    The Last Remnant Remastered is the best available version of the JRPG by Square Enix. The graphics is improved, however remain the flaws of a game released 10 years ago, without enhancements in gameplay. It adds elements to the classic turn-based combat, sometimes chaotic but able to stand out.

    Broken Sword 5 could be a nice dip in the past, but the puzzles are too easy to solve and the story waits long before due time to get interesting.     Dub Dash is a rhythm game extremely tricky and challenging. If you like electronic dance music and very challenging games this is for you. Otherwise beware that this game could be as frustrating as enjoyable. The insane high difficulty curve, the random generated challenges and the multiplayer modes offer longevity and repeatability. If you don’t like these elements you may want to skip this game.

    The real problem is that Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past is a 2006 game. Both graphics and user interface are aged and only few people could remember the plot of Shadow Wars. Despite this, the core gameplay is solid and the mash-up between RTS and RPG is a lot of fun. Maybe SpellForce 3 will be a game that anyone will have to play, unfortunately Demons of the Past is for hardcore fans only.

    The new work by Level 5 created a lot of expectations in us when first listening to the developers commentaries. Unfortunately, while it is clear that the developer tried hard to fulfill this high expectations, they didn’t succeeded. The game itself, even if good enough, loses the novelty and the authenticity of the other Level 5 works. It is just a tiny, simple, good adventure. Nothing more, nothing less.

The lack of a clean layout and the boring progression through the unlockable elements are the main issues of this project. The low price tag and the lack of good European music games on PS Vita are enough to turn KickBeat into a valuable option for gamers who are interested in replacing Lumines.

    With this porting from the PS3 and the Xbox 360, something has gone terribly wrong. Not only the Wii U hardware hasn’t been used in the right way, but in six months nothing interesting has been added to the game by the developers. I you only own a Wii U, and you’ve never played LEGO City Undercover, only than you could give this a try.

    Square Enix ports on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch a classic JRPG, released in 2000 on the first PlayStation. It does not add much to the original game: only better polygonal models of the characters and a better resolution in the cutscenes.

    Ducati: the 90th Anniversary Official Videogame is a spin-off of Ride. Proposing a series of races where you can drive only Ducati, Milestone has produced a game with the same strengths and weaknesses of the original. Recommended only to fans. Everyone else will enjoy the recent Valentino Rossi The Game more.

    Blacklight: Tango Down is a game with great ambitions and too many design issues. If you are a sniper rifle lover, you'll be really disappointed by this game, due to the bad weapon balance. The entire gameplay is built around a pure run&gun action, so if you're looking for a cheap but good downloadable multiplayer FPS, go for Battlefield 1943.

    Secret of Mana was an outstanding jRPG back in 1993 and this remake is a true love letter to fans. Unfortunately, besides upgraded graphics, a couple of cut-scenes and a brand new local co-op multiplayer, this new release does not add anything really worth to the core experience, and all the weakness of the original title are still there and sometimes they feel even worse.

    Fans waited for Grant Turismo more than they had to do, and the final result is not worth as much as the other chapters of the franchise. Everything is scaled down considering the nature of the project and the fact that we're talking about the handeld version of the game but a few choices of the team have been disappointing. It is an average game but not able to sustain the hype, what we were expecting and what has been promised.
