"Stacked" is probably a better option on the PS2 and PSP.

This is a solid second effort, but both Left Field and Activision really need to put together a stellar effort next year, when the PS3 and Xbox 360 are the main gaming systems for a lot of people, along with the Wii, in order to get people to drop the money on the title.

It also captures the tension and wit in a lot of the real life games, but unfortunately not enough to make me play this title with any regularity.

The tutorials should appeal to newcomers, while experienced players will wish there was a little more to the overall experience.

It's slow paced and you'll get tired of hearing the same jokes and trash-talk over and over again, but serious poker fanatics will enjoy the big-name players and casual players will enjoy the feel of playing a game with their buddies.

year's game does put a greater emphasis on its included pro players, and the online multiplayer is certainly a draw, but the offline play is still a bit mundane, thanks to off-kilter artificial intelligence and lackluster presentation.
