Just like World of Tanks Blitz, World of Warships Blitz is a compact version of the game we know. As such it’s an experience both very familiar and surprisingly fresh. [03/2018, p.70]- CD-Action

A perfect balance between an RPG and a strategy game, between turn based gameplay and lively action. Although it has some flaws, I was able to turn a blind eye to them, as it offers at least 20 hours of great, absorbing fun. [CD-Action 08/2013, p.70]- CD-Action

Capcom’s collection of 31 classic titles (dating back to 1984-2001) creates an enjoyable illusion of standing in front of a real arcade cabinet. There are a couple of problems though. The free version of Arcade Stadium offers just one game (1943: The Battle of Midway) and unlocking the rest means either paying for all of them at once or buying them in three smaller bundles. It means you can’t simply choose the games you want. What’s more, Capcom will charge you additionally for the god mode option (ridiculous!), and some of the titles are lagging. Adventure game – check. Developed by Frenchmen – check. Tells a story about an American – check – teenage girl – check – gifted with paranormal powers – check. Here’s where Beyond: Two Souls and Life is Strange go their separate ways, because the latter is actually good. [03/2014, p.74]- CD-Action

Dying Light 2 is a solid sequel that creatively amplifies the pros of the predecessor. Its multi-layered story is engaging and the player’s choices have actual impact on the game’s open world. Admittedly, there are some shortcomings, but not substantial enough to ruin the overall very positive impression. I had tons of fun playing DL2 and sometimes lost track of time.- CD-Action

Twisted Dreams is as old school as it gets. It’s also long and offers some additional modes for really hardcore gamers who should like Black Forest’s platformer. [CD-Action 05/2013, p.73]- CD-Action

Given the amount of puzzles tied to light and darkness I would risk a statement that has the Shadows of the Damned been developed using the fantastic Alan Wake's engine, it would be outstanding. What other game offers you gross visions of hell flavored with crude humor? Where else can you find a horse pooping spheres of darkness? Or an infernal lord called Fleming? I tried, really tried to like The Elder Scrolls as a MMORPG, I gave it a fair number of chances. Now I hoped the Morrowind will be a game-changer, but unfortunately it will not convince those who were unable to embrace TESO earlier. [09/2017, p.50]- CD-Action

Ignoring Sucker for Love: First Date would be a huge loss. It’s the best dating sim I’ve ever played and potentially the game of the year. It perfectly blends comedy and horror, features phenomenal voice acting and truly funny dialogues, and offers multiple endings. I can’t wait for the sequel.- CD-Action

Dragon Quest meets Dynasty Warriors and provides dozens of hours of fun (one dozen less would have been beneficial though), tons of side quests, all Japanese DLCs and plenty of special attacks to discover. If you’re looking for a Japanese action RPG and you’re not allergic to Warriors, you should give Dragon Quest Heroes a chance. [13/2015, p.54]- CD-Action

Humankind features some revolutionary mechanics, but fails to use their potential to the fullest. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the game is simply very enjoyable and Sid Meier’s Civilization now has a major rival. [11/2021, p.78]- CD-Action

Living up to such legacy seemed impossible but Beamdog understands Baldur’s Gate and created a game true to the original. Unfortunately along with the party you need to gather a band of patches, because bugs are crawling all over the place. [06/2016, p.40]- CD-Action

EA Sports wants to please everyone, which is why FC 26 is caught between two game modes representing opposite extremes. It's good that the developers are trying, but unfortunately, the results of their work are rather disappointing at this point.- CD-Action

Onrush takes full contact racing to another level and it is thrilling at times. The problem for me was that there’s very little actual racing left in Onrush. It was replaced by chaos and I hate racing games in which my triumph or defeat does not depend entirely on my skill. [08/2018, p.83]- CD-Action

Fallen God is a large stand-alone expansion that succeeds in differentiating itself from its predecessors. The developers managed to diversify the experience (not spectacularly though) and did a terrific job at depicting the specific nature of the new race – trolls. [13/2020, p.72]- CD-Action

When picking up Ancestors Legacy, you need to be aware that it’s not a carbon copy of Age of Empires or Warcraft III. A lot of gameplay elements were designed in a new, original way and even though at first it does cause confusion, it quickly turns out to be one of the game’s most notable strengths (which also include visuals and entrancing soundtrack). An unusual roguelite, a hardcore survival game, and at the same time an unconventional driving game where going slow matters more than going fast – yes, Pacific Drive is a multi-genre beast. It offers numerous mechanics and systems, provides detailed gameplay settings for you to delve into, and gives you a lot of freedom as you explore the roads. However, its complexity causes some balance issues.- CD-Action

While the story is almost non-existent and I wish there were more classes and character development option, I recommend Solasta to those looking for a real old-school RPG experience. I’m especially impressed with the use of vertical environments in both exploration and combat, and the way light and darkness were made crucial factors on a battlefield. [08/2021, p.42]- CD-Action

Quantum Break is a bad movie, but a really good game. It did not convince me with its poor (and poorly told) story and characters that I did not care about at all, but as a shooter it is really enjoyable and creative. [05/2016, p.38]- CD-Action

As expected the sequel is massively improved and expanded (e.g. with two more character classes) in comparison to the original game. If it weren’t for Path of Exile and Reaper of Souls that got me my fix of hack’n’slash, I would be playing Van Helsing II till the third part appears. [08/2014, p.54]- CD-Action

Hell Is Us is a game difficult to ignore, even though it is far from perfect. It certainly excels as puzzle adventure game and leaves the player with a lot to think about, not shying away from provocative statements about the nature of war.- CD-Action

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is a unique, beautiful and realistic simulation of driving through a wilderness untouched by civilization. It poses an even greater challenge than the studio’s previous games and while it will make you sweat, possibly bring you to tears, the reward will be an incredible sense of satisfaction.- CD-Action
