MXGP 2020 comes to the annual appointment with slight improvements and an all too well known formula. Milestone should risk more and propose something new.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is the definitive edition of the great 2010 tie-in. It is an excellent 2D beat 'em up that pays homage to the great classics of the genre and that can give players dozens of hours of fun both alone and with friends.

This game could've been something special but the clumsy platforming sections and other minor issues keeps it from being remarkable.

42 years and counting... and Space Invaders is still an entertaining piece of software. Forever melts single-player, multiplayer and mobile-style gameplay in one, unique multiform compilation by Taito.

Morkredd has a fascinating setting, an audio that helps to create dark atmospheres and an interesting use of lights and shadows, which almost represent a metaphor for life. Too bad that gameplay wise, Morkredd fails to shine due to a short duration and a low difficulty. The feeling is that it could have been done more, taking advantage of the promising premises.

Shady Part of Me is an emotional journey that explores the fragile balance between light and shadow.

Per Aspera is a very interesting colony builder narrative game that has a stellar esthetic, a very engaging story and a super cast of actors. The gameplay is fluid, rewarding and rich of surprises and references to cool tech (both fictional and kinda realistic). If you like the genre and the setting you will have a blast.

A pleasant return to an hardcore and challenging videogame from Team Meat, the authors of Super Meat Boy.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is an indie adventure full of ambitions… too many ambitions! Despite the Bloodborne-style inspirations, the game is full of personality, a clear reflection of an extremely passionate vision, with very strong artworks and sound design, but everything else is simply pretty weak. The low difficulty, boss fights aside, along with a very basic gameplay devoid of any challenge, hinders what could have been something truly interesting.

Orwell's Animal Farm could have been something really special, but plays like a flat interactive fiction that will (maybe) please those who have loved the original novella.

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is a wonderful story about respect for nature and animals, and it’s extremely important for all of us.

Doom Eternal on Switch is yet another 'impossible port' that is successfully performed by Panic Button. Technically, compromises had to be made, but the heart of the game is still intact and beating.

Airborne Kingdom is a well-balanced city builder highly focused in exploration. In this Arabian Night-like world, graphic and music create a mesmerizing strategic experience. Sadly, with time, the sense of wonder decreases, and the game feels a little too predictable.

Very similar to the first title, with a bunch of new trainers, routines and a refreshed soundtrack. Ring Fit Adventurs is still king of fitness on the Nintendo Switch.

Drawn to Life is a relaxing and creative game that makes the experience absolutely unique, despite its simple gameplay.

Call of the Sea continues the tradition that sees the indie industry as a tireless forge of often unmissable gems and does so by moving beyond pure genres and also playing on contrasts. That contrast that perhaps pushes Norah to find comfort in an unknown so unfathomable and surreal as to be frighteningly fascinating.

From its very beginning Cyberpunk 2077 had to deal with expectations. Not all of them have been met, still CD Projekt RED has created a stunning video game.

Even if it fails to depict the different aspects of and mature love story, Haven has undoubted qualities and its artistic side will make a wide range of players fall in love.

Katamari Damacy is still a must-buy in 2020. Despite some minor flaws the King of all Cosmos and his Prince deserve all of your love.

Twin Mirror is a psychological thriller with a pleasant gameplay and excellent characters but which, unfortunately, suffers from a too hasty and superficial script.
