I really encourage you to immerse yourselves in the silliness, absurdity, craziness and shamelessness of Volition's latest game. [December 2011, p.86]

Uncharted 3 shines in every artistic and technological aspect and offers one of the greatest adventures in the history of gaming. It would be a mistake not to embark on it. [December 2011, p.78]

Rayman Origins is absolutely adorable. It's a wonderful gift to those who once set through the nights murdering their joysticks and gamepads with classic 2D platform games. [December 2011, p.76]

The essence of good old Gothic-style RPG: a neat story, a lot of new enemies and of course all the features that made Two Worlds II enjoyable, including interesting crafting and character development systems. If you liked Two Worlds II, you will like the add-on even more. [December 2011, p.74]

A reasonable driving model and more attention to details would be enough to make this game significantly better. It seems that at some point the developers ran out of time and as a result the new Need for Speed is decent at best. [December 2011, p.70]

What looked great crammed into 3 minutes of a trailer turned out to be boring when stretched over a whole campaign. In small doses combat is very satisfying and a mature take on Middle-Earth is very welcome. [December 2011, p.68]

Undeniably the best Assassin's Creed game yet, but it's plain to see that there's been progress in the industry and what was breathtaking in 2007 today is enjoyable at best. Ubisoft's AC series gave us a lot of fun over the years but it's high time to let it go. [December 2011, p.64]

Edge of Time would really benefit from a more varied gameplay and less confined levels. Other than that it's a decent game with a silly but entertaining story that Spider-Man fans should dig. [December 2011, p.62]

Skyrim has some minor issues but as a whole is a brilliant RPG. It offers you a wonderful world full of legends and mysteries, tens of guilds and factions that you can join, freedom and myriad of side quests, a great character development and an extensive crafting system. It was very close to receiving 10/10. [December 2011, p.56]

I can recommend this game as a good introduction to the genre for those who would like to start their first virtual career as a football club boss, but it's still not much of a competitor for the Football Manager series. [December 2011, p.54]

I expected a game made with passion, polished in every detail, something that will set the direction for others for the coming years and threaten Call of Duty's hegemony. Battlefield 3 turned out to be just a very good shooter – and that is simply not enough considering all the promises EA made. [December 2011, p.44]

Modern Warfare 3 deserves a 10/10 in a 'Call of Duty game' category, but we already know all its tricks, strengths and weaknesses. Some of the series' elements were successfully recreated in other titles but none has gathered them all on one disc yet – and this is why MW3 still wins. [December 2011, p.38]

As all of us I would like games to be ambitious, unconventional, surprising and thought inspiring. But sometimes I just want to blow stuff up and this intense, good looking traditional twin stick shooter satisfies this need perfectly. [November 2011, p.82]

For many developers creating a new edition of last year's best sports game would be an overwhelming task. But not for the guys behind NBA 2K12, who coped with it brilliantly. [November 2011, p.78]

Put away Dragon Age, forget about Risen, let The Witcher be and don't wait for Skyrim. The feelings of fear and suspense that accompany you when you enter a new chamber in Dark Souls' castle cannot be described. You must experience it for yourself. And then suddenly die, of course.
