Nioh 2: The Complete Edition is a good souls-like, with balanced level design and a deep battle system. The plot is told in short cutscenes and it is rich and evocative enough to engage the player. Sadly, although the port is ok (with some stuttering), the reuse of old assets is excessive considered we are talking of a next-gen edition.

The best PES in many years. It provides a smooth gameplay and a wonderful pace, but licenses, online and modes aren't enough to conquer the crown.

GamePad integration is not so brilliant as it could have been, graphics shows some problems and B.A.T. Mode is interesting, but oversimplifies the Free Flow Combat System. Nevertheless, Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition is a great game, with a deep gameplay and compelling narration: if you've never played a Rocksteady game before, this could be a good start.

Frightening, disturbing and psychedelic, Layers of Fear is an excellent horror experience inspired by P.T. The Bloober Team’s game might be a little too short and not so much interactive but it’s a great journey inside a psychotic mind.

Everspace is a massive space shooter with roguelike mechanics and permadeath. It perfectly balances fighting, exploration and crafting, giving an extremely fun and satisfying experience. Every run is different from the previous one and you can discover something new every time, weird ways to die included.

In Mortal Kombat the characters' models are less impressive than those in the original game, but the overall impact is still really good. If you're looking for a good fighting game with tons of extra and a bunch of interesting modes, Mortal Kombat is your best choice.

    Rad
A good and classic roguelike, enriched by 3D graphic, humour, 80’s style and a refined gameplay. The wonderful synth ost, the good narrative and the melee core mechanics distinguish RAD from other similar games. It needs to increase its content, although everything right now is very balanced.

Far Cry 4 is quite similar to the third installment of the series, both from a narrative perspective and gameplay wise. That said it is hard not to enjoy the many activities that the game offers, making us wanting to dive deep in the wonderful and breathing Kirat.

Testo: Mithology and videogame, a strange but intriguing combination for an opera which manages to tell a series of forgotten myths in an engaging and inspired way. The gameplay might seem too simplistic but overall The Mooseman is an extremely fascinating experience.

The iOS version of Microsoft puppies island is a very funny pastime, probably more suitable for kids or very young players rather than hardcore ones. Nevertheless, from a technical viewpoint Frontier IP offers very good graphics, an immediate gameplay and, last but not least, an excellent control-system.

Vanquish is an awesome game that, despite its lack of variety and short length, is capable of granting an over the top action, with a fantastic design and well balanced difficulty. If you're looking for a tough action game, insert Vanquish in your "to buy" list.

Devil Daggers is a brilliant old school shooter inspired by Doom and Quake, that offers an adrenalinic experience condensed in few minutes. Gameplay is very simple and addictive, and you will get busy for a long time with this game, hoping to survive till the end and to climb the online ladder. Even though a single run lasts few seconds.

Movies and videogames merge in an extremely interesting title which uses the lack of dialogue as a storytelling key point. Virginia is a story that pays a tribute to (and is inspired by) masterpieces like True Detective, The X-Files and Twin Peaks and manages to hold up in front of these great stories.
