Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection on the PlayStation 4 is a little bit more crispy and fluid than the Switch version, but the two editions are on-par on the entertainment side.

A ruthless and brutal survival game, unfortunately not that entertaining to play. A modest porting for console with some serious inaccuracies (bugs and crashes), did not convince us.

King of Seas is an average production, at times interesting, but that on the whole fails to involve players. Game dynamics soon become repetitive, the narrative struggles to take off and the artistic side could have been better. A real pity, since pirate games are never enough and the project was quite intriguing.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is a wonderful remake, a jump in time, a masterpiece in level design. The Nintendo Switch port does not have the same framerate and graphic of its Sony and Microsoft counterparts, but thanks to its portableness fits perfectly with the arcade mood and the skate park editor mode.

Red Solstice 2: Survivors is an isometric and tactical TPS. It has a solid multiplayer and offers extensive customization options. Unfortunately, in single player, it tends to repeat itself.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is a brand new game in the tactical turn based jRPG series by Nippon Ichi and Nis America. This game introduces several new mechanics aiming to update the classic system and to attract new players, and it finally switches 2D sprites with 3D models. If you are a turn-based jRPG addicted, Disgaea 6 will keep you busy for more than a while.

DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power would have been a great game with the right improvements. Despite this it’s a good game recommended for children.

Mario Golf: Super Rush shoot another star in the never-ending career of Nintendo's mascotte. The game is perfectible and maybe its flow needs some tee lessons from Hot Shot rival, but surely is another entertaining piece of software.

Scarlet Nexus is one of the most memorable anime video games by Bandai Namco Studios. The story is compelling, the lore is great, and the pure action combat formula works just right. It still retains some flaws from the past, like a forgettable level design and enemies that may feel repetitive, but it remains an excellent battle shonen, a good action RPG and, overall, a great video game.

Legend of Mana is back from the first PlayStation era with hi-res backgrounds and some minor changes to gameplay. It's not as good as it was back in the days but still it's an enjoyable JRPG experience.

R-Type Final 2 is a blast from the past, a good revival of the genre with a modern twist on it. Frenetic and incredibly hard is a good pastime, but can become frustrating in the long term for the pixel perfect accuracy needed.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is a revamped and remastered version of a brilliant game released over a decade ago. Despite the simple 3-button setup, the battle system is surprisingly deep. This game is easy to access but hard to master. Every fighter has his unique fighting style and everyone can find is perfect fitting. SEGA obviously wants to push the online experience since offline modes are very limited. Expect regular free updates for netcode and new contents in the next months.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale is an indie with Zelda-like exploration and a lot of customization options. Its main gimmick, a brush to color the world, is fully explored. Furthermore, the game doesn’t stop at the concept but develops every implication of its new and experimental gameplay.

Rift Apart in is the update that the Ratchet and Clank franchise needed. Insomniac has created an incredibly entertaining product, which never ceases to amuse. Unfortunately, a certain instability of the code (even after day one patch) prevents the game from reaching a higher score, but we feel confident that future updates will fix the code.
