Overall this portable version does have some areas of concern but at the end of the day it is an enjoyable experience and scores high in the fun factor, particularly for novice gamers and young fans of the movie alike.

Although it is not a bad game by any means the negatives found within it just can't be overlooked.

The game ultimately comes across as unfinished and unfortunately gets thrown into that large group of movie based games that have failed to live up to gamers expectations.

The key here is to have lowered expectations and take it for what it is. A budget sized game and at budget sized price.

Although I was somewhat disappointed by the small leap in visual quality and the average sound effects, it was the music, the online multiplayer, the new touch screen functionality, and the usual addictiveness that drew me in to keep catching them all this time around.

Pocket Pool has many problematic areas. If you are fan of pool games, there are simply much better options available.

And even though there are some hiccups to be found (e.g. the 3D levels lack of oomph) I had a real great time playing Nintendo’s latest addition to the Mario universe.

Arguably one of the best driving games on the PSP to date. The graphics are stellar, the sound is good, and the gameplay is engaging, addictive and highly entertaining.

Compared only to PS2 racers, Test Drive Unlimited is a really impressive title, worthy of a purchase. The content is deceivingly deep and the replay value for fans of the title is excellent.

A game that seems to never end as the amount of things to do is immeasurable.

The movie style production values from the visuals to the voice acting to the sound and story were far above anything I would expect out of a PS2 game.

Worth picking up as the gameplay is addictive and quite enjoyable.

A pleasant surprise but it not the true sequel people may have been expecting. It takes the original title and refines it to a tee though, and that is what makes this game so good. The graphics are superb, the sound is sharp, the campaign, although somewhat short, is quite engaging and the online play is fantastic.

With good visuals, good sound and average gameplay, this title’s overall score is hurt by some poor implementation of the touch screen functionality, which just did not do [as] good as job as it could [have].

Bullet Witch has some good moments but it ultimately fails to deliver a stellar product that third person shooter fans have become accustomed to.

For fans of "Total Overdose" who own a PSP this is a must buy.

If you are a baseball fan and own a PSP you need to give your head a shake if you haven’t picked this one up yet.

In terms of control, the pitching in MLB '07: The Show seems to have gotten a lot of attention.

The multiplayer game, as with other 2K sports tittles, is pretty much a smooth and lag free experience online.

The only thing lacking is online play. Regardless Meteos: Disney Magic is a great update to the original Meteos.

The graphics are stylish and sharp, the sound delivers and the campaign is pretty engaging.

One of the best space civ sims ever made.

The lack of mini-games that really grabbed me was just too small.

With some good graphics, good sound, and some great multiplayer additions (both off and online) Diddy Kong is only held back by Rare forcing gamers to play the game’s levels over and over to fully complete it.

It takes strategic and real time strategy games to a whole new level on the Xbox 360 and it is fairly easy to learn. Sure, the single player mode is relatively short but the multiplayer action is where the fun lies.

Although you will have to read a lot of text, the story pulls you in and the plot has its fair share of twists and turns.

With very stylish graphics, funky sound and some very addictive gameplay, this game is great as is. The addition of multiplayer only adds for a better package.

While the sound and storyline disappoint somewhat the addition of a pretty good online multiplayer component helps somewhat even though there should be more modes.

While Kirby Squeak Squad doesn’t really revolutionize the franchise it still does its job of adding a few new elements to the entry platformer for the younger crowd (or those young at heart).

The graphics are sharp, the sound is superb, the campaign is engaging and the online play is great and has lasting appeal.

The main selling feature of this game, the control, has some really great ideas, however this time around they were not fully realized and the promises of great wii-mote control just never fully panned out.

But it is the new Wii specific controls that I found brought a new dynamic to the third-person controls that Nintendo pioneered with "Ocarina of Time."

Excite Truck does a great job of showing what Nintendo set out to do when developing the Wii and its innovative controller.

Wii Sports is all about showing what Nintendo's newest console an do in terms of innovation and making gaming accessible to everyone and overall it does a great job of this.

That being said, the franchise has made some improvements since its inception and many wannabe rock stars may find 'SingStar Rocks!' disappointing compared to more recent instalments out there.

With easy to pick up and play controls, some pretty stylish graphics, good sound, challenging single player and an enjoyable multiplayer experience, you really can’t go wrong with it.

If you own a 360, you’d most likely be better off playing that version if you haven’t done so yet.

Sure, it is not one of the most original, nor the best looking FPS to hit the market, but it is a great looking launch title for the PS3.

A good showcase of the PS3’s graphical ability but the controls felt too rushed and made very little use of the new features of the SIXAXIS controller.

With innovative use of the Wii-mote and some pretty stylish graphics and sound, this game is definitely worth the price of admission.

The lack of a multiplayer mode was somewhat disappointing but rest assured should you decide to pick up and purchase this title you won’t be disappointed by the rest of the package.

The core of the 2K series lies in gameplay and 2K7 really excels in this department.

This game stands as an example of the absolute definition of a great sequel. It is so much improved that I cannot even fathom going back to play the original now.

With stylish graphics, a great soundtrack and addicting gameplay, including the multiplayer mode, this game scores top marks and it is a worthy game for any DS owner's library of growing games.

With great graphics, great sound and pretty good gameplay, including the addition of multiplayer, Square Enix has once again shown why they are on top when it comes to developing and publishing RPG titles.

Pokemon Ranger is definitely a game for pokemanicas looking for a fix until the next true chapters in the series are finally released in N. America.

It keeps the basic formula that keeps 2D RPGs at the top if their class, but adds in some interesting elements as well. The ease of the touch screen also makes this game accessible to almost anyone.

Good job Nintendo, I think you've even got my wife hooked too.

The graphics are average and the sound is ok but the gameplay is engaging as it becomes more challenging the more you play and advance through career mode.

It has all the right components (quality gameplay, strong graphics and sound). Move over Civilization, there's a new emperor in town and his name Caesar 4.

With quality graphics, good sound and a Lemmings like gameplay how can anyone go wrong?

I think the biggest downer is the missing franchise mode. How else is one to see how their management skills translate to the product on the court?

After three years it is my honest opinion that Sony’s series needs a shot in the arm to take it to a new level as there are still some computer AI issues that need to be worked out.

I think that hardcore gamers will love the challenge and will most undoubtedly revel in the thought of out powering enemies with great strength.

It also captures the tension and wit in a lot of the real life games, but unfortunately not enough to make me play this title with any regularity.

A significant leap from last versions of the franchise.

With oversimplified gameplay and sub-par graphics Pokemon Mystery Dungeon – Blue Rescue Team does not have the depth one would hope.

Overall, it's a bit of the same old with a few more bells and whistles.

Although the control is quite innovative the overall gameplay just manages to make it over that average mark.

With such a huge open world, tons of cars and events plus future downloadable content, the longevity of Test Drive Unlimited is quite high.

With stylized graphics, catchy sound, and great gameplay, this game deserves a spot in any PSP owner’s library.

Even though the game is somewhat easy it still manages to breathe new life into the StarFox franchise and anyone with a DS would be crazy not to pick up this title and give it a go.

A significant leap from last years version.

Although it lacks some depth that other popular fighters have, one will still have fun with this game.

With fabulous graphics and great sound to match, Prey manages to put forth one hell of a gaming experience. However the short game time combined with a laggy and rather limited online features prevents this game from becoming one of the great titles of the year.

A breath of fresh air and break from some of the sim soccer games out on the market.

Diehard gearheads out there who really like to tinker with a vehicles set-up might be a little disappointed with inability to do so in the Career or Trans World Mode. However, that being said, with great graphics, good sound and some very engaging gameplay (multiplayer included) one cannot go wrong with this racing title.

A great addition to the Touch Generations line of games. The puzzles are a bit tougher then those found in Brain Age, which in many ways is a good thing as the game is not a rehash of the previous title.

For those who have lots of playtime with Zuma, or a Zuma-like game, in the past you may want to wait for a price break on this game as you have played it before. For those new to this style of game, welcome and enjoy your time with it.

With improved visuals the game has been somewhat brought into the 21st century; however the lack of a multiplayer mode is somewhat disconcerting in this day and age of wireless capabilities.

For hardcore puzzle solvers, or fans of either the book or movie, I would recommend this game, but I think the average gamer won't give the title the time to really crack the code.

What the game does right is take advantage of the updated graphical capabilities of the DS in order to help move the 2D Mario franchise further, and it does it well propelling this game to the status of one of the most fun of its types on the system.

Sin Episodes is a great way to start off the episodic content experiment but, more importantly, it is a great game that is marred only by clipping errors and an invasive copy protection scheme. If Steam or the concept of episodic content does not hinder your enjoyment of a game, I would encourage all FPS fans to look into this.

Regardless if there is any truth to the belief Brain Age is a great game of puzzles and logic that will keep fans of these exercises playing for quite sometime.

Although not a bad game, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat did not live up to my expectations. There is nothing original about the game and in many ways I felt that this was a poor man's GRAW.

Such things as clunky control, the hit and miss graphics, the relatively short time to finish the game, and the need for a little more tweaking on the overall implementation of a great idea really hold Odama back.

The lack of online play really hurts Tourist Trophy and the limitation of only four other racers on screen kicks it in the shins a little more.

The graphics are quite stunning and the sound does not disappoint. The storyline is engaging and the voices are superb and almost too realistic.

Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires is a pretty good experience for its first time on the Xbox 360. For those that like hack and slash games with a good focus on strategy and planning you will feel at home here.

Likely the best game released in the last decade.

A great update to very long running classic puzzle game.

With a great single player component and an even better multiplayer one, this game's overall score is only slightly hurt by the fact that the end of each level in single player is repetitive and the controls take some getting used too.

Those looking for a deep action RPG will have to look elsewhere though as Petpet Adventures falls a little short in the storyline and balance to really make this a must have title.

The latest chapter, Dark Mirror, has great graphics, great sound, great gameplay and a very robust multiplayer mode all neatly wrapped up in one big package.

With great graphics, great sound and a fun multiplayer game the simply titled Daxter is a hit on the PSP.

The graphics are superb, the sound is sharp, the campaign is engaging and the online play is great.

The game has rather impressive graphics but it does fall short at times in the framerate department.

This will game will appeal to diehard puzzle fans but the Pokemon theme may scare people off.

It is a great game, matching in spirit the pen and paper version.

Baseball fans who own a PS2 (and a PSP for that case) can rest assured that Sony didn't rest on its laurels and put out a pretty decent baseball game.

The only noticeable downfall to this game was that the sharpness of the PSP's screen (usually a very positive thing) overly emphasized some of the weaknesses in the graphics engine while the sound was noticeably toned down from the PS2 version.

The graphics are brilliant, especially in High Definition, and the sound is rock solid, and even more so in Dolby Digital 5.1.

Empires at War is a poorly designed RTS that would have been laughed off the Gamestop shelves without its Star Wars skin.

As it is, "Getting Up" has some fun and holds a few surprises but may not be everyone's cup of tea.

It has memorable characters that also help to make it a good game, from a dysfunctional family to a nectar addicted teddy-bear named sunshine.

True Swing Golf may not have the visuals or sound to wow the average gamer, but it makes some definite headway in the gameplay and multiplayer department.

It may not be everyone’s game of choice but for me I enjoyed the vast level types and the actual storyline isn’t half bad either.

I also think that the omission of a save feature also a big disappointment considering what kind of work can go into making music.
