Immortals Fenyx Rising conquered us since its debut. Now that we have played it thoroughly, we can say that Ubisoft has given us a small masterpiece better than Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Empire of Sin offers strategical depth, managerial challenge and, only occasionally, tactical fun. Lack of boldness in the tactical department, some technical glitches and an amateurish interface, keep this title from becoming a true classic.

Another challenger in the crowded action-roguelite genre, ScourgeBringer delivers a challenging quest blended in lightning-fast gameplay.

Godfall is visually pleasing, with a responsive gameplay and a nice level of challenge. Unfortunately, the narrative is mediocre and the game system appears almost entirely devoid of temper, which makes the game a little more than an adequate forerunner for the new gaming generation.

An original mix between rhythm game and platform with a great soundtrack, flawed by some muddled gameplay mechanics.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a Breath of the Wild prequel presented as a mosou game. A spectacular narration, an entertaining and compelling gameplay with tons of monster on screen that push hard Switch’s hardware limits, though some frame-rate slowdowns, will keep you busy until the arrival of Breath of the Wild’s sequel.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is a successful return to the origins for the series. Treyarch builds on the roots of the famous military FPS to make it accessible and super fun once again. Too bad that Activision hasn't adopted the same cross-gen distribution policy as other publishers: be careful if you are going to buy a next-gen console.

It's ironic that the real killer-application of this new generation of consoles is a remake. On the other hand, Demon's Souls is a masterpiece in pure FromSoftware fashion, and Bluepoint Games are absolute masters at their craft. The result of this equation couldn't have been anything less than a must play.

The Falconeer is a charming old-style shooter developed by a passionate one-man studio, partially spoiled by a fragmented plot and a repetitive quest design.

The Big Adventure starts slowly, very slowly. Then, from nowhere, it starts going completely crazy, bringing together art, music and challenge, building a perfect experience for its target audience.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is a simply unmissable opportunity for those who have not yet had the opportunity to play the game: with its exceptional visuals and a steady framerate, it's an excellent trailblazer for the upcoming 9th generation of gaming.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is far from being a perfect game, still it’s one of the most evolved and complete chapters of the series, and one of the most interesting titles to play this month.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 is nothing but the next-gen reincarnation of the fourth best selling game in the PS4 era. It doesn't aim to step up the open-world genre: it simply desires to stand out as an entertaining experience within the usual constraints, being just a great videogame part of the best Spider-Man tie-in.

A gate that is willing to keep 26 years of videogame history. A proper museum dedicated to the PlayStation universe. An excellent platform rich of “wow” moments and built with love. Sleeping on Astro's Playroom should be considered a crime by the videogamers court.

Designer's Cut is a disappointing DLC that shows that even interesting ideas, if badly managed, don't automatically bring to success. Those who have already spent many hours in the cooperative mode will certainly be happy to spend more time in Arms Race or farm old bosses with new skills, but this does not delete out the questionable choices made in the first place.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a great new beginning for the saga. The newbies and the curious can easily start from this chapter, and then recover the previous ones. To veterans and nostalgics, frightened by the new features introduced in Like a Dragon, we can only make a plea: give it a chance and you won't regret it.
