Although in terms of gameplay mechanics The Old Republic closely resembles World of Warcraft, it's not just another MMO. It's a full-blooded RPG that makes your character important from the start and tells stories that are worth following. It also allows you to enjoy them alone if you're not keen on that whole multiplayer thing. There are a lot of unknowns in TOR's future but I keep my fingers crossed for it to be bright. An old Mario Kart enhanced with a couple of details like gliding, swimming and customizing your vehicle. It seems Nintendo is running in circles chasing its own tail. [January 2012, p.75]- CD-Action

You will soon discover that during fights you can wave your Wii Remote randomly and still defeat most of the enemies. The problem is that apart from the new control system there is nothing fresh in Skyward Sword. [January 2012, p.75]- CD-Action

Fans spoiled by sparkling creativity of Super Mario Galaxy may find the latest Mario platformer uninventive, but the pure pleasure it offers makes up for the idea recycling. Plus it features the best 3D I've seen on 3DS so far. [January 2012, p.74]- CD-Action

However its production values are very low, this game did impress me with an emotional story and tough moral choices it forced me to make. [January 2012, p.73]- CD-Action

A textbook example of a 2D point'n'click adventure game. Probably just a handful of players will decide to give it a chance but they will be rewarded with a good story served with 'early SCUMM' visuals. [January 2012, p.73]- CD-Action

You rarely come across a game that ages so gracefully – updating graphics (that look great, by the way) was enough, because the story is still great and shooting aliens is as enjoyable as it was 10 years ago. [January 2012, p.70]- CD-Action

We might have grown weary of Traveller's Tales LEGO series, but Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is the best and the most complete game they've done. An ideal remedy for the headache that Electronic Arts caused us with their lousy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 adaptation. [January 2012, p.68]- CD-Action

An arcade racer in purest form – the number of points you gather during the race (e.g. for drifting) is more important than being first on the finish line. Unfortunately it's not Split/Second and driving around unalterable tracks get boring pretty fast. [January 2012, p.67]- CD-Action

Generic missions, bland locations and poor humour make Bunch of Heroes an uneven battle not only against alien invaders but mostly against boredom. [January 2012, p.66]- CD-Action

The best Move game I came across. I was surprised with how much fun I had remembering the light gun arcade machines I used to play as a kid. The game also supports the Dualshock but don't bother with it, 'cause if you remove the motion controller from the equation, you're left with something old, ugly, short and rather pointless. A low budget shooter with unbelievably dumb AI, rather ugly visuals (even though it uses Unreal Engine 3) and ridiculous dialogues. [January 2012, p.64]- CD-Action

It's more of an interactive movie than a game, because you don't really get the sense of influencing the events. What Telltale Games concocted is a huge QTE sequence interrupted by dialogues and very easy puzzles. I can recommend it only to casual gamers still in love with the movie. When at 3 AM I heard my friends calling for support in panic or we quarrelled over tactics, I had fun. But when I had to play with a random group of people the game often became a nuisance. [January 2012, p.58]- CD-Action

A healthy compromise between forcing you to think and mindless shooting. Unfortunately it takes only 4-5 hours to finish Rochard and there's no replay value here. [January 2012, p.56]- CD-Action
