In terms of gameplay mechanics Injustice closely resembles Netherrealm’s previous work – Mortal Kombat – but fails to outshine it. Still it’s a great fighting game, especially if you’re into comic books. [CD-Action 06/2013, p.60]- CD-Action

The developers contrasted disturbing scenes with simple, idyllic pixel art, creating an intriguing mix of a horror story and a fable. [05/2016, p.68]- CD-Action

Championship Edition DX+ was brilliant, because it was deep enough to satisfy hardcore high score chasers, but also offered straightforward fun even to casual gamers. Championship Edition 2 is so fast a lot of people will be overwhelmed by it. [12/2016, p.46]- CD-Action

Hands down the best Black Ops III expansion and one of the best in the history of Call of Duty brings back classic maps (no Mob of the Dead though, which is a bummer) and lets you revive your memories online. [09/2017, p.67]- CD-Action

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PC) – 80 Although its plot should be understandable to newcomers, the most compact Yakuza game is primarily a gift for loyal fans of the series hungry for more of Kiryu’s adventures. You get to beat up hundreds of thugs, fight for honor, help people and enjoy numerous stories – all that with the usual tons of unique charm that’s worth experiencing.- CD-Action

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is one of the most successful installments in the series in recent years. The new real-time combat system works great, and the game itself is hard to put down. Unfortunately, the graphics are disappointing.- CD-Action

It’s a worthy finale to Slayer’s gory odyssey, but I must admit that while Part One left me hungry for more, I was a bit tired by the end of Part Two. Still, you should definitely play it if you’re a fan of Doom. [05/2021, p.53]- CD-Action

The only thing that stopped me from rating OTC higher is the lackluster, restricted and discouraging campaign. For short sessions it’s a perfect game though. [09/2016, p.50]- CD-Action

FIFA 22 shows its wasted potential every step of the way. When everything works as it should, it’s the best FIFA in years. The problem is that while sometimes the new HyperMotion technology works great and really makes a noticeable difference, the game often picks wrong animations from its mind-boggling array of 8 million. Let’s hope EA Sports builds on these promising foundations, fixes what needs to be fixed and delivers a truly great experience next year. [12/2021, p.36]- CD-Action

There is only one thing missing in Origins: a coin slot. If you're willing to reminisce about the good old days of arcade gaming, this is a great opportunity to do it.[CD-Action 13/2012, p.36]- CD-Action

The new large area is just a beginning. The car was introduced really well and tweaking it is really rewarding, because all the modifications are meaningful. There are new weapons and enemies (real bosses at last!) and the expansion is well balanced in terms of character development. Lastly there’s a good, skillfully presented story and enough content for 20-25 hours. [03/2016, p.30]- CD-Action

The Norwood Suite shames all other walking simulators with the quality of its storytelling and the way it uses player interactions in the narrative. It’s a unique, intelligent and ambitious game that eludes simple interpretation. [13/2017, p.37]- CD-Action

The Chronicles of Nyanya is like a shotgun loaded with popcultural references. The game clearly leans towards comedy, but its gameplay mechanics, though very basic, are well-thought-out. [06/2018, p.67]- CD-Action

In a good team, Elden Ring Nightreign is an extremely satisfying roguelite game that impresses with its depth, mechanics, and rich content. However, with balance issues and matchmaking problems, it can become a frustrating experience at times.- CD-Action

32 soldiers on vast battlefields and interesting tactical options introduced by the possibility to build structures make Starhawk shine in multiplayer – but only on occasion. And the single player campaign only pretends not to be an expanded tutorial. [July 2012, p.66]- CD-Action

Good news: new Portal game! Bad news: it’s just a marriage between Portal and Bridge Constructor. Good news: it’s a happy marriage. Building bridges with GLaDOS might not be as atmospheric and witty as big Portal games, but it sure is fun and it’s definitely not the case of cynical preying on a beloved franchise. The third installment of the series offers more of everything, which means you have broader possibilities and probably will enjoy it longer before you get bored with it. However, in terms of fundamentals it’s pretty much a copy of the previous games, especially OMD! 2, from which it basically borrowed everything worth borrowing. So, is this reheated dish worth giving a try? Definitely, because even if it tastes familiar, it was seasoned perfectly. [10/2021, p.58]- CD-Action

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is an interesting case of a Polish remaster of a Nintendo game – another fruit of Polish-Japanese cooperation right after Bloober Team's collaboration with Konami on Silent Hill 2. The gameplay remains very challenging, while the visuals are sharper and more vivid.- CD-Action
