milestone in the video games evolution.

Smart, fun and challenging enough without being punishing: Gunpoint is a brilliant indie game that every nostalgic of the Amiga and PC “golden age” of gaming shouldn't miss.

Charming, smart and deep, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a must buy for Nintendo 3DS, and the best Animal Crossing to date.

Remember Me is an interesting game with a very good story and smart gameplay features. The superior lore Dontnod Entertainment has created with passion is deep and intense and offers the perfect frame for the story. A number of small technical issues can't ruin this great experience.

We suspect that the F2P nature of Dust 514 will not be enough to make PlayStation network casual gamers and Eve Online die hard fans the best buddies of this game.

Diggs Nightcrawler is a really good new interactive story for the Sony's Wonderbook. It's built upon a really good Augmented Reality engine and is full of fun ideas, characters and backgrounds. Maybe it is too short, but you will love to read it more than once.

Mars: War Logs is an overly ambitious project that Spiders Studios couldn’t bring on par with its original vision. Despite not fully delivering in this particular venture, the team shows promise and deserves praise for aiming high and not settling for the usual stereotypes.

Gameloft’s Iron Man 3 is not too bad, but it’s not the kind of game you will remember for ages. Considering such a powerful Hollywood franchise, creating an endless runner instead of a sandbox could be seen like a big waste. Especially when you find out that there are many endless runners better than this.

Fuse is a mid tier in the TPS chart. Insomniac has created a plain game with no outstanding qualities. The overall experience is still good enough and the multiplayer mode is the core element of this game.

Codemasters has done a good job upgrading its already awesome Grid racing game. Grid 2 is a good example of how to improve a great project. The Live Routes races are really fun and can dramatically change the way a player approach every single track.

The new work by Level 5 created a lot of expectations in us when first listening to the developers commentaries. Unfortunately, while it is clear that the developer tried hard to fulfill this high expectations, they didn’t succeeded. The game itself, even if good enough, loses the novelty and the authenticity of the other Level 5 works. It is just a tiny, simple, good adventure. Nothing more, nothing less.

Persona 4 Arena is an awesome fighting game. The bizarre partnership between Arc System Works and Atlus has created an elegant, impressive, fun and worth buying game for both beginner and advanced players.

Star Trek doesn’t play it smart: the game gets stranded in a galaxy full of cliches typically associated with TPSes, ignoring at the same time the stronger aspects of Roddenberry’s creation.

The last creature of Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro keeps its promises only partially, offering unacceptable graphics, a survival horror game that doesn't scare at all and not so brilliant mechanics. Nonetheless, there's something invisible, an empathic link making the whole thing an oiled mechanism. Survive to the first 20 minutes, and you'll never forget your stay in Greendale.

Game Dev Tycoon is a fun simulation, perfectly targeted to the (retro-)gaming enthusiast. Some of its mechanics, though, are somewhat simplistic and not 100% coherent, making the overall experience less brilliant than it could have been.

The Lost Reels seems to tell us just one thing: there’s nothing more appropriate for this kind of games than a good friend and a couple of light guns. With oversimplified control system and poor contents, it’s far from being the “real” mobile incarnation of the cult game we played on Wii and PlayStation 3.

With nice graphics, a light-hearted soundtrack, tons of bonus contents and, last but not least, a reasonable and not invasive iAP system, LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes is not just a wonderful porting, but one of the most interesting entries in Cupertino’s Store.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is a strange series and this chapter is no exception. That you love it or hate it, this is a game made of contradiction. It associates very good graphics with 8-year old gameplay, with no innovation nor changes, not even with the potential of the little Nintendo game console. It appears to be a decent game by the way, something that one who love the series could find very entertaining for a few hours, for everyone else, better wait for Pokemon X/Y.

Monaco is a good game but with too many repetitive mechanics and without a real differentiation between the characters. The coop mode starts with a bang but eventually becomes a little bit boring.
