Need for Speed Unbound has some issues (e.g. in-game economy needs immediate balancing), but is still quite satisfying and I consider it one of this year’s best arcade racing games (not that there’s a huge competition…). You may also like its unusual art style, but I personally think the developers took it a bit too far and should’ve worked harder on technical aspects of Unbound’s visual side.- CD-Action

The developers found a proper balance between different gameplay elements, so both raiding other players’ castles and preparing an automated defense of your own stronghold are fun. [06/2015, p.73]- CD-Action

Fantastic Pets is similar to Kinectimals but allows you to create your own pets by choosing body parts (legs, wings, tails etc.). In addition you can see them running around your room, but these Augmented Reality elements are rather weak as the real world appears very dark on screen. Still I can see a big group of 3-, 5- or 7-year-olds that will enjoy this game. [August 2011, p.73]- CD-Action

The latest expansion pack has a couple of shortcomings but brings a whole lot of fun. It enriches the game’s world, provides many activities, offers different ways of running a backyard business, and gives a lot of freedom in how you handle the horses.- CD-Action

Did Batman’s mentees manage to carry on without him? They did, buy he would’ve coped better. Gotham Knights has its moments, but its not as fun as Rocksteady’s gems and fails to hit the visual quality I expect from a PS5 game despite running at 30 fps. WB Games Montréal delivered a decent title that satisfies the hunger for adventures set in the DC Universe, but I had the feeling the developers didn’t even try to beat the Arkham series.- CD-Action

A 15-year old title brought back as a tasty appetizer for those who can’t wait for the second part of the new Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is a very good remake with an addictive combat system. You can tell it’s a smaller-scale game designed for PSP, but it was remade with love and although it won’t change anyone’s life, Final Fantasy VII fans will definitely enjoy it.- CD-Action

Capcom wanted to fuse two popular series about hunting monsters and somewhat succeeded. In terms of technicalities the game is far ahead of Pokémon Sun/Moon, but lacks even a fraction of its depth. [12/2017, p.45]- CD-Action

An engaging, intriguing story in which every element seems well thought out and fits in with the rest: from the audiovisual setting, to the authentic characters, dialogue and the plot. It's a pity that the story moves too slowly at first, and when it speeds up, it speeds up too much.- CD-Action

Autosport tries hard to bring back the glory of the first GRID (e.g. the cockpit cam returns) but the career mode was designed horribly, the game engine is aging and the whole thing lacks a spark. [08/2014, p.66]- CD-Action

What if we take Ninja Gaiden and make the protagonist run automatically? We get NinjAwasome – a game that’s really enjoyable in short sessions. [11/2016, p.75]- CD-Action

ECHO made a great first impression on me with its dark atmosphere and AI that mimics player’s tactics, but this impression did not last long, as the game sunk into repetitiveness. [12/2017, p.47]- CD-Action

Friday the 13th does not overflow with content, but is rich enough to generate varied memories (unlike Dead by Daylight, another example of asymmetrical multiplayer). What it needs to become a truly worthwhile game is some more polish. [08/2017, p.76]- CD-Action

Resurrection is a bundle of two slightly renovated classic games of the series – Darkstalkers: Night Warrior and Darkstalkers 3. It’s fun but I don’t see much of a point in such re-editions. What we need is a brand new Darkstalkers game. [CD-Action 05/2013, p.80]- CD-Action

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is an innovative mix of different genres that does many things well. Its combat system is satisfying, characters have depth, the atmosphere is great. However, you have to search for the game’s strengths under a massive pile of bland, tiresome dialogues that constantly keep you from actually playing, lame humor and endless tutorials.- CD-Action

If you treat yourself to the PvE campaign – especially in co-op mode – in small portions, it's a good recipe for a couple of relaxing game sessions. In the beginning at least, because over time watching the experience bar grow simply gets boring. [June 2011, p. 62]- CD-Action

With its entertaining combat system, solid story and enjoyable puzzles Masters of Anima would’ve been excellent if it weren’t for small but irritating bugs and occasionally absurdly high difficulty level. [06/2018, p.62]- CD-Action

It's worth to take a look at this title and its unique art direction. Unfortunately it quickly becomes clear that Rock of Ages' rules are too simple to provide a deep enough gameplay. [October, p.59]- CD-Action

Lego Pirates is hardly the best offering from the series but still is enjoyable. I will not recommend it to everyone – because the game's core concept got old – but those of you who love cute Lego parodies by Traveller's Tales' should be pleased. [June 2011, p.72]- CD-Action

I doubt that Everything could be of interest to anyone who isn’t already a gamer – or win over someone that doesn’t agree with its message. For it the game itself is too weak. And although I spent a pleasant evening with it, I won’t come back because there isn’t much to come back to. [03/2019, p.58]- CD-Action

The idea to fuse Tetris with a music game was a good one, but Chime Sharp failed to escape repetitiveness, so it’s not suitable for longer sessions. It’s a good way to stretch your brain every now and then though. [05/2017, p.55]- CD-Action

I appreciate the new interface (it needs getting used to though) and talent system (those dilemmas!), as well as changes to crafting that raise its importance. I enjoyed dragonriding a lot and found quests to be engaging, but was disappointed by dull dungeons and repetitive endgame content. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is a pretty safe expansion and I expected a bit more from it, but I do feel it has a huge potential that could be fulfilled in the near future.- CD-Action

Riptide does a great job as a co-operative action game and it tastes best played with friends. If someone is still hungry for some zombie slashing after having finished the original Dead Island, Riptide will provide same fun enriched with some new equipment and fresh gameplay mechanics. Unfortunately it repeats most of the mistakes of the predecessor. [CD-Action 06/2013, p.48]- CD-Action
