Magic 2014 Duels of Planeswalkers is a solid and intriguing version of the renowned card game. Wizards of the Coast still limits the experience to bring people to their shops: will they resist next year with Scrolls, World of Warcraft: Heartstone, HEX e Might & Magic: Duel of Champions coming?

Funny addictions to the original formula make this M&L adventure one of the best entries in the series. Happy new year… Luigi!

How to destroy a great trilogy with a poor-quality conversion. We hope for a better result next time.

The PC porting of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition has great graphics and offers the same good feelings of the 2 years old console versions, but a couple of technical issues and a bad net code ruin the final experience.

After two years, one of the most captivating and surprising PC “indie” platform arrives on consoles… and it’s still a winner!

Brave New World adds lots of options to Civilization V. The brand new trading routes and Tourism add even more deepness to Firaxis' game. If you love Civ V, you have to try it.

Warhammer Quest for iPad is really fun, and only partially ruined by the expensive DLCs and the repetitive dungeon design.

Pro Cycling Manager 2013 rests on the lack of competition and does barely what it takes to appeal to the fans of the genre. Passable, but a bigger effort would be appreciated.

400 Days is a good expansion, but its pacing should to be slower in order to let us love his characters and feel bad for everything that happens to them.

Project X Zone is a crazy japanese cocktail where characters from a huge number of popular games interact in funny ways. Its gameplay is interesting at the beginning but loses appeal after a few hours, the final experience anyway is good enough. If you love japanese games, just buy it and be happy.

The Swapper is a fascinating and well-crafted adventure that strongly subordinates gameplay to narrative. Though this could appeal to the most introspective players, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

A brilliant, humorous, crazy and irresistible character buried in a repetitive and uninspired game. Deadpool deserved a better treatment… Chimichanga!

We can say that, despite some hiccups, the masterminds behind Wargame: Airland Battle have done a good job in improving an already solid game.

To poor attention to detail, Bugs vs Tanks! adds bad controls and even worst graphics. The gameplay itself is boring and simplistic, and can't offer a good challenge to the player.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is a nice action-RPG with some new mechanics and a nice, steampunkish setting. Nevertheless, the lack of an interesting story and an almost linear gameplay prevent the game from reaching the same level of Diablo III or Torchlight II.

If you haven’t played Hotline Miami on PC yet, this is your perfect chance. One of the best indie games ever made is now available on Vita and PS3 for just €8 with cross-buy and cross-save. Great controls, a weird story and an epic soundtrack make this little gem a must-buy.

Marvel Heroes could be described as a total conversion of Diablo in Marvel’s style. The visuals are good, the story isn’t original and the gameplay is always the same. The main problem is that after a few hours you’ll be done with the main quest and you'll be are forced to do the same quests over and over again to reach the level cap. Unless you pay some money to make it faster.

MotoGP 13 is a good simulation ruined by poor graphics and few issues with the overall rhythm of its Career mode. Milestone has done a good job in recreating the vehicles' physics but the developers should try to improve their techniques.

Neverwinter is a free-to-play MMORPG, with a very nice combat system and a wonderful user-generated content organizer, The Foundry, that let players shape their own quests. PVP is a bit poor and you have to pay if you want to respec, to have more bags or more space in the bank, but in the end this is one of the best free-to-play MMO in town.

The game is a decent JRPG, good enough to be played if you are a big fan of the genre. Unfortunately it’s also ruined by a lot of technical problems such as a poor graphics and terrible animations. And the combat system is overly simplistic and boring. A pity because, since the game shows some very good ideas.

Starting from the interesting idea of creating a Portal clone set in the future, with some elements taken from H.P. Lovercraft, Magrunner ends up as a funny game but nothing more. A good chance to create something different, only partially accomplished.

A music reactive platform that fails in all his objectives. The levels doesn’t really react to music, the controls are laggy and the visuals fail to impress. If you really want to try it, at least wait that the price goes down.
