Not only Stealth Inc. 2 is better than the previous, great, episode, but introduces a new local co-op mode and new gadgets that expand the gameplay in multiple ways. A must-buy for every Wii U owner.

Enemy Within adds more variety to a game that still shines months after. Some problems are where we remember them, but Enemy Within is a good excuse to replay the game or buy it if you didn't.

A pure old style platform ready to trigger your nostalgia and your laughs thanks to the unaltered 2D graphics straight from the late eighties and tons of quotes of old and modern cults. Nothing of totally new but more than a tribute. Rock solid mechanics, variety and a brilliant difficulty balance in level design make Unit4 a good platform for everyone and a hell of a challenge.

Superhot Mind Control Delete is a sublime action game like its predecessor. A continuous flow of fun that will make you dance through its levels for a long, long time.

Despite some quirks, every FPS fan can stand in line along with Kim Jong-un to gather this competently crafted first person shooter.

Mortal Kombat is a great fighting game, simply quite far away from the strict mechanics of Street Fighters or The King of Fighters. The main gameplay brings with it a huge nostalgia effect, and works in a great way for who loves this franchise. The strong single player experience and the good multiplayer are enough to ignore a bunch of tiny problems.

Impostor Factory clearly shows the growth of its author. The topics dealt with may not fit everyone's tastes, just as we definitely feel the void left by the sparkling interactions between the two protagonists of the previous chapters; however, Kan Gao seems to have clear ideas about the direction his saga is taking, as well as an increasingly refined talent for causing emotional devastation to the players.

Created by Double Fine through a crowdfunding campaign, Massive Chalice is an interesting turn-based strategy game that mixes the classic mechanics of the genre with some unique feature like permadeath, bloodlines relics and bloodlines genetics.

Dungeons III is a game with a double soul: the first is the dungeon management like Dungeon Keeper, the other one is a real time strategy combat oriented. The mix works great and the humor that permeates the whole production makes every moment played fun.

After the disaster of 2020, Visual Concepts and 2K Sports are back with WWE 2K22, a significantly improved game in every respect. The new control system, an incredible amount of content and the showcase mode dedicated to Rey Mysterio make this year's edition a must buy for WWE wrestling fans.

Outlast is able to create true terror in the player, but it falls a bit short in gearing up that feeling when scary things really happen.

Warhammer 40K Mechanicus is an interesting and original tactical game wrapped in a splendidly crafted Warhammer lore. Customization and Tech Priest’s coolness are other highlights of this title.

Street Fighter X Tekken is a complex game with too many elements in its fighting system. The Gem System looks scary enough - it could ruin the entire experience in a blink of an eye. The funny gameplay and the good graphics, anyway, are just enough to turn this game into the perfect entry level for beginners and a deep fighting game for the arcade stick masters.

Fascinating, lighthearted and stupidly funny, Journey to the SavagePlanet is a delightful adventure between the mysteries of an unknown alien planet. A first-person metroidvania with a lot of great exploration and platforming which demonstrates the talent of Typhoon Studios' developers.

The sometimes itchy control system and the cheap background graphics are not a match for a well conceived gameplay made to last for 50 levels of action packed platform gimmicks. Dustforce is a hard nut that only mystics of platform gaming will be able to crack, but also one of the few games in the last years to provide a real challenge in the platform genre. A must buy.

This game surprises for its simplicity and, at the same time, for the complexity of some of its game mechanics. Nobody Saves The World is always fun, with nice characters and never boring fights (even if monsters are quite repetitive).

Painkiller Hell & Damnation stands halfway between a remake of the original game and a brand new FPS. Same levels, no changes and a new story, it tries to purpose for a second time the first, cult game. Unfortunately, even with the Unreal Engine it feels like it's hundred years old.

MLB The Show 22 refines its legacy and its well tested game modes, while adding some cool new features like online co-op play. You can play addicting Dynasty Mode with one or two friends and, for the first time in the series, there is cross-play and cross-platform support. While not adding anything revolutionary, cross-platform is the major sell point of this year edition, helping to build one cohesive community.

Retro City Rampage is the perfect compilation of pop culture references. The GTA-like style is pretty impressive due to the awesome artistic work of the developer. The lack of a proper balance for the difficulty level and the boring gameplay of few missions could be a problem to somebody.
