After the decent Tormented Fathers, Remothered: Broken Porcelain is a searing disappointment on virtually every front. Even ignoring the presence of numerous bugs, no aspect of the previous title has been improved and indeed, it almost seems that all those unconvincing elements of the first game have been viciously exasperated.

This new chapter of the Dark Pictures Anthology delivers another solid, but still not fully convincing, horror experience from Supermassive Games.

Transient is an original take on Lovecraft’s mythology, enriched by cyberpunk influences and breathtaking scenarios. Sadly, in this puzzle-adventure game, npcs are too static and some puzzles are clunky.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a pure gem of the Nintendo Difference heritage. It has everything that's needed to feel new to veterans while still catering to a broader audience, but the real magic resides in the roots of the brand. It's a game everyone should try, but it's not as impressive as the original release.

Watch Dogs Legion is a rather fun game built on the basis of a very interesting storyline. Too bad that gameplay is excessively anchored to the two previous chapters, and the tech side is quite disappointing.

Pumpkin Jack is a practically homemade game, with a lot of heart: it aims to celebrate iconic games such as Medievil and Jak and Daxter, without inventing anything new from a purely playful point of view, but offering several hours of genuine entertainment thanks to simple and well positioned ideas, accompanied by an extremely cunning story.

Super Mario Battle Royale, as simple as that. It's free and highly addictive but pay attention... you'll need nerves of steel to prevail.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is potentially a splendidly entertaining tactical game with lot of depth and atmosphere but, at the moment, it is marred by a plethora of technical issues that make it a chore to play.

I Am Dead is a little wonderful tale which goes beyond the concept of death embracing love and the wonderful mementos of the persons who left us. The core mechanics are smart and well executed and despite the lack of a well needed variety this is another unique game from Annapurna Interactive.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a good strategy game with very limited ambitions. It could suit strategy newbies or players not willing to invest much in a strategy experience. For sophisticated strategy players the market has many more interesting propositions.

Amnesia: Rebirth is definitely both better and worse than SOMA. In an attempt to blend the best of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and SOMA something went inevitably missing, nevertheless Frictional Games is back with one of the greatest survival horror games in so many aspects.

Age of Empires III Definitive Edition follows the original formula offering a ton of content and adding a very nice and effective coat of paint, both visually and in the audio department. The old style gameplay could turn off modern RTS players though.

NBA 2K21 is the same game of last year with some minor updates and a brand new story for MyCareer mode. Though the simulation is very good and it feels like a very realistic basketball game, all of the game modes orbit around microtransactions and loot boxes, especially MyTeam mode, where you will soon face super strong teams built spending real money. No matter how much or how well you play, competing at high level often feels too much difficult.
