Aside from going back and collecting more notes, there’s essentially no replay value here at all. While there’s no doubt that Despereaux will make a great present or stocking stuffer, if you’re considering it for yourself, you would be advised to rent it.

An obsession-inducing item collecting and character customization element mixed with a moderately entertaining fantasy story gives Fantasy Golf some solid legs to stand on.

You won't confuse a Red Steel with "Gears of War" or "Resistance: Fall of Man," but it’s clear that the Wii has some power in its corner.
