Wasteland Angel won't blow anyone away and you'll likely just feel like you're just going through the motions on an autopilot and never really engaged in all the action and chaos that ensues. Its few flashes of fun are derived only from the frantic pace and the neat special weapons, but it's all bogged down a general lack of variety and it's over before you know it, resulting in a game that's average at best.- DarkStation

If you're still hankering for some old school adventure game action, then you could do worse than Tomb Of The Lost Queen. I did enjoy Squids and people should definitely check it out, but I don't think I can recommend that players purchase Squids on the PC. The pacing and length seem far more suited to its $2 app price tag rather than the $7 PC version. Still if you are like me and don't have an iOS or Android device, it's worth considering dropping some cash on this charming action RPG.- DarkStation

Although it gets bogged down by some discomforting technical issues, Train Simulator 2013 is a game will appeal to a small but hungry niche gamers and hardcore trainspotters. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD might be worth a look if you were really into the series in its prime and want to experience a cleaned-up version of a distinct, defining moment in video games. For casual fans or new recruits, though, there's nothing in this high-def remix that will speak to them. And even the biggest of fans may feel mighty hollow by the shaky treatment of the once king of extreme sports games.- DarkStation

Given that this is the 27th title in the Nancy Drew video game franchise, it was easy to see why these games keep getting made. While I believe that the next incarnations should take some hints from some of the new school, the old school feel of The Deadly Device was refreshing. It won't be challenging The Walking Dead for depth of character, but there is a lot to like in Nancy Drew: The Deadly Device.- DarkStation

Succeeding in everything it sets out to do, and coming in at a very respectable $9.99 price point, Drip Drip is an excellent diversion, especially if you need a break from the heavy video game drops this holiday season has given us. Civil War is a very serious table set against the back drop of a very serious story. While not as fun, per say, as the rest of the offerings Zen Studios has made in their Marvel line, those looking for a challenge will no doubt find it and more among it's bumpers, ramps, and paddles. While not the best Zen has put out, it's still worth the $2.99 asking price for a chance to explore this comic story line.- DarkStation

So, is Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock worth it? If you are a big fan of the series, then you should get some enjoyment out of getting to be The Doctor. As far as licensed products go, you could do a lot worse then How to Train Your Dragon 2. There are good bones here, a nice foundation built on a satisfying flying mechanic, and some excellent work to capture the sights and sounds of the movie and its characters. It, like most other movie games, falls apart where that license meets the tight structure of a modern game under the strictures of a tight turn around. While you apparently can train a dragon, no amount of training can save this game from itself.- DarkStation

Don’t Chat With Strangers feels less like a game and more like a practical joke being played on the gamer. It fails at just about everything besides delivering punishment through trial-and-error. It isn’t a clever puzzle game – it’s just an irritating one. Each scare or surprise is effective once or twice, but they all wear out their welcomes before the end. And, when you finally do get to the end, the game reveals how little content it actually has. With its fast-paced, superhuman action and buckets of mucky pixel gore, Rogue Stache hits the player with great first impressions. Within an hour, though, its problems become apparent. Poor balancing choices, a crippling deficit of personality, and an agonizingly sluggish progression system combine to pull this game below even mediocrity. If you enjoy puzzle games, Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride may be right up your alley. With its variety of puzzle types, a fairy-tale story for some minor plot distraction, and a helpful hint system in place, this is a fairly easy game to recommend to any pure puzzle fan.- DarkStation

In spite of its issues, I had a good time with High Noon Revolver. Not all aspects of its frustration-fun continuum are as thought out as they initially seem, but it succeeds where it needs to the most. It’s a high-octane reflex romp that makes short work of inattentive players, and once you’ve won, it coyly tempts you to do it again with a handicap. Better balancing and a tighter aesthetic focus would’ve resulted in something great, but what we’re left with is still pretty good.- DarkStation

If you happen to enjoy puzzle and logic games, it's very easy to recommend Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren's Call. With its variety of puzzles all strewn along a solid (but not spectacular) story and combined with a helpful hint and navigation system, a puzzle fan is virtually guaranteed hours of entertainment here. As it turns out, if you're a puzzle enthusiast, perhaps you should heed this Siren's Call...- DarkStation

As a stand-alone title, there are plenty of puzzles to enjoy here, and the game is very user-friendly as well (not to mention an easy target for trophy hunters). If you enjoy the genre and those things are a plus for you, this can still be a title worth picking up.- DarkStation
